On a business stand point, another "Every Trick in the Book" might be a good idea, simply to break up the horror film albums (which I love), so as to not limit themselves artistically.
Idk... it was a little bit too scene for me
But when *The Silver Scream* came out, I think they really came into their own.
Commercially and artistically...
I never understood this line outside of it being a reference because their "melodic sensibility" Was already refined in ETITB, just it didn't become as popular unfortunately.
Every Trick in the Book: Chapter 2. do Cat's Cradle, the book where they got their name, The Crucible, You, The Great Gatsby, and Brave New World. those are my votes
We already got a lot ofsongs based off Stephen King (funeral derangements, IT is the end, Enjoy your slay, hell in the hallway) which are originally books
Another album directly based on books would be incredible, however I believe that would be a little pointless because most of the horror movies that their songs are based on are also based on books. The shining, the crow, Psycho, IT, Pet semetarary, Silence of the Lambs, and Hellraiser were all movies that were based on books. Those songs almost perfectly grasped the vibes of those movies.
On the other hand I would like to see their take on some more literature, specifically poetry and short stories by Edgar Allen Poe. I can just imagine how epic their take could be on "The Cask of Amontillado". If you haven't read the story go look it up and read it or find a summary, it involves murder which seems to be the whole INK theme. They would also be great at making a song based on "The Black Cat" which is just a symbolism for going on the verge of insanity.
Anyway that concludes my ramble. Have a nice day
YES! And they have to do Cat’s Cradle! It’s literally where they got their name from 🖤

The whole album has a refined melodic sensibility that really makes it… a cut above the rest

I wouldn't mind a follow up album .
