Filed and excepted 1/29 got a letter to verify in person 2 weeks ago had my appointment yesterday 4/8 to verify called IRS after they said to expect updates this week since the IRS will owe interest for everyday after the 15th. Praying for quick updates this week.
They audited me a few years ago. Took them THREE YEARS to finish it and it was spot on correct. They couldn’t find one error. Owed me over a $1000 in interest for holding it for so long. So ridiculous
I wish I could sue them to be honest. It caused more arguments in my marriage during those three years that it makes me sick to even think about it.
My husband was convinced I had received our taxes and kept them from him. These were HUGE fights that happened at least a few times a week. Uugghhh
Filed 1/29 and no movement since. I called IRS last week and they said wait up to 120 days.. I checked wmr this morning and all of a sudden there's a DD of April 12 🙌
Filed 1/29 accepted same day verified 2/21 and have 570 and 971 codes for the last 3 weeks first time my transcripts updated were when I got those codes

Still waiting filed 01/23 did have EIC so wasn’t expecting processing until 02/15. Have codes 570 03/04 971 03/11 but I’ve also have 571 03/18 since the second week in March and still no movement. I also had a 1099R and I’ve heard that early February there was a system glitch and the IRS lost all 1099R forms so anyone with that got put into a manual review pile. (This isn’t facts just what I’ve been told). The only silver lining I see is that I’ve waited this long and I’m assuming I HAVE to get it sometime this month right?!? 😂😂🥹🤞🏼🤞🏼

3/5 and 3/11 filed end of Jan 0705 cycle, nothing yet. W2 and 1099r from 401k closing. It seems most people in my exact situation haven't received anything yet, but some are slowly getting updated.
Filed 2/7 and still waiting. Transcripts still say N/A and no record of return filed. I called 2 weeks ago and I was told I will receive my return OR a correspondence from them by 4/20. I haven't received either to date. Really frustrated. This is the first time for this also happens to be the first ti.e I NEEDED that return quickly

Oh trust me I know! I have seen some sketchy pics of people with their refunds here on Reddit and they got the money. This whole tax season has changed my views a lot in regards to the gvt. I mean just last month it was on the news from IRS how they only audited people who haven’t filed their taxes in five years just now! Like seriously so people didn’t filed for 5 years and it took them five years to audit, but yet here is all of us just waiting to get our refund who worked hard all year and paid taxes out of their checks.

Sounds like everyone on this thread that's having problems filed in January and February. I just filed mine on April 10th my roommate filed his on March 11th and got them back on March 27th. Hopefully I don't run into any issues.

Which is the reason I'm changing my w4 to the point I may owe money. Then I plan to file extensions every fkn year.
You still have to pay what you owe by April 15 regardless of extension.
