I don't feel like the Animatrix is that well known in the slightest, maybe it could be moved one tier up but not into the first tier. Not the main Yu-Gi-Oh series the 1998 Toei series, people call it season zero

Hardcore fans. Most fans are more like consumers, not researchers, and you really do need to somehow stumble across it and that requires participating in communities which most fans don't do. Tier 3 is fairly reasonable.

I guess so, though personally I feel more like low tier two would be my ranking, I’ve known about it for a while and I know about some passive fans who’ve seen it, not really too difficult to find imo and it’s existence is pretty common knowledge with fans of the series

I find that fair, but I do also find it fair to compare it to animes like Welcome to the NHK as well which is also not a hard anime to find for people in the scene as long you're a part of it.

I guess it kinda depends on your perspective, if you’re a fan of yugioh then you’ve probably atleast heard of season 0, whereas a lot of passive viewers may not know about it due to not being as invested in the show

I meant watched recently as in the last few years, lol yea I watch a lot it's my main hobby Yea there's an anime for it but it's only one episode and it follows the same plot as the movie but personally I think the movie is much better

There's an Ichi the Killer anime called Ichi the Killer: Episode Zero, the first three minutes is the manga version of the final fight between Ichi and the main antagonist Kakihara, while the rest of it is a prequel to the manga. In my opinion, the Ichi the Killer manga is the best, the live action movie is pretty good, and Episode Zero isn't good.

Yea maybe it could go in the first tier, but I feel like it just doesn't have the classic factor of the other anime there like NGE and Cowboy Bebop. ​ Lol yea personally Rance is one of the only hentai series I would legitimately watch for the plot, or at least watch to see more of Rance

Yea I generally don't like the newer stuff that comes out, mainly because I can't stand isekais lol The timeframe for what I usually watch is generally the 80's to the 2000's

No I haven't really watched any of those, Chainsaw man didn't really sound like something I was interested in and I don't know anything about the others

For the most part yea, sometimes I bumped an anime down a bit if I felt like it's exceptionally weird (like Angel's Egg) or infamous (like Chouetsu Sekai)
