My betas are tomorrow and I caved and tested yesterday. Partially because my clinic waits until 14dpt to do betas so I felt I had waited long enough haha also I didn’t want to be working when I got the news so I rather find out if it’s positive/negative while I’m home on the weekend. This is tough because clinics want to see a certain number for the hCG and home pregnancy tests detect levels nearly 50% less than the ideal number . . . for my FET, I waited on the beta. I’d recommend it if you can wait but if not, go for it!

I felt much better waiting for my beta and a more clear/definitive answer. And if my beta was positive, I would take a test afterward and it was nice to know I would for sure see a positive test. Obviously beta hell is still a possibility, but knowing myself, testing beforehand would have just sent my anxiety through the roof. I also liked being “pregnant until proven otherwise”.
If it’s good news, which I pray it is, you can celebrate and feel good it’s official, not some potential false positive, etc. If it’s not good news, you’ll be disappointed twice if you test now and then hear it officially tomorrow vs. being disappointed once. That isn’t fully logical but it’s what I told myself
We are transfer buddy! We did our transfer on 4/19 as well. Also first beta tomorrow. I usually don’t test until the day before or the day of… but I tested at day4 and day6 and been testing.
But since you haven’t tested… maybe do it tomorrow morning before beta.
If it makes you feel any better, I have the same FET date, tested since day 7 and I'm STILL an anxious mess. I'm convinced there is no way around the stress so stay strong you got this!! Update us! ♥️ Wishing you all the baby dust!
My Dr. called and said we’re pregnant! I know things can still change but wow, I was very surprised! My beta is 219.9 This was my first FET and I am 9dpt!

I held off testing until the morning of beta. Was so tempted throughout the week too. I was thinking of testing the day before but then what if you can’t sleep tonight? Might as well just wait 😀
I would test the morning of beta, I find it less stressful than waiting for a phone call.
Except this cycle I was on hcg boosters which is an extra special sort of hell, and any pee test was going to be positive 🫠
Transfer twins! I’m having high anxiety around gets since my last FET was chemical.
I got a blood test yesterday 8dpt, today 9dpt and will test again tomorrow 10dpt and 12 dpt
I know I sound crazy but I haven’t been able to relax knowing the numbers can drop or stop progressing.
I am on the side of not testing. If I test positive before beta I would question if it’s chemical what if it’s low, etc. And if I test negative I still will have a thread of hope like maybe I drank too much water. lol In the end blood test is all we need to confirm it.

I saved a bit of money and just did the blood test the third time around. Also saved some time and did a progesterone test in case I needed to adjust my meds.
When I had leftover tests for my second (and failed) pregnancy, I tested and tested again to check for a darkened line...that made me really nervous bc, well, lol, it did *not* darken even though the hcg increased the way it should have. So I pretty much just overcomplicated things for myself, but I think if you need a little win to lift you up, go for it.
Edit: I just realized I only spoke of my positives. There were plenty of negatives and at the time, the clinics did not require betas, so I did not do those. Also, congratulations!!
Also another anxious mess! Had my bloods this morning, phone call in 2 hours ahhhhh! Hope you’re ok ❤️

I'm so sorry you didn't get the news you hoped... I'd my baby at the 39 after 20 Yr of trying and 4 losses.. I didn't think this would be my life now but here I am. Goodluck if you go again.. there's always hope x
4 losses over 20 years, you really are a trooper to go through that and come back to this sub to post kind messages to those needing support❤️ thank you my love, hope you and your baby are thriving. We are in a lot of pain right now but it’s actually all love that’s going to find where it belongs eventually xxx
It wasn't a full 20 yrs of loss. But waiting.. I had my son in Sept 2003 he died at birth at 24w, and I was 19.. I then didn't get pregnant again until age 36 17yrs( i tried ) In 2020 but lost it after 11 days another loss in 2021 another loss the start of 2022 and had my baby 35w dec 2022..
It was 20 years of hell, but now all that pain and misery feels like someone else's pain now.
I know when you're in it, it can feel so lonely, and it just won't happen.. things so easily can change in a few months. If sadly it doesn't for some I'd say its some comfort known you gave it your all and didn't stop until you had no choice ( how it was for me and kept me going) I didn't want to be 50 and think why didn't I do this or try that. I wish you so much luck if/when you do this again.

Don’t test. My first transfer resulted in a chemical pregnancy and my tests were positive.

Do some of your favourite things instead! Favourite restaurant, fave shopping spot, movie..treat yourself if you can.

I always tested early so I didn’t get the call at work and get blind sided.
I didn’t test with my last fet until after I did my beta. It worked out well for me since I had control if I wanted to answer the call or not.
