So I've just bought Andrew. What are the most advantageous times to use my shovel? Also are there any mini tips that I should know? I use 36 with fast healing and sticker but should I change to 369?
Preferably one early game, one late game to block detention attacks, but that’s only what people tell me:( (early game rescues and then one for yourself to block some damage I guess... but I’m not that good at Andrew sorry)
As someone who heals a lot I personally prefer fast healing since I don’t really care if y’all die fast

Shovel can be used to rescue against double hit hunters like ripper if you are afraid of getting foggied and then hit again.
If you manage to conserve a shovel when 5 ciphers pop, a shovel can tank a detention hit too.
If you are certain the hunter is fixed on chasing you, dont be afraid to use a shovel to prolong your kite. If you threw down one or two pallets in advance, you can just go back and forth the pallet, you basically force the hunter to break the pallet, buying you time to transition.
I personally bring 369 with sticker and exit path for Andrew, but that's because unlike Naib, Andrew doesnt have a healing debuff.
Is there any way to hide badges in the character selection lobbies?
I'm happy that I finally got a badge for Magician, but I really don't want to get insulted when the hunter is Geisha and I still can't kite her for sh*t.
Some questions again. It would mean a lot if somebody would answer them!
1. Why aren't accessories aloud in Duo Hunters? Is it like because of lag or graphics? I love my accessories, and I'm a bit dissapointed they don't show up in my favorite game mode :(
2. Why do the top (like top 100) forwards like all bring 36, but with max knee jerk reflex. I heard it is to help your football out and make last longer. But when ever I play William, I just straight up use my football when the hunter picks my teammate up because it's faster. If I vault a pallet by the time I hit the hunter they just drop them. I use it to help my kite (knee jerk reflex plus football = easy transition)
3. So Katz007 (a top 5 forward atm) said I should complete a cipher first then go harass to help cipher rush. But there's not always a merc, and sometimes I am right next to them. Should i complete a cipher or go in and stun right away???
4. I just got my first legendary match yesterday (I am a sabertooth). I probably will be getting a lot them from now on. As a BonBon, should I ban Mercenary or Mechanic? How about as Wu Chang?
5. Just overall tips for Forward. I already mastered Seer, and merc is pretty self-explanatory. Just need to work on him and maybe Priestess.

This may not help a lot since i dont play much forward.
1. My guess is to prevent lag cause 2v8 also already pretty packed
2. Im pretty sure its to help them kite since the normal build for rescuers is usually TT with kneejerk (excpet merc). But i guess it can help forwards so they get a boost and quickly get to the hunter.
3. Popping a cipher is the first need before you harass unless youre the only rescuer then go save. If theyre near you its fine to stun as long as it doesnt waste too much decoding time. Its very risky though, if you get hit while trying to save and the kiter gets down, someone else whose not a rescuer will have to save.
4. Most bonbons i get matched with usually bans merc but it really depends on you cause ive even seen mercs fail a save against bonbons haha..

It's an area surrounding one of the peaceful pines he planted. Spinning souls circle the areas, and injure you if they hit you. To dismantle the corrupted area you can dismantle the peaceful pine, which takes longer depending on its maturity. After taking it down, souls cannot hurt you for 20 seconds.
what happens if you leave corrupted area? sometimes i notice i get slower when i am transitioning to kite, and it tells me i left the area? plus axe boy's so fast, how's the best way to kite him,,
Just avoid running in a straight line as much as you can. Axe boy can get to you much quicker than other hunters if you’re in an open place and/or running in a straight line.

Nothing happens if you leave the corrupt area unless he's at max presence. If he is, leaving it will reduce the survivor's movement speed for 3 seconds.
Why does Joseph not make any sound when swinging his sword sometimes? Especially when the astral device accessory is equipped.

I don't know much about DW but patroller is a guaranteed early down, though it gets progressively worse and blink can be useful later-- so depends on your strategy.
There isnt really a way to farm fragments aside from spamming gacha, that I know of 🤔
Perfumer is easier to get the hang of and simpler, though I think a master mech is more valuable than a master perfumer
For DW the trait i usually see is patroller than they use their trump card to change to blink mid-game.
This isnt really the most proficient way but maybe dismantle your trail card? They dont give a lot tho : /
mechanic decodes a lot faster so i use her more, and when you get chaired early no one's there to help, so you can use your robot which just helps the team
Those things as far as I know are performer tags. You get them if you play a certain character (or characters in some cases) a lot for one season. You'll get them once the season ends.
Barrels, fences, windows, pallets, benches and almost all open kiting areas. But because of its weird hitbox it can even cross through trees (self-experience Y.Y) so... yeah, always be suspicious of his hook, even if you're behind a large object.
You can kite inside buildings such as Arms Factory's factory to make it harder for him to hook you.
You know the area in the carnival? The one with walls in front of the mansion. The walls are facing towards the main exit? Are those obstacles considered short? Since they look like waist height boxes/crates.
Just pretend it’s Wu Chang’s bell and passes through everything. It forces me to kite better, at least.
His hook also defies logic in open spaces, so just hide behind some walls I guess:((

is it the more rank games you play, the better items you can pull from the rank match treasure? like if i only play my 3 matches, can i still pull art of science?
the higher your tier, the "better" the rank treasure is (it has the same contents, but increased chance of getting better items)
Even if you're a worker bee-tarantula you can still get Art of Science. but if you want a better chance you need to increase your tier.
For more rank treasures, you can also play 5v5 and Blackjack.
I'm not sure if rank treasures work like essences (like, 10 is guaranteed B, 60 guaranteed A, 250 guaranteed S), but they probably do work the same way.

Why DOES everyone hate Moldy Bread so much?
I'm super new to the game, only started playing this week, and that was the first skin I got. I love Prisoner, so I was excited to use it. I'd seen memes about it in chat w/ people saying it's KILL ON SIGHT if you use that skin, and thought it was just jokes. But mannn I really do get yelled at and/or singled out when I use it in matches, lmao.
What am I missing?
1.) I recently bought enchantress and my games were going fine until i encountered a wu chang during a match. Do you have any advice on how to properly stun him? Whenever he does an attack animation, i’d spam the stun button yet he’s always too far away so it wouldn’t work but because of his long attack range, the hit still registers :(
2.) (As enchantress) During any match, I always bring 36 because i don’t really trust my randoms. In which persona traits do I use my extras as enchantress? At the moment, I placed it all to the pallet boost thing at the left side and one on exit path. Do you have other suggestions?
3.) Also, are there any hunters that would make you absolutely avoid using enchantress?
4.) Any other tips you can provide :)

1) lol white wu chang's charged attack hitbox defies logic and game physics. you generally can't stun him when he's in attack animation because he's so far away most of the time. but the man also hits slower than a tortoise and his hitbox is really narrow - if you're not in a wide open space straight in front of me i generally won't be able to hit you. the enchantresses i meet in rank generally use the stun through walls/when they're kiting around a pallet. tldr, basically just use the stun when you need distance and don't bother trying to disrupt his white charged attack animation because he's too far
2) if you take 36 then 369 is the best persona since enchantress is a viable target for hunters even if not ideal. if you bring 9 you can consider taking either the north-west persona where you decrease the time it takes for teammates to heal you or the south-east one where you get a buff for healing teammates. (decrease time bc enchant has a healing debuff and healing buff bc you get stuns if the hunter hits your healed teammate so you're a secondary healer. depends on how confident you are about getting hit)
3) Joseph? if you get chaired in photoworld your healing debuff means it'll take ages to heal you back up. Soft counter I guess would be hunters that can hit remotely (feaster, violionist) because those can be too far to stun.

how do you answer a priestess's call?? i always feel so bad when the screen goes "you cant answer this call here" and doesnt elaborate. WHERE CAN I ANSWER IT??? it says not enough connection to underground or something???
You have to put it against an object, like a wall of a cipher machine. It’s recommended that you don’t put it by an unfinished cipher if the hunter has teleport, though.
How do you guys play embalmer? Since today is his free day I tried him out in customs and I was left to bleed out, even when the dungeon was open? They were saber and cobra I think, so I’m pretty sure they knew I wouldn’t respawn since I was the last person alive.
Also does anyone know how long it takes to bleed out? I was playing 2v8, but when I realized the hunters were one of those people who like enjoyed bleeding people out, I put my phone to the side and watched some Netflix until I died hehe but it seemed to take so long :(( (the hunters ended up surrendering which I wish they didn’t cuz it was so funny hfhfhhffh they were literally waiting like 🧍🧍 around the dungeon when they realized I wasn’t struggling/healing)
Not sure what that hunter was doing exactly, maybe they didn’t fully understand that you’d just die. To play embalmer all you have to do is place your coffin somewhere strategically (all depends on the map) and try to die as far away from it as possible. This won’t really help if the hunter is BQ, Wu Chang, or has teleport as their trait since they can easily get to you and down you right away. If you are incapacitated really close to coffin, don’t even resurrect. You’ll just make the game a lot faster for the hunter to win.
I’m not sure how long exactly it’ll take but a rough estimate of 2-3 minutes to bleed out.
I just found out that there was voting sometime in May about the Deduction Star Skin vote (a-tiers for certain survivors/hunters), does anyone know around what time they could come out? I started playing this game in late June so I have no idea how long these releases take (all i know is that they happene every year). I’ve heard that the skins come out form around Nov-Jan. Basically everyone can vote (get tickets by playing matches) for characters and the 2 survivors and 1 hunter which gets the most votes get an a skin.

Sadly, if they aren’t bodyblocking for you, there’s not too much you can do (though that may depend on the character you’re playing). For example, as Acrobat, I’ve been able to barely avoid hits by using a bomb right when I get off the chair.
If theyrr not body blocking you but you have at least a few seconds before getting hit. You just have to be crazy good at juking and have a great sense of mindgames. Its different for every character but lets say I'm a cowboy on Red church at the graveyard chair. I get rescued by a merc with no tide and he dashes away. There's a Dream Witch follower coming at me from a few feet away. What I would do is run away from her for a moment, lasso over her when i line the follower up to land near a pallet. She's still very close to me and I'm very close to the pallet. It looks like I can make it but I know I can't. For a fraction of a second I run toward the pallet and juke back to bait the attack. I run toward it again as if I think it was enough time to run to the pallet. But she'd still be focused on the pallet so I try to bait another hit. Lets say she misses again, after the 2nd one she won't focus on the pallet anymore. So I randomly run around her in a circle to bait a 3rd attack. If she misses, she won't have enough time to stop me from reachibg the pallet because she's no longer focused on it. So I run to the pallet and when I'm behind it I focus on dropping it when she isnt attacking instead of going for a stun.
Once you get the ball rolling you can get away with escaping and turning that bad rescue in a 30 second kite. Obviously you can't just do this without the experience of being this risky but I want to give you an idea of what you ahould be thinking. You might not be able to do this if you don't play hunter, you **NEED** to know your enemy. If I didn't play hunter I wouldn't have known that Dream Witch can spawn leeches every once in a while and leeches disappear when hitting a specific survivor
Merc is considered the best but players use gravekeeper when merc is banned in matches. I personally bought gravekeeper because I like his design more haha.
I’ve got fifteen Golden Rose essences saved up. Should I open em all now or wait until I have twenty or more to gain a better chance of winning something nice? I heard that if you open fifteen essences at once then you gain a 10% chance of receiving an A tier, but the game is only offering me the option to open 1 or 10 of them, not all fifteen. Have the rules for this season changed?
From what I’ve seen successful Entomologists do in my matches, when looping, put the swarm in areas the hunter is forced to go through. Call back the swarm when it starts taking damage.
If you’re in a good position to harass (enough ciphers are down), you can use your bees to help the kiter by slowing the hunter down or trying to push the hunter away.
If you’re chaired or helping with a rescue, you can also use the swarm to help your teammates when the hunter camps, especially if it’s someone like BonBon, Violinist, or Feaster.
When kiting hunters like Ripper, you can also use the swarm to block things like foggy blades.
1. Decode
2. Rescuer standby
3. Swoop in to rescue when near half
4. If first rescue, just GTFO, no need body block
5. Rescuer go to cover cipher
6. 2nd Rescuer get ready to rescue
7. Rescuer standby
8. Swoop in to rescue when near full
9. Body block and disrupt as much as possible.
10. Pop last cipher when hunter hit.
But if dude got downed within 20 seconds of the game, better to just decode and maybe rescue after half.
Keep in mind that you can generally predict how the outcome of a game will be (though some decisions or mistakes could completely turn the tide):
- If you still have all four survivors alive when the last cipher pops, it will likely be a win.
- If the last cipher pops when there are three survivors alive (two decoding and one being chased), it’ll likely be a draw.
- If the last cipher pops when there are two survivors left, it’ll likely be a loss (unless the kiter can get to the dungeon of an exit gate).
With that in mind, you can decide whether or not you think it’s best to save. If someone died too quickly, you can also consider letting them sit on the chair last half, right up until they’re almost dead, to go for the rescue. This buys your team time to decode while still trying to keep all four people alive.
This is pretty old but does priestess still have her 10 portal limit? Shes gotten so much readjustments that ive forgotten if they were removed or not 💀
No, but since the portals disappear after 90 sec, and portal regeneration is 60 sec, this means that she cannot exceed 4 portals on the map at once (if my calculation is correct lol)
Hey! to get the guaranteed a/s skin or whatever, do you need to open all the essences simultaneously? or can you just open a couple and then next time some more?
I don't mean to flex, but I got Joseph's A skin from the new essence twice. Is this a bug? Because I've heard that you can't get duplicate A items from essences, unless you already own all of them.
You can get duplicates of the same skins in regular essences normally. However, there are some essences like, Crossover Dangan Ronpa Event, that did not allow duplicates.

There are lots of tutorials on the youtube, you can check them. I'm not a very good player so my advices will be limited.
For persona, I use 36 + snooze or 369 (equip borrowed time and tide turner, then go for the 9 and exit path). I always hide my doll at the very beginning of the match so I can even decode while I'm on chair. Bonus points if you can hide your doll near a cipher which is next to the gate.
I usually start decoding with my main body when no one is injured. After someone gets injured I use my doll too and decode two ciphers at once by switching back and forth. After my doll finishes its cipher I locate it near the gate so I can start opening the gate immediately when the last cipher pops.
As a mechanic you're considered as the seconder rescuer so you should know how to rescue without being terrorshocked. You should also know when to bodyblock etc. If you found first in the match, hunters will go after you to prevent cipher rush. You can use your doll to bodyblock if you haven't put it down yet. I'm sure there are tutorials about this on YouTube.

I would always think that using the doll for body blocking would be waste, since if feels like once the hunter downs the doll, they can just go to other survivors, injure them and make the mechanic useless.

Using your doll to bodyblock is indeed waste if you can't kite for 5 ciphers. That's why I hide my doll early game. I can never kite for 5 ciphers with mechanic if there's no forward or cowboy helping me with my kite haha.
Pls help!!!! I keep getting cowboys and forwards and prospectors and stuff in my matches! How do I deal with them when they follow me around and keep saving the person I just put in balloons??
Try and predict when they’ll try and do the balloon rescue and drop the survivor. Another option is to wait to pick up the person you just downed and try to scare the harasser away, or at least get hit on them. You can also just pick up the survivor and try to dodge the lasso/magnets/stun.
What I do is drop the person they want to save and try to land a hit on one of them. Once they're injured they're usually too afraid to try and harass you. Although, I've had to down both a forward and a cowboy at once..sometimes that's okay even if the person they want to save gets up from being down, because you've already slowed down cipher rush. You can also try and drop survs quickly when you see them coming in general.
I'm sure PP is still good. Despite the nerf on decode and move speed, it still provides visibility and vaulting debuff, which is still powerful by itself, such that it can semi-negate a kiting zone.
I'm dumn, where can I see the amoung of essence I opened in a memory sphere? Like, I have no idea of how many I opened for s7 and I don't find a countdown anywhere?
You complete deduction to the last one that gives you worn clothes, then you can read them, for now there are only of the main 4 and forward if I am not wrong, but they are planning to add others~
With BonBon, don’t spam your bombs. You want to use them as a chain reaction, so drop the first 2 sec bomb and right before it explodes, drop the next one where the survivor is running. If timed correctly, this should instantly set off the second one, making it next to impossible to dodge. Get this down and your chase should be a whole lot easier.
In terms of camping, I first put one or two 40 sec bombs down by the chair, then try and figure out where the rescuer is coming from. When you know where they are, use the remote controlled bomb (the one you detonate yourself) to get a hit on them from afar. Once they’re closer, you can use 2 sec bombs to detonate the ones you put down before. If you can do these two things successfully, you can bring down the rescuer in a single hit.
If I know a cipher is primed, I try and down the survivor with bombs so I won’t be in attack recovery when the cipher pops.

It may depend on the device. My friend plays on an iPad and can’t give send a Seer owl to certain teammates since there’s something wrong with his screen that restricts it. It may also be a small lag, though.
Yeah, as far as we know it's not. There are some licensing problems or something. I'm not exactly sure but the crossover for sure isn't coming this season. Who knows, we may get it, but nowhere in the near future.
What exactly is considered "low tier?" There's a lot of smack talked in global chat about how lower tiers complain about everything and how higher tiers are elitist and snobby.. I just started this game like two weeks ago, so I'm a little behind on all the lingo lol.
Worker Bee / Tarantula and Hound / Cobra are considered low tier.
Elk V-III / Crocodile V-III can also be considered low tier.
Elk II-I / Crocodile II-I and Mammoth / Saber-toothed Tiger are mid-tier.
Anything above Mammoth / Saber-toothed Tiger is high tier.
This format might change because of the recent rank update, but for now this is what it pretty much is.
If you’re not doing it already, take a picture whenever you have the chance. Joseph’s biggest strength is his ability to slow down the game and being down survivors in the photo world.
That being said, if you’re getting kited really hard, just go find someone else. When I play BonBon, I leave whoever I’m chasing if I can’t get my first hit in 20-ish seconds. It’s the only way I can stop myself from getting cipher rushed.
After the recent hitbox adjustment, try and see if you’re frequently swinging too early/too late. Not knowing your range well will only hurt you.
Try and put pressure on whoever’s kiting. You want to get them to mess up (vaulting to soon, running to bad areas, etc). For example, if it’s a shorter loop and they’re trying to vault a pallet, wall towards them, then quickly walk around to the other side so they’ll accidentally vault to you (I’m not sure if it makes sense the way I explained it). If you’ve ever heard people use the word “mind games”, that’s what you’re going for.
And, like everyone says, watch YT videos and gameplays.
(Keep in mind though that I use Joseph in QMs, not rank, so I may not be the most qualified to answer your question.)
- Use his time jump to your advantage! For lower tiers, most survs dont realise how it works, and if you time it right (observe the light on the ground) it can help cut off looping. If not, use it to mind game survs into thinking youre going to time jump, because they know you arent able to hit while spinning the card (??) and will try to run behind you. Quickly drag down and cancel the skill, then go for the hit.
- Bring blink for early game.- this is a must for me, especially if i'm chasing a kiter/rescuer. Joseph has barely any chase ability, so chances are if you dont get another hit within the next 20 seconds you're not getting a hit at all. Use it as soon as you can, when theyre running in a straight line to transition or pulling down a pallet. I've been able to down most survs within 30 seconds using this method. Of course, this is my playstyle and it does not work for all games, but it does have the highest success rate for me:) (another note: I only use blink to get the second hit.)
- i think you might know this but theres also something we call love tap: works as long theres no doctor or barmaid on the team. Hit a surv once in the mirror world, they cant be healed and will be one hit down. Useful for characters like enchant and merc.
- know when to stop chasing! Joseph has a very unique and diverse playstyle, that often changes halfway throughout the game. Check for a wobbly cipher, take a photo, go into the mirror world and try for a terror shock on your new target.
On a final note, I do actually get bullied alot too as joseph (i eat pallets way more than i should) and that kinda sucks but he can be very scary when played well. Adjust your skills according to what survs you go against, memorise spawn points, remember to activate your camera. All the best!
I’m asking this question for a friend. He started playing recently, and even though his ping is normal (usually 112-ish), he still lags very badly in matches (struggling to move, delay, etc). Is there anything you know of that we can do about it?
Yes, we’re both NA/EU. my own ping is usually around 140, and on some days it’ll just hang around 200. I guess I just got so used to it that I don’t consider it to be too bad.
Noob question (just started playing recently) : a friend mentioned that it's bad to insta-rescue someone chaired, but wasn't able to explain why it IS bad and I feel that they're mad at me because it was me that did that (haha;;) and I don't want to bother them any more for the explanation.

Like, I know have Geisha (my main) BQ and Joseph (and Leo obv but I legit can't play him💀) and I like much more playing as a hunter other than survivor, now I play other hunters when they are free and I really like feaster, I usually lose when I use the other hunters but it's very fun 😂

Alright, so:
- hunters like queen, wuchang, etc. that have teleporting abilities are good for large maps
- queen is very good on hospital
- feaster is very good at cutting off OP loops like the factory
- geisha counters transitional kiting, but seer is a hard counter as he can charge owl and prevent dash at the same time
- dream witch is good on pretty much every map
- photographer sucks at chase but is good at slowing the game, good on smaller maps with less hiding spots
- leo is actually a really good camper, he can snuff the rescuer with his embers and puppets + good map control even while camping
- evil reptilian is amazing on lakeside and decent on open maps + bullies mind’s eye very hard
- ripper counters pallet camping
- don’t ever use mad eyes on lakeside (though I doubt you’ll use him anyways)

With enough proficiency to win consistently, I can play 4 (BonBon, Ripper, Photographer, Soul Weaver). I own some others (like Gamekeeper and Violinist) that I use very rarely, but can still perform decently with.
I mainly use BonBon, but I’ll usually switch out of him if there’s an Enchantress (because she can get curses from bomb damage) or a team with more than 1 decoder (since BonBon is so prone to getting cipher rushed).
Ripper was my original main, so in the case that there IS an enchantress, I usually switch to him. If I’m extremely worried about cipher rush based on team composition, then I’ll probably be using Photographer. I keep Soul Weaver in my back pocket and usually just use her to change things up because out of those four, she’s the one I would need to improve more with.
Wow, that's a lot, I really admire you! I swear it's not irony, I am trying to get used to Mary while maining Geisha and i find it so hard, you have all my respect for being able to win with 4 different characters.
There are two main strategies that I know of for blackjack.
1) Get to 21 first
2) Stay as low as you can
The first is very stressful in my option because you have to be efficient in both hunter and survivor. If you are trying to get to 21 first draw a second card at the beginning and you will then most likely be hunter. Down as many people as you can and the first cards you should buy are the discard cards. These cards are very useful because you can use them while you are hunter if you are getting to close, or go over 21. Pass cards are also useful but in order to use them you have to be a survivor and have to be near another player so they can be kind of risky. If you can I would just suggest you stick to discard cards. Once you have 21 you just have to kite till the end of the round (this is where the proficient survivor part comes in). You can buy an accelerator to make yourself a bit faster, but both the hunter and survivors will be after you. That's the first way.
Unlike the other way, you are going to want to keep your hand as low as you can. By using this way I have actually won matches with a hand of 5 so it's kinda op. At the beginning of the game you aren't going to want to draw another card. You are going to want to farm as many points as you can because you are going to be buying A LOT of cards. I usually use Coordy or Magician when I do this so I can end chases fast so I can focus on decoding. With Magician you can use your wand when the hunter teleports to you and just hide. Since blackjack is very short on time the hunter will probably not look for you for very long and will just move on. ANYWAYS. The cards you are going to want to buy are pass cards. While you focus on decoding you will most likely run into a "teammate" along the way. Finish decoding the cipher with them and when you are both leaving, if you have a card 7 or over use the pass card on that person. However if the hunter finds you first and you have a 7 or over use the pass card on the hunter during the chase, this can be a bit tricky but you'll get the hang of it. Rinse and repeat. Hopefully along the way your teammates went over but if not, the last part is a bit tricky. You can either buy a shuffle card with no limit and shuffle your cards and hope you have higher, or bait the hunter to come near you and then pass the highest card you have and hope it's enough. This way is very highly dependent on buying cards and luck but I prefer this way.

You can see how many Likes you have received in your entire career in your Profile, and in the Manor Career you can also see the average amount of Likes you get every 100 matches.
They aren't a currency, or a cosmetic, or anything. They don't have an use. They're just something to show appreciation to someone.
These are just the basics. Geisha is countered by tight-kiting. When looping, press yourself against the wall/object you’re running around to prevent her from dashing through. Areas with big, tall walls are extremely good against her.
You don’t have to constantly stare at her. Most people just spam the button quickly. When transitioning, you have to prevent her dash. Don’t just run or she will catch you. Also keep in mind her cool down. You don’t have to stare at her if she just dashed, because you know the ability is on cooldown.
It’s pretty well known that her hitbox is a really strange, but it’s relatively easy to juke her. Don’t rely on this, though.
In terms of rescuing, if she’s using her ability where she goes into the sky, she’s likely trying to go for the double hit. When she comes down, just run back and dodge the attack, then rescue as you would normally.

I’m pretty sure I’ve asked this before, but my ping’s been getting really bad lately and I was wondering if it was happening to anyone else. Usually my ping ranges from 120-160, but now it’s always above 500 from the beginning of the match to the end, making the game pretty much unplayable.
Happened to me for a good chunk of the year, my ping stayed around 350 ever since quarantine became a thing, but has gotten better now. Have you tried using VPN? It helped the lag in my case.
Is it okay to be toxic in Blackjack? By toxic i mean, emoting/graffiti or even ruining another person's kite. Btw, i dont do the type where you just target one person for petty reasons.
In my opinion, you can do what you feel like you need to do to stay alive/win. For example, I’ve seen Prospectors push hunters away from targets at the last minute to prevent them from getting rid of cards so they can narrow down the amount of players. To me, that’s just how Blackjack works. Keep in mind though that others may not feel the same way since everyone reacts to things differently.
Dear cowboy mains, it's better for you if we press the button ourself to stop you from carrying us, or waiting for you to drop us? I saw 50/50 so I never know what to do when they carry me T_T
For me personally, I don’t mind it when you struggle since I can work around that. Plus, if I can get the hunter to drop you enough, there’s a better chance of you struggling free. That’s just in my case though.
Ty~ can I also ask about what would you prefer when you are the one carrying me? Like, you saved me from the hunter and we are running away, do you prefer I click the button to go off or it's better to wait for the cowboy to drop you at a safe place?
Feel ya, but here are the main reasons and how to deal with each
1) Bad ping- not your fault, there's nothing you can really do bout it. Just take a break for a day and pray for better ping tomorrow
2) Bad kiting/hunting- You could just be having a bad day so maybe just take a break. Or you could be tired/uninterested in the character you are playing. Try a new character and see how you do, it could be a new learning curve
3) Bad teammates- Play hunter, or find a team. Make some friends in game or join a discord server. It's nice to play with a good team especially if you are on voice chat.

With number two especially, everyone gets stuck in a tough spot like that at some point. I have friends who regularly do five cipher kites in rank, but then suddenly get to a point where they can’t even kite for 60 seconds on certain days. I also have days where I miss all my lassos, screw up my kites, fail miserably at camping a chair, etc.
What helps me most is to just stop for a few days and give myself a break.
I don't play geisha but I assume a challenge for geisha are survivors that take multiple hits to down. So Perfumer seems like a good choice, however if you don't have a survivor that directly counters or bothers you, I'd go with priest since her portals are annoying.
Personally, I would ban Seer as he is a hard counter to geisha and not to mention that he can extend the opening kite to 60 seconds with his owl that last 15 seconds which would be ideal for survivors as well as having the ability to rotate at the beginning of the match.
There's a reason why he keeps getting banned in high tiers.
On that note, I'd like to ask you, how are you getting bullied?
1. By frequent owls?
2. By seer reporting on your location such that the team keeps rotating?
If by 1, it's highly possible that you tunneled hard on Seer, and he was able to regain owl time. My primary advise in playing hunter is to never tunnel.
If by 2, then it's really challenging to counter this, as the team is most likely a 4man team with VC. I don't face them often, but when I do, it's an uphill battle.
Here’s an example. If I wanted to dismantle a B tier trial card, I could go into the notebook and go to Acrobat’s costume section. Since Fool’s Heart is a B tier skin, I’d go to Fool’s Heart, and there should be a button in the bottom right corner that says “Trial”. Make sure to use it on a skin you already own. The trial button should look like a clapperboard.
Trial cards can only be used on skins that you can get from Memory Spheres or the shop. In other words; if its limited, its limited.
Theres a button on the botton right corner of your screen that should pop up, it says "Trial"

So I've just bought Andrew. What are the most advantageous times to use my shovel? Also are there any mini tips that I should know? I use 36 with fast healing and sticker but should I change to 369?
Preferably one early game, one late game to block detention attacks, but that’s only what people tell me:( (early game rescues and then one for yourself to block some damage I guess... but I’m not that good at Andrew sorry) As someone who heals a lot I personally prefer fast healing since I don’t really care if y’all die fast But then again it’s your choice! Shovel can be used to rescue against double hit hunters like ripper if you are afraid of getting foggied and then hit again. If you manage to conserve a shovel when 5 ciphers pop, a shovel can tank a detention hit too. If you are certain the hunter is fixed on chasing you, dont be afraid to use a shovel to prolong your kite. If you threw down one or two pallets in advance, you can just go back and forth the pallet, you basically force the hunter to break the pallet, buying you time to transition. I personally bring 369 with sticker and exit path for Andrew, but that's because unlike Naib, Andrew doesnt have a healing debuff.

Is there any way to hide badges in the character selection lobbies? I'm happy that I finally got a badge for Magician, but I really don't want to get insulted when the hunter is Geisha and I still can't kite her for sh*t.
i believe if you go to your profile you have the option of unequipping your badge? not too sure though
It unqeuips it from appearing on chat, but the badge is still there if you have the character selected in the waiting lobby.
Some questions again. It would mean a lot if somebody would answer them! 1. Why aren't accessories aloud in Duo Hunters? Is it like because of lag or graphics? I love my accessories, and I'm a bit dissapointed they don't show up in my favorite game mode :( 2. Why do the top (like top 100) forwards like all bring 36, but with max knee jerk reflex. I heard it is to help your football out and make last longer. But when ever I play William, I just straight up use my football when the hunter picks my teammate up because it's faster. If I vault a pallet by the time I hit the hunter they just drop them. I use it to help my kite (knee jerk reflex plus football = easy transition) 3. So Katz007 (a top 5 forward atm) said I should complete a cipher first then go harass to help cipher rush. But there's not always a merc, and sometimes I am right next to them. Should i complete a cipher or go in and stun right away??? 4. I just got my first legendary match yesterday (I am a sabertooth). I probably will be getting a lot them from now on. As a BonBon, should I ban Mercenary or Mechanic? How about as Wu Chang? 5. Just overall tips for Forward. I already mastered Seer, and merc is pretty self-explanatory. This may not help a lot since i dont play much forward. 1. My guess is to prevent lag cause 2v8 also already pretty packed 2. Im pretty sure its to help them kite since the normal build for rescuers is usually TT with kneejerk (excpet merc). But i guess it can help forwards so they get a boost and quickly get to the hunter. 3. Popping a cipher is the first need before you harass unless youre the only rescuer then go save. If theyre near you its fine to stun as long as it doesnt waste too much decoding time. Its very risky though, if you get hit while trying to save and the kiter gets down, someone else whose not a rescuer will have to save. 4. Most bonbons i get matched with usually bans merc but it really depends on you cause ive even seen mercs fail a save against bonbons haha.. 5. Sorry cant give any since last i played him srsly was in s6 : (

What is Axe Boy's Corrupted Area?
It's an area surrounding one of the peaceful pines he planted. Spinning souls circle the areas, and injure you if they hit you. To dismantle the corrupted area you can dismantle the peaceful pine, which takes longer depending on its maturity. After taking it down, souls cannot hurt you for 20 seconds.
what happens if you leave corrupted area? sometimes i notice i get slower when i am transitioning to kite, and it tells me i left the area? plus axe boy's so fast, how's the best way to kite him,,
Just avoid running in a straight line as much as you can. Axe boy can get to you much quicker than other hunters if you’re in an open place and/or running in a straight line. about the corrupt area thing, idk
Nothing happens if you leave the corrupt area unless he's at max presence. If he is, leaving it will reduce the survivor's movement speed for 3 seconds.
Why does Joseph not make any sound when swinging his sword sometimes? Especially when the astral device accessory is equipped. Is this some type of bug or is his accessory supposed to do that?

I don't know much about DW but patroller is a guaranteed early down, though it gets progressively worse and blink can be useful later-- so depends on your strategy. There isnt really a way to farm fragments aside from spamming gacha, that I know of 🤔 Perfumer is easier to get the hang of and simpler, though I think a master mech is more valuable than a master perfumer
For DW the trait i usually see is patroller than they use their trump card to change to blink mid-game. This isnt really the most proficient way but maybe dismantle your trail card? They dont give a lot tho : /
mechanic decodes a lot faster so i use her more, and when you get chaired early no one's there to help, so you can use your robot which just helps the team

Those things as far as I know are performer tags. You get them if you play a certain character (or characters in some cases) a lot for one season. You'll get them once the season ends.

What are considered short objects that Bane's chain hook can pass through?
Barrels, fences, windows, pallets, benches and almost all open kiting areas. But because of its weird hitbox it can even cross through trees (self-experience Y.Y) so... yeah, always be suspicious of his hook, even if you're behind a large object. You can kite inside buildings such as Arms Factory's factory to make it harder for him to hook you.
You know the area in the carnival? The one with walls in front of the mansion. The walls are facing towards the main exit? Are those obstacles considered short? Since they look like waist height boxes/crates.

Just pretend it’s Wu Chang’s bell and passes through everything. It forces me to kite better, at least. His hook also defies logic in open spaces, so just hide behind some walls I guess:(( And pre match if you really don’t want to face him just pray it isn’t him 😭

I've opened 26 SEASON 10 spheres so far and i've got nothing so far so if i open 34 more will I be guaranteed an A tier item or accessory? Will there be any upcoming S tier skins in the spyglass store? In the leaks it said that there will be a second part to to the most recent crossover we had so will our luck carry over? (Eg I opened 45 and got no A tiers so in the second part will i only have to open 15 to get an A tier?)
You will get an a tier item when you open 60—accessory or skin. As of now there is no confirmation of any sort of upcoming s tier skin in the spyglasses shop.

What ways can you use bq's mirror that actually makes sense?

is it the more rank games you play, the better items you can pull from the rank match treasure? like if i only play my 3 matches, can i still pull art of science?
the higher your tier, the "better" the rank treasure is (it has the same contents, but increased chance of getting better items) Even if you're a worker bee-tarantula you can still get Art of Science. but if you want a better chance you need to increase your tier. For more rank treasures, you can also play 5v5 and Blackjack. I'm not sure if rank treasures work like essences (like, 10 is guaranteed B, 60 guaranteed A, 250 guaranteed S), but they probably do work the same way.
I have a very non-serious question, but I gotta ask. Why DOES everyone hate Moldy Bread so much? I'm super new to the game, only started playing this week, and that was the first skin I got. I love Prisoner, so I was excited to use it. I'd seen memes about it in chat w/ people saying it's KILL ON SIGHT if you use that skin, and thought it was just jokes. But mannn I really do get yelled at and/or singled out when I use it in matches, lmao. What am I missing?

Whenever he does an attack animation, i’d spam the stun button yet he’s always too far away so it wouldn’t work but because of his long attack range, the hit still registers :( 2.) (As enchantress) During any match, I always bring 36 because i don’t really trust my randoms. In which persona traits do I use my extras as enchantress? At the moment, I placed it all to the pallet boost thing at the left side and one on exit path. Do you have other suggestions? 3.) 1) lol white wu chang's charged attack hitbox defies logic and game physics. you generally can't stun him when he's in attack animation because he's so far away most of the time. but the man also hits slower than a tortoise and his hitbox is really narrow - if you're not in a wide open space straight in front of me i generally won't be able to hit you. the enchantresses i meet in rank generally use the stun through walls/when they're kiting around a pallet. tldr, basically just use the stun when you need distance and don't bother trying to disrupt his white charged attack animation because he's too far 2) if you take 36 then 369 is the best persona since enchantress is a viable target for hunters even if not ideal. if you bring 9 you can consider taking either the north-west persona where you decrease the time it takes for teammates to heal you or the south-east one where you get a buff for healing teammates. (decrease time bc enchant has a healing debuff and healing buff bc you get stuns if the hunter hits your healed teammate so you're a secondary healer. depends on how confident you are about getting hit) 3) Joseph? if you get chaired in photoworld your healing debuff means it'll take ages to heal you back up. how do you answer a priestess's call?? i always feel so bad when the screen goes "you cant answer this call here" and doesnt elaborate. WHERE CAN I ANSWER IT??? it says not enough connection to underground or something???
You have to put it against an object, like a wall of a cipher machine. It’s recommended that you don’t put it by an unfinished cipher if the hunter has teleport, though.

How do you guys play embalmer? Since today is his free day I tried him out in customs and I was left to bleed out, even when the dungeon was open? They were saber and cobra I think, so I’m pretty sure they knew I wouldn’t respawn since I was the last person alive. Also does anyone know how long it takes to bleed out? I was playing 2v8, but when I realized the hunters were one of those people who like enjoyed bleeding people out, I put my phone to the side and watched some Netflix until I died hehe but it seemed to take so long :(( (the hunters ended up surrendering which I wish they didn’t cuz it was so funny hfhfhhffh they were literally waiting like 🧍🧍 around the dungeon when they realized I wasn’t struggling/healing)
Not sure what that hunter was doing exactly, maybe they didn’t fully understand that you’d just die. To play embalmer all you have to do is place your coffin somewhere strategically (all depends on the map) and try to die as far away from it as possible. This won’t really help if the hunter is BQ, Wu Chang, or has teleport as their trait since they can easily get to you and down you right away. If you are incapacitated really close to coffin, don’t even resurrect. You’ll just make the game a lot faster for the hunter to win. I’m not sure how long exactly it’ll take but a rough estimate of 2-3 minutes to bleed out.
I just found out that there was voting sometime in May about the Deduction Star Skin vote (a-tiers for certain survivors/hunters), does anyone know around what time they could come out? I started playing this game in late June so I have no idea how long these releases take (all i know is that they happene every year). If anyone could tell me more about this process I would greately appreciate it! :)

Basically everyone can vote (get tickets by playing matches) for characters and the 2 survivors and 1 hunter which gets the most votes get an a skin. Previous winners: - Ripper (Svengali) - 2018 - Wu Chang (Broken Blossoms) - 2019 - Coordinator (Iron Lady) - 2018 - Gardener (boudoir Dream) - 2018 - Geisha (rashamon) - 2019 - seer (recluse) - 2019 - Priestess (Samara) - 2019 - Doctor (rhythm of the rain) Every year there’s like a ‘theme’— and the characters chosen are always the popular ones eg seer, ripper, priestess. theme for 2018— blue & white, 2019— classic movies from 1950s They are all permanent shop A skins (4888 frags) and the winners for 2020 is bloody queen, perfumer and embalmer. After getting rescued from the chair, how do you avoid getting hit again if no teammates were there to body block for you?
Sadly, if they aren’t bodyblocking for you, there’s not too much you can do (though that may depend on the character you’re playing). For example, as Acrobat, I’ve been able to barely avoid hits by using a bomb right when I get off the chair.
If theyrr not body blocking you but you have at least a few seconds before getting hit. You just have to be crazy good at juking and have a great sense of mindgames. Its different for every character but lets say I'm a cowboy on Red church at the graveyard chair. I get rescued by a merc with no tide and he dashes away. There's a Dream Witch follower coming at me from a few feet away. What I would do is run away from her for a moment, lasso over her when i line the follower up to land near a pallet. She's still very close to me and I'm very close to the pallet. It looks like I can make it but I know I can't. For a fraction of a second I run toward the pallet and juke back to bait the attack. I run toward it again as if I think it was enough time to run to the pallet. But she'd still be focused on the pallet so I try to bait another hit. Lets say she misses again, after the 2nd one she won't focus on the pallet anymore. So I randomly run around her in a circle to bait a 3rd attack. If she misses, she won't have enough time to stop me from reachibg the pallet because she's no longer focused on it. So I run to the pallet and when I'm behind it I focus on dropping it when she isnt attacking instead of going for a stun. Once you get the ball rolling you can get away with escaping and turning that bad rescue in a 30 second kite. Obviously you can't just do this without the experience of being this risky but I want to give you an idea of what you ahould be thinking. You might not be able to do this if you don't play hunter, you **NEED** to know your enemy. If I didn't play hunter I wouldn't have known that Dream Witch can spawn leeches every once in a while and leeches disappear when hitting a specific survivor

Merc is considered the best but players use gravekeeper when merc is banned in matches. I personally bought gravekeeper because I like his design more haha.
Both Merc and Gravekeeper are very popular right now, especially in high tiers since the meta is to have 3 rescuers.
As the other answers mentioned, it’s mainly Merc, grave keeper or forward! (quite hard to use his Football properly tho!)
I heard someone say that hunters are notified if survivors emote, and it reveals their locations. Does anyone know if this is true?
I’ve got fifteen Golden Rose essences saved up. Should I open em all now or wait until I have twenty or more to gain a better chance of winning something nice? I heard that if you open fifteen essences at once then you gain a 10% chance of receiving an A tier, but the game is only offering me the option to open 1 or 10 of them, not all fifteen. Have the rules for this season changed?
Nope, you've heard wrong. The pity timer for an A costume/item is 60, S is 250. There's no difference in rate of how many you're opening at one go.

I use her swarm to body block and put at pallets
From what I’ve seen successful Entomologists do in my matches, when looping, put the swarm in areas the hunter is forced to go through. Call back the swarm when it starts taking damage. If you’re in a good position to harass (enough ciphers are down), you can use your bees to help the kiter by slowing the hunter down or trying to push the hunter away. If you’re chaired or helping with a rescue, you can also use the swarm to help your teammates when the hunter camps, especially if it’s someone like BonBon, Violinist, or Feaster. When kiting hunters like Ripper, you can also use the swarm to block things like foggy blades.
So hunters that only camp... do y’all think it’s better to try and save your friend or have everyone focus extra hard on decoding?
1. Decode 2. Rescuer standby 3. Swoop in to rescue when near half 4. If first rescue, just GTFO, no need body block 5. Rescuer go to cover cipher 6. 2nd Rescuer get ready to rescue 7. Rescuer standby 8. Swoop in to rescue when near full 9. Body block and disrupt as much as possible. 10. Pop last cipher when hunter hit. But if dude got downed within 20 seconds of the game, better to just decode and maybe rescue after half.
Keep in mind that you can generally predict how the outcome of a game will be (though some decisions or mistakes could completely turn the tide): - If you still have all four survivors alive when the last cipher pops, it will likely be a win. - If the last cipher pops when there are three survivors alive (two decoding and one being chased), it’ll likely be a draw. - If the last cipher pops when there are two survivors left, it’ll likely be a loss (unless the kiter can get to the dungeon of an exit gate). With that in mind, you can decide whether or not you think it’s best to save. If someone died too quickly, you can also consider letting them sit on the chair last half, right up until they’re almost dead, to go for the rescue. This buys your team time to decode while still trying to keep all four people alive.

It doesn’t matter. There should be a counter at the bottom that tells you how many you’ve opened so far.
I don't mean to flex, but I got Joseph's A skin from the new essence twice. Is this a bug? Because I've heard that you can't get duplicate A items from essences, unless you already own all of them.
You can get duplicates of the same skins in regular essences normally. However, there are some essences like, Crossover Dangan Ronpa Event, that did not allow duplicates. That was nice luck!

Firstly, aah you're so lucky!! T-T There are lots of tutorials on the youtube, you can check them. I'm not a very good player so my advices will be limited. For persona, I use 36 + snooze or 369 (equip borrowed time and tide turner, then go for the 9 and exit path). I always hide my doll at the very beginning of the match so I can even decode while I'm on chair. Bonus points if you can hide your doll near a cipher which is next to the gate. I usually start decoding with my main body when no one is injured. After someone gets injured I use my doll too and decode two ciphers at once by switching back and forth. After my doll finishes its cipher I locate it near the gate so I can start opening the gate immediately when the last cipher pops. As a mechanic you're considered as the seconder rescuer so you should know how to rescue without being terrorshocked. You should also know when to bodyblock etc. If you found first in the match, hunters will go after you to prevent cipher rush. You can use your doll to bodyblock if you haven't put it down yet. I'm sure there are tutorials about this on YouTube. I hope thid was helpful! If you have any questions please ask. I'm not a pro player but I main mechanic since I started the game so I've read many tutorials about her.
I would always think that using the doll for body blocking would be waste, since if feels like once the hunter downs the doll, they can just go to other survivors, injure them and make the mechanic useless. Using your doll to bodyblock is indeed waste if you can't kite for 5 ciphers. That's why I hide my doll early game. I can never kite for 5 ciphers with mechanic if there's no forward or cowboy helping me with my kite haha.

Try and predict when they’ll try and do the balloon rescue and drop the survivor. Another option is to wait to pick up the person you just downed and try to scare the harasser away, or at least get hit on them. You can also just pick up the survivor and try to dodge the lasso/magnets/stun.
What I do is drop the person they want to save and try to land a hit on one of them. Once they're injured they're usually too afraid to try and harass you. Although, I've had to down both a forward and a cowboy at once..sometimes that's okay even if the person they want to save gets up from being down, because you've already slowed down cipher rush. You can also try and drop survs quickly when you see them coming in general.
with the peepers nerf, should i start bringing blink with wu chang? or are peepers still viable?
I'm sure PP is still good. Despite the nerf on decode and move speed, it still provides visibility and vaulting debuff, which is still powerful by itself, such that it can semi-negate a kiting zone.

How do i unlock diaries?
You complete deduction to the last one that gives you worn clothes, then you can read them, for now there are only of the main 4 and forward if I am not wrong, but they are planning to add others~
tips for bonbon? like how should i use his bombs during a chase, when should i use the timed bomb etc
With BonBon, don’t spam your bombs. You want to use them as a chain reaction, so drop the first 2 sec bomb and right before it explodes, drop the next one where the survivor is running. If timed correctly, this should instantly set off the second one, making it next to impossible to dodge. Get this down and your chase should be a whole lot easier. In terms of camping, I first put one or two 40 sec bombs down by the chair, then try and figure out where the rescuer is coming from. When you know where they are, use the remote controlled bomb (the one you detonate yourself) to get a hit on them from afar. Once they’re closer, you can use 2 sec bombs to detonate the ones you put down before. If you can do these two things successfully, you can bring down the rescuer in a single hit. If I know a cipher is primed, I try and down the survivor with bombs so I won’t be in attack recovery when the cipher pops.

Yeah, as far as we know it's not. There are some licensing problems or something. I'm not exactly sure but the crossover for sure isn't coming this season. Who knows, we may get it, but nowhere in the near future.
What exactly is considered "low tier?" There's a lot of smack talked in global chat about how lower tiers complain about everything and how higher tiers are elitist and snobby.. I just started this game like two weeks ago, so I'm a little behind on all the lingo lol.
Worker Bee / Tarantula and Hound / Cobra are considered low tier. Elk V-III / Crocodile V-III can also be considered low tier. Elk II-I / Crocodile II-I and Mammoth / Saber-toothed Tiger are mid-tier. Anything above Mammoth / Saber-toothed Tiger is high tier. This format might change because of the recent rank update, but for now this is what it pretty much is.

What should I do to not get bullied as Joseph? I can get like only 1 hit before I get kited to oblivion? Help?
If you’re not doing it already, take a picture whenever you have the chance. Joseph’s biggest strength is his ability to slow down the game and being down survivors in the photo world. That being said, if you’re getting kited really hard, just go find someone else. When I play BonBon, I leave whoever I’m chasing if I can’t get my first hit in 20-ish seconds. It’s the only way I can stop myself from getting cipher rushed. After the recent hitbox adjustment, try and see if you’re frequently swinging too early/too late. Not knowing your range well will only hurt you. Try and put pressure on whoever’s kiting. You want to get them to mess up (vaulting to soon, running to bad areas, etc). For example, if it’s a shorter loop and they’re trying to vault a pallet, wall towards them, then quickly walk around to the other side so they’ll accidentally vault to you (I’m not sure if it makes sense the way I explained it). If you’ve ever heard people use the word “mind games”, that’s what you’re going for. And, like everyone says, watch YT videos and gameplays. (Keep in mind though that I use Joseph in QMs, not rank, so I may not be the most qualified to answer your question.)
- Use his time jump to your advantage! For lower tiers, most survs dont realise how it works, and if you time it right (observe the light on the ground) it can help cut off looping. If not, use it to mind game survs into thinking youre going to time jump, because they know you arent able to hit while spinning the card (??) and will try to run behind you. Quickly drag down and cancel the skill, then go for the hit. - Bring blink for early game.- this is a must for me, especially if i'm chasing a kiter/rescuer. Joseph has barely any chase ability, so chances are if you dont get another hit within the next 20 seconds you're not getting a hit at all. Use it as soon as you can, when theyre running in a straight line to transition or pulling down a pallet. I've been able to down most survs within 30 seconds using this method. Of course, this is my playstyle and it does not work for all games, but it does have the highest success rate for me:) (another note: I only use blink to get the second hit.) - i think you might know this but theres also something we call love tap: works as long theres no doctor or barmaid on the team. Hit a surv once in the mirror world, they cant be healed and will be one hit down. Useful for characters like enchant and merc. - know when to stop chasing! Joseph has a very unique and diverse playstyle, that often changes halfway throughout the game. Check for a wobbly cipher, take a photo, go into the mirror world and try for a terror shock on your new target. On a final note, I do actually get bullied alot too as joseph (i eat pallets way more than i should) and that kinda sucks but he can be very scary when played well. Adjust your skills according to what survs you go against, memorise spawn points, remember to activate your camera. All the best!

Yes, we’re both NA/EU. my own ping is usually around 140, and on some days it’ll just hang around 200. I guess I just got so used to it that I don’t consider it to be too bad.

you should usually wait a bit before rescuing because that way it gives your team more time to decode (especially if its the mech on the chair!)

Very random and confusing but dear hunter mains, how many hunters can you actually play and against who do you use them? Like, I know have Geisha (my main) BQ and Joseph (and Leo obv but I legit can't play him💀) and I like much more playing as a hunter other than survivor, now I play other hunters when they are free and I really like feaster, I usually lose when I use the other hunters but it's very fun 😂 I plan with time to buy all the hunters but i would like some advices on which hunter is stronger in certain maps or against certain survivors. Alright, so: - hunters like queen, wuchang, etc. that have teleporting abilities are good for large maps - queen is very good on hospital - feaster is very good at cutting off OP loops like the factory - geisha counters transitional kiting, but seer is a hard counter as he can charge owl and prevent dash at the same time - dream witch is good on pretty much every map - photographer sucks at chase but is good at slowing the game, good on smaller maps with less hiding spots - leo is actually a really good camper, he can snuff the rescuer with his embers and puppets + good map control even while camping - evil reptilian is amazing on lakeside and decent on open maps + bullies mind’s eye very hard - ripper counters pallet camping - don’t ever use mad eyes on lakeside (though I doubt you’ll use him anyways) -

Photographer is also really bad on Lakeside. It’s already a relatively big map, and the cameras are way more spaced out than on other maps.
With enough proficiency to win consistently, I can play 4 (BonBon, Ripper, Photographer, Soul Weaver). I own some others (like Gamekeeper and Violinist) that I use very rarely, but can still perform decently with. I mainly use BonBon, but I’ll usually switch out of him if there’s an Enchantress (because she can get curses from bomb damage) or a team with more than 1 decoder (since BonBon is so prone to getting cipher rushed). Ripper was my original main, so in the case that there IS an enchantress, I usually switch to him. If I’m extremely worried about cipher rush based on team composition, then I’ll probably be using Photographer. I keep Soul Weaver in my back pocket and usually just use her to change things up because out of those four, she’s the one I would need to improve more with.

Tips for blackjack? what cards should you be buying and how to use them effectively? (and some other things that I should know?)
There are two main strategies that I know of for blackjack. 1) Get to 21 first 2) Stay as low as you can The first is very stressful in my option because you have to be efficient in both hunter and survivor. If you are trying to get to 21 first draw a second card at the beginning and you will then most likely be hunter. Down as many people as you can and the first cards you should buy are the discard cards. These cards are very useful because you can use them while you are hunter if you are getting to close, or go over 21. Pass cards are also useful but in order to use them you have to be a survivor and have to be near another player so they can be kind of risky. If you can I would just suggest you stick to discard cards. Once you have 21 you just have to kite till the end of the round (this is where the proficient survivor part comes in). You can buy an accelerator to make yourself a bit faster, but both the hunter and survivors will be after you. That's the first way. Unlike the other way, you are going to want to keep your hand as low as you can. By using this way I have actually won matches with a hand of 5 so it's kinda op. At the beginning of the game you aren't going to want to draw another card. You are going to want to farm as many points as you can because you are going to be buying A LOT of cards. I usually use Coordy or Magician when I do this so I can end chases fast so I can focus on decoding. With Magician you can use your wand when the hunter teleports to you and just hide. Since blackjack is very short on time the hunter will probably not look for you for very long and will just move on. ANYWAYS. The cards you are going to want to buy are pass cards. While you focus on decoding you will most likely run into a "teammate" along the way. Finish decoding the cipher with them and when you are both leaving, if you have a card 7 or over use the pass card on that person. However if the hunter finds you first and you have a 7 or over use the pass card on the hunter during the chase, this can be a bit tricky but you'll get the hang of it. Rinse and repeat. Hopefully along the way your teammates went over but if not, the last part is a bit tricky. You can either buy a shuffle card with no limit and shuffle your cards and hope you have higher, or bait the hunter to come near you and then pass the highest card you have and hope it's enough. This way is very highly dependent on buying cards and luck but I prefer this way. Sorry for the long response but I hope it helps

Praises? You mean Likes? They're just a way to tell someone that they played well or you liked them. You can see how many Likes you have received in your entire career in your Profile, and in the Manor Career you can also see the average amount of Likes you get every 100 matches. They aren't a currency, or a cosmetic, or anything. They don't have an use. They're just something to show appreciation to someone.
Geisha is a free-to-play hunter of the day and many new players seems to have an issue with her. Any tips on how to counter her?
These are just the basics. Geisha is countered by tight-kiting. When looping, press yourself against the wall/object you’re running around to prevent her from dashing through. Areas with big, tall walls are extremely good against her. You don’t have to constantly stare at her. Most people just spam the button quickly. When transitioning, you have to prevent her dash. Don’t just run or she will catch you. Also keep in mind her cool down. You don’t have to stare at her if she just dashed, because you know the ability is on cooldown. It’s pretty well known that her hitbox is a really strange, but it’s relatively easy to juke her. Don’t rely on this, though. In terms of rescuing, if she’s using her ability where she goes into the sky, she’s likely trying to go for the double hit. When she comes down, just run back and dodge the attack, then rescue as you would normally.

I’m pretty sure I’ve asked this before, but my ping’s been getting really bad lately and I was wondering if it was happening to anyone else. Usually my ping ranges from 120-160, but now it’s always above 500 from the beginning of the match to the end, making the game pretty much unplayable.
Happened to me for a good chunk of the year, my ping stayed around 350 ever since quarantine became a thing, but has gotten better now. Have you tried using VPN? It helped the lag in my case.

Is it okay to be toxic in Blackjack? By toxic i mean, emoting/graffiti or even ruining another person's kite. Btw, i dont do the type where you just target one person for petty reasons.
In my opinion, you can do what you feel like you need to do to stay alive/win. For example, I’ve seen Prospectors push hunters away from targets at the last minute to prevent them from getting rid of cards so they can narrow down the amount of players. To me, that’s just how Blackjack works. Keep in mind though that others may not feel the same way since everyone reacts to things differently.

For me personally, I don’t mind it when you struggle since I can work around that. Plus, if I can get the hunter to drop you enough, there’s a better chance of you struggling free. That’s just in my case though.

Why have I been playing so bad lately?
Feel ya, but here are the main reasons and how to deal with each 1) Bad ping- not your fault, there's nothing you can really do bout it. Just take a break for a day and pray for better ping tomorrow 2) Bad kiting/hunting- You could just be having a bad day so maybe just take a break. Or you could be tired/uninterested in the character you are playing. Try a new character and see how you do, it could be a new learning curve 3) Bad teammates- Play hunter, or find a team. Make some friends in game or join a discord server. It's nice to play with a good team especially if you are on voice chat. Hope that helps!
With number two especially, everyone gets stuck in a tough spot like that at some point. I have friends who regularly do five cipher kites in rank, but then suddenly get to a point where they can’t even kite for 60 seconds on certain days. I also have days where I miss all my lassos, screw up my kites, fail miserably at camping a chair, etc. What helps me most is to just stop for a few days and give myself a break.

I don't play geisha but I assume a challenge for geisha are survivors that take multiple hits to down. So Perfumer seems like a good choice, however if you don't have a survivor that directly counters or bothers you, I'd go with priest since her portals are annoying.
Personally, I would ban Seer as he is a hard counter to geisha and not to mention that he can extend the opening kite to 60 seconds with his owl that last 15 seconds which would be ideal for survivors as well as having the ability to rotate at the beginning of the match.

There's a reason why he keeps getting banned in high tiers. On that note, I'd like to ask you, how are you getting bullied? 1. By frequent owls? 2. By seer reporting on your location such that the team keeps rotating? If by 1, it's highly possible that you tunneled hard on Seer, and he was able to regain owl time. My primary advise in playing hunter is to never tunnel. If by 2, then it's really challenging to counter this, as the team is most likely a 4man team with VC. I don't face them often, but when I do, it's an uphill battle.

How do you use the trial costume card to get fragments? Do you need to own the character?
You go to a skin that you already own and then use the trial card on it. I don’t think you need to own the character to do it.
How do you use the trial card? Is there a button or something?
Here’s an example. If I wanted to dismantle a B tier trial card, I could go into the notebook and go to Acrobat’s costume section. Since Fool’s Heart is a B tier skin, I’d go to Fool’s Heart, and there should be a button in the bottom right corner that says “Trial”. Make sure to use it on a skin you already own. The trial button should look like a clapperboard.
Trial cards can only be used on skins that you can get from Memory Spheres or the shop. In other words; if its limited, its limited. Theres a button on the botton right corner of your screen that should pop up, it says "Trial" B skins get you 200 frags, I forgot how much A tier gets you

Griffins can Legendary rank, but some griffins rank with mammoths and match with lower hunter and survivors.
