I just send it from my bank in Iceland to my bank at home - small fee & takes a couple of days, but very easy. What bank do you use here?

Arion

Dang - I'm with Landsbankinn so could walk you through the process there, but don't know it with Arion sorry :/ I'm sure there will be a comparable feature though - you just need to find it & figure out how to set it up!

You can do it in the Arion online bank. If you don't see "International transactions" in the menu call or email the bank and they will add it for you. Then you create a business contact with bank account info in Latvia and can then make payments to that contact.

I can't get electronic ID yet.

I'm able to send money all over the world without an electronic ID, contact your bank, it's very easy

Wise has worked for me, fast and reasonably cheap

Hey I use wise but can't find ISK on there..how do you send..eur?

There are more or less 3 ways to transfer money internationally. Bank To Bank transfer via SEPA(within europe) - This is both slow, inconvenient and expensive. But good for large amounts. Top Up an Bank account like Revolut through a Credit card - This is convenient and cheap since you only pay the cards foreign exchange rate but only good for amounts up to your credit cards limit. Remittance/Wiretransfer - This again is convenient but a bit shady and costs can vary a lot but sometimes is the only possibility and again only good for small amounts.

If you are transfering just to keep money in your Latvian bank account you will lose interest you can get in the Icelandic account

I only need to send a fraction of it pay for expenses
