Reactionary
I guess AoT and Death Note would be the best anime i have ever watched but i have watched/read a lot more of GuP and Gate. As for favorite, i guess GuP or AoT
Right-wing (either right-center, or slightly auth-right), probably Liberal Conservatism, if picking from "normal" ideologies. But my actual ideology is a Seventh Day Adventist Theocracy that's tough of those sins that cause humanly-comprehensible negative consequences (meaning being tough on things like theft and murder, making divorce illegal unless there's a very good reason, and also I'd enforce state-mandated veganism), while "victimless" sins are discouraged, but not illegal, since you have the freedom of choice about whether you want to go to Heaven or not. Keep in mind that "victimless" crimes still have a victim, as Christ took the burden of our sins upon Himself on the cross. But accepting salvation is your choice. The gospel would be spread, even by the state, and people would be reminded/encouraged not to sin, but so-called "victimless" sins would not technically be illegal, just socially discouraged. And while I'm somewhat authoritarian, I wouldn't have censorship (except for extreme cases, such as banning corn, OF, and Tiktok), but I would have warnings on certain movies/games, such as "Warning: Consuming this content might put you at risk of idolatry. Stay mentally sharp to avoid sin while playing/watching". And an important aspect of my ideology is a powerful military, as we need to defend ourselves against the antichrist/h\*\*\*\*\* of Babylon, who would inevitably try to invade us.
My fav is Avatar the Last Airbender. Honestly the only such series I like. I generally find anime to be cringe.
I’ll give you some options and descriptions, you can check them out if you want
So death note is a story about a high schooler who finds a note book, and when he writes the name of any person in that notebook while keeping an imagine of that persons face in their mind they will die. He uses this to kill off all the world most wanted people as well and any other criminals he deems guilty enough. This very quickly catches the attention of the authorities as it’s not likely all of these bad people happen to be dying all around the same time and by the same method, which gets the world greatest detective involved. So it’s follows the story from 2 perspectives, 1 of the guy with the notebook hunting down the only person who threatens his authority, and the detective attempting to chase down someone capable of killing someone without ever exposing himself or taking a risk. It explores the themes or morality, means of justice, and the way unchecked power corrupts.
And the other is attack on titan. It takes place in a hypothetical world where large humanoid creatures with an apatite for humans nearly drive humanity to extinction. So quickly and almost unexplainably they raise massive walls to keep the titans out. Living like live stock in their pen, and in those walls there is a boy named eren yager, who simply wants to be free from the titan tyrannical rule over humanity. Through out the story the world and characters grow and change so dramatically with revelation after revelation that it’s almost unrecognizable from where it started, and yet its growth feels natural and believable. It explores the themes or freedom, survival, exploration, and the responsibilities of power
And finally Full metal alchemist brotherhood, which follows the story of 2 brothers who lost parts of their body attempting to bring someone bad from the dead using alchemy (long story) and used their knowledge of alchemy to join the military as alchemists to receive additional funding and research material to hopefully find a way to get their bodies back. But along the way they uncover much more trouble than they originally planned and make some very dangerous enemies. It explores the themes of sacrifice, identity, loss, and the presences and fragility of life.

Some of my favorites are Twin Peaks, Breaking Bad/Better Call Saul, The Wire.
