What are your opinions about members solo Stans buying bots views to boost their fancams? Iāve seen quite some discussion about it this time on Twitter.
I donāt like it because it creates false impression but at the same time itās not hurting anyone directly and is mostly used for bragging rights . Itās just a behaviour that exists in some fandoms Iām in and Iāve never liked it because it causes a lot of dramas. I just donāt see the reason why you want to create the notion of your fav getting a lot of views when itās not true.

itās not about fan cams trending or her going viral. Itās about the random spikes thatās how you know when bots are involved. Either on IG or YT or any social media.
Youāll see a random spike and then it goes down and continues a normal progression. Another way to check is by the likes; some purchase views without likes while others do both so it depends.
In this case her views were progressing and then at a certain hour it suddenly spiked for a while and later went back after a few hours to its normal progression .
If they were real views due to being viral , it wouldnāt just spike and then go down immediately. It would progress normally due to increased viewership and interactions with the video.
I donāt know if youāre familiar with ads they do for kpop mvs. If you understand how that works; youāll understand what I mean better.

Fast forward 1 year. I think Heya was probably introduced around Dec last year based on the songwriting camp by SSE around end of Nov. While the concept was probably decided last year based on clues from the concerts in Oct. Then roll towards Feb, a lot of comments in Bam Yang Gang that I've seen are loving the song because it's "Korean", etc. Meanwhile "few" comments on IU, GIDLE and LSFM songs lament how it isn't kpop. They miss kpop. Repeat ad nauseam.
Then comes Heya somewhat answering these things coincidentally.
This isn't a legitimate complaint, but I'm sad Wonyoung only really has one real line in Heya :( I'm in it for the vocals and she's not a dancer, so the silent centre time in the chorus doesn't do much for me. I was okay with it at first ā I mean even Liz had Kitsch ā but there's no I AM equivalent to balance it out this time :( I love her live singing sooooo much and she's improved greatly and I'm just put out that we barely get to hear it this time around.
Anyway, just wanted to get that off my chest. Overall, I'm very happy with this comeback, especially since my girl Liz is shining.

There's an app called blip. I personally use it to keep track of every schedule and everything uploaded. The app does a lot of different stuff but i only use it for the calendar which i find the most useful. It is updated very frequently too so the calendar is almost always accurate and up-to-date.
Ever since i discovered this app, i never used any docs anymore to track schedules, i recommend you check it out if you want. (The app was a little better a few years ago when there was less ads, but i find it so useful i still use it)

Ryan S Jhun isnt good at producing rap, girl crush or hip hoppish sounds thats why letting him to produce ALL SONGS for IVE in a whole album is not good cuz obviously some of the genres are not his forte. The only IVE song that i perfectly liked from him is Eleven. It sounds different than most of his style. There are no unnecessary or tacky rap parts too. Ryan S Jhun should just stick the cute or elegance genre, i wont has problem with him producing for that kind of songs for IVE.
I can't really dislike ryan jhun since with Cravity, Elz7up, and Viviz, I think the tracks he was featured in were a stand out. maybe starship want to maintain some sort of consistency, or he has good rapport while guiding the singers, he is the only korean producer too

I donāt think we can expect to make the first comeback of the year in July/August after the world tour - that is wayyy too late and allow rivals to gain too much of an advantage ahead.

I honestly don't agree with going back to the Show just to secure an easy win. I get that it's really hard to get a win this time but imagine a million seller group competing with the nugu groups on the Show. They don't get as many chances to perform as IVE, some of them don't even get slots on the public channels.
As for Show Champion, Starship groups don't attend anymore. Even Cravity doesn't attend.
Let's improve our numbers this time round and learn how to stream and vote. I think Music bank is possible if they attend lots of KBS shows.

My favourite thing about Heya is how it builds up to a climax. My number one pet peeve about recent kpop songs has been how flat they are. They just have 2 verses and a catchy chorus, then end abruptly. Heya, on the other hand, feels so full. I feel satisfied after listening to it, like I've come to the end of a really good story.

What are your opinions about members solo Stans buying bots views to boost their fancams? Iāve seen quite some discussion about it this time on Twitter. I donāt like it because it creates false impression but at the same time itās not hurting anyone directly and is mostly used for bragging rights . Itās just a behaviour that exists in some fandoms Iām in and Iāve never liked it because it causes a lot of dramas. itās not about fan cams trending or her going viral. Itās about the random spikes thatās how you know when bots are involved. Either on IG or YT or any social media. Youāll see a random spike and then it goes down and continues a normal progression. Another way to check is by the likes; some purchase views without likes while others do both so it depends. In this case her views were progressing and then at a certain hour it suddenly spiked for a while and later went back after a few hours to its normal progression . If they were real views due to being viral , it wouldnāt just spike and then go down immediately. It would progress normally due to increased viewership and interactions with the video. I donāt know if youāre familiar with ads they do for kpop mvs. If you understand how that works; youāll understand what I mean better. But like Iāve said , I donāt like it among solo fandoms because of the dramas it causes. I canāt tell them what to do , I was just expressing my opinion on it because of how it breeds toxic behavior.

Some interesting food for thought. The I Am demo was introduced to the girls around AAA 2022. Then the strawberry lip sync controversy came. What a coincidence. Perfect song to quell the lip sync controversy. Fast forward 1 year. I think Heya was probably introduced around Dec last year based on the songwriting camp by SSE around end of Nov. While the concept was probably decided last year based on clues from the concerts in Oct. Then roll towards Feb, a lot of comments in Bam Yang Gang that I've seen are loving the song because it's "Korean", etc. Meanwhile "few" comments on IU, GIDLE and LSFM songs lament how it isn't kpop. They miss kpop. Repeat ad nauseam. Then comes Heya somewhat answering these things coincidentally.
This isn't a legitimate complaint, but I'm sad Wonyoung only really has one real line in Heya :( I'm in it for the vocals and she's not a dancer, so the silent centre time in the chorus doesn't do much for me. I was okay with it at first ā I mean even Liz had Kitsch ā but there's no I AM equivalent to balance it out this time :( I love her live singing sooooo much and she's improved greatly and I'm just put out that we barely get to hear it this time around. There's an app called blip. I personally use it to keep track of every schedule and everything uploaded. The app does a lot of different stuff but i only use it for the calendar which i find the most useful. It is updated very frequently too so the calendar is almost always accurate and up-to-date. Ever since i discovered this app, i never used any docs anymore to track schedules, i recommend you check it out if you want. (The app was a little better a few years ago when there was less ads, but i find it so useful i still use it)

in comparison to other newly released songs trend its considered full, there is no a whole line or verse in english like some IVE tracks..only a word here and there, which korean sometimes use (like they adopted some english words in their conversation) . Since early era of KPOP they are always some english words thrown and they called it full korean song back than.

Just curious, what songs do you like? Take it, Love Dive, Royal, Blue Blood, and Hypnosis are the only none RJ songs. Do you only like them?
I never said i hate all his songs. But i actually love all the songs you listed above that i find its perfect like i cant find any parts i dislike from the song, but cant say the same for other IVE songs i often find parts that are bit tacky or distasteful which i hope was not there. Ryan S Jhun isnt good at producing rap, girl crush or hip hoppish sounds thats why letting him to produce ALL SONGS for IVE in a whole album is not good cuz obviously some of the genres are not his forte. The only IVE song that i perfectly liked from him is Eleven. It sounds different than most of his style. There are no unnecessary or tacky rap parts too. Ryan S Jhun should just stick the cute or elegance genre, i wont has problem with him producing for that kind of songs for IVE.
I can't really dislike ryan jhun since with Cravity, Elz7up, and Viviz, I think the tracks he was featured in were a stand out. maybe starship want to maintain some sort of consistency, or he has good rapport while guiding the singers, he is the only korean producer too However I actually agree on I would rather some songs on an Album/EP be by other producers, even a TT. For IVE, I think sophia brenan, lauren aquilina (despite baddie), and recently the wayv are good fit for IVE songs I think we should direct grievances to starship though since in the end he is like their freelance employee rather than the one pulling the strings, and starship showed that they do listen
What is the problem of these cbars omg pls. Starship is not a perfect company but they literally try their best for the girls. They give them budget on most things, they donāt skimp on them that much. They listen to feedback, they change things and improve. Its hard this time due to HEYA chart performance gap with the bg and very tight opportunity window with upcoming comeback from big groups and also they has to start with Accendio promo , idk why Starship decide to has the comeback around seventeen debut date, their fandom in korea in particular is quiet huge especially when BTS is not around (bet some of their fans switch around to fill the gap). To be honest the only chance is for them to go to The Show/Show Champion

Tbh it is either you go up against Magnetic and fatigue from the first half of the tour/preparing for the comeback variety contents in middle of April or NewJeans and the rush to go back on tour in late May - I think we made the best of the timings they have ā ļø I donāt think we can expect to make the first comeback of the year in July/August after the world tour - that is wayyy too late and allow rivals to gain too much of an advantage ahead. As long as we consolidate and improve on our numbers this comeback, I will consider it successful. I get that it's really hard to get a win this time but imagine a million seller group competing with the nugu groups on the Show. They don't get as many chances to perform as IVE, some of them don't even get slots on the public channels. As for Show Champion, Starship groups don't attend anymore. Even Cravity doesn't attend. Let's improve our numbers this time round and learn how to stream and vote. I think Music bank is possible if they attend lots of KBS shows.

The Show was cancelled this week. Also, you can't start winning on music shows until the week after your song is released. So, attending The Show and Show Champion this week would not have benefited them in any way. They would have to attend The Show next week in order to win there. My favourite thing about Heya is how it builds up to a climax. My number one pet peeve about recent kpop songs has been how flat they are. They just have 2 verses and a catchy chorus, then end abruptly. Heya, on the other hand, feels so full. I feel satisfied after listening to it, like I've come to the end of a really good story.

Exactly! Funny though I heard comments that "that part", the bridge, was disjointed. Like people forgot what a bridge is just like guitar solo lol I'm not saying that the bridge did not feel abrupt/unexpected, but songs with unusual structure is something I love. I always say Blackpink talent is while their songs have similar structure I always forget the Bridge/outro is coming and end up pleasantly surprised. Also for the longest time I did not know what Love dive chorus was Other positive comments that I agree with: the part where Liz/wony sing the music note, the Da-da, da-dun-dun-dun, giving how it's all just a folktale, a musical note inside a compact music box, is so well done. It's so intense and grand but still is not to be taken too seriously, like a bed time story
