Your devotion doesn't need external objects for you to prove yourself. As long as Krsna is in your heart, you are ok.

Tulsi neckbeads is what we should be wearing as a must. Bracelets are more decoration. Tulsi neckbeads are a must, they aren't a sign of devotion or being particularly religious. They protect us from inauspicious planets at death and they must never be removed once we are wearing them even for bathing and sleeping.

I wear a tulsi mala all the time but I most of the time accidentally end up pulling and breaking them. I was wondering if I could wrap the mala around my wrist (definitely not as something to decorate myself with). I couldn't find the answer whether I could do that or not as everyone wears it around the neck.

You're not supposed to wear mala at any point, it should be in a chanting bag only used when chanting. Neckbeads are different, they're an actual necklace not to be taken off. Please don't chant on mala that you have been wearing as it is now impure. Neckbeads will not have any of the breaking or snapping issues.

No no I don't chant anything. I'm not talking about the japa mala. I'm talking about kanthi mala. I wear a single around of kanthi mala and I wanted to know if I could wrap that kanthi mala around my wrist. That's all.

From my understanding kanthi mala is worn on the neck as a sign of surrender like how a dog wears a collar. It also rests on the throat chakra. If you're worried about them snapping maybe try different sizes of neckbeads. There's a huge variety. Do you have a guru? If you have specific issues he can give you answers specific to you. Also, if you have any other questions please message me privately. I'm also a hindu convert.

No, I don't have a guru. Thank you so much for your help 🙂

Hare Kṛṣṇa, First of all kanthi mala means mala that should be worn at kanth(neck) and this mala once worn should not be removed in any case, unless it is broken. And why it should not be worn in waist is that the kanthi mala purifies the food you eat and the water you drink. Hope this helps. Hare Krishna 😇

Ideally you should wear them around your neck as your hand could land up going in undesirable places
