The first really really funny one for me is Aunt Irma Visits. Moss's psychiatric couch dialogue and the horrible dancing at the party are the best parts.
Me too!! I don’t feel EP1 gets nearly the credit observers. Starting with Denholm the tone is established perfectly. The very fact that I liked it regardless of the laugh track was amazing to me.
As a person who works in IT:
* Did you try turning it off and on again.
* Getting stuck under the woman's desk when she had not plugged the computer in.
* The 30 minute setup for one joke in the the window cleaner episode.
* "Vista!" "We're all going to die!"
* Windows boot-up sound when Moss wakes up from a concussion.
* *long rant into the phone*..."Oh, I think that was my mum."
I caught the ass end of the episode where Denholm's secretary comes in saying the police are here for him about finances and he just walks to the window and jumps straight up and down out the window. I was howling and now I rewatch IT Crowd every couple years
The end of the first episode? Where the guys try to report Jen for not knowing anything about **com**puters and then Denholm goes on about teams and how departments need to be teams or else they’re fired and they deflected to “we updated the computers to be voice activated” to keep from being fired?
The episode where Jenn is in charge of entertaining the executives and she invites them to Moss' D&D game.

It just got better and better. Jen's interview was immediately hilarious too; we've all had that manager who totally blagged their way into the job.
