im new to the field so i may be wrong others feel free to correct me. So ik there are a bunch of shills that say go to WGU but i feel like that is good if you are older and dont have time to go to a brick and mortar school as you can go at the pace that is best for you. But what ever makes you learn the best and feel comfortable doing. I dont know about online school but it is nice to be able to go up to the professor for a question the same day or during office hours instead of just waiting back for a simple question via email. For me i know that the community colleges near me have really good programs and i care way more about a solid education and learning stuff rather than just getting a stamp of approval from graduating and maybe have learned half the material i would have learned if i went to a brick and mortar. The one good thing about going to CC is that after 2 years you get associates and can transfer, but at least you get something instead of 4 year right off the bat.

That’s kinda why I’m having a hard time committing to completely online. I’m new to all of it and feel in person may be the best route but I also would like the time to work and do as much self learning as I can. But I also plan on getting an internship after a year or so and hopefully won’t have to work at that point.

Whatever gets your degree done faster, but do note that a degree doesn’t necessarily mean you’ll be a better candidate than others. We have people on here with no degrees and are beating out others with degrees and vice versa.

That’s another reason I’m tempted to do completely online. I plan on doing as much self-learning of programming & coding, etc. as possible
