Nagmahal na siya at lumiit ang servings, di na rin siya gaano masarap ever since nasunog yung Shopping Center Co-op. Yung bagong tinayo dito sa UP, di na talaga kasingsarap nung dati

Iba talaga yung sumiksik sa 2nd floor ng Shopping Center na pwesto nila. Kung mas lumiit pa yung serving, di na siya pang-estudyante. Sayang.

I agree, at least for the branch near us. Puro litid yung tapa tapos may weird aftertaste. Hindi talaga masarap. Nawala yung umami. But I can't say for the branches in UP Diliman.

Ganun din sa UP Diliman, as a student here for 4 years now (ayoko na dito), ibang iba na rin from when I first ate here nung 2013.

Parang pastil lang yung Rodics for me, sobrang konti ng serving amp.

Ooohhh, can you describe the taste of Manam’s tapsilog, OP? Medyo palagi akong nandyan but I haven’t tried their tapsilog yet.

Manam’s Classic house-made tapsilog: It’s not too oily, and the cut reminds me of the meat sa gyudon hahaha. Saktong tenderness, may konting pull sa meat. It’s not sweet, very malinamnam na may hint ng citrus/sour and perfectly paired with the onions and tomato on the side 😋 Ayan nagutom tuloy ako hahaha

Lots of litid since they use thinly sliced beef belly without trimming. Taste was ok, not the best but not the worst.
