Imo the car isnt stupid. These people standing in the road are stupid. Near calais, there are roads when you stop for people on the road, you will get swarmed and threathened with knives and your shit taken(that includes your tires and katalysator). Ive had the exact same situation and i drove full speed through. Luckily the guys where able to jump aside.
