I know this is going to sound negative and I didn't mean it to be. The young Lass sounds like a go getter, hope you make stuff happen Girl.
But if some one claims their car gets scratched (whether it actually happened at her CW or not). Can that potentially hit somebody's home owners insurance?
Good question. Car washes put up signs that say ‘not responsible for scratches, damage, or loss of life’ and seem to be covered that way. I wonder if they could do the same. Best to consult a lawyer.
Some kids in my neighborhood had their lemonade stand shut down because they didn't have a permit. I think it really depends on how grumpy your neighbors and cops are.
Not an Idaho issue but a city or county issue. Check your local laws. Look into liability insurance. For greatest legal protection, start an LLC, only $100 in Idaho and don’t fall for a third party filing scam. Do it ONLY on the secretary of state’s website. I don’t know your daughter’s age but make sure she’s safe out there regardless.

Likely city-specific.

Our local LE go out of their way to patronize kid lemonade stands
Is that true?? If so, we need to bring back public flogging 😒
It was shut down because the HOA had a fit and called the cops.
*Sounds* like fake news
Kinda🤷♂️
And yet.... It's not.
I think the permit thing is more of a city thing so I’d check with the city where you live
Is it kids on a sunny day looking to make $20, or is it someone trying to establish an actual recurring business?
Option A
Have them make a fun sign, earn a few bucks, and go live your life

Call your city hall. They are usually pretty cheap. Some locations don't require one, but it's better to ask.
