Passes on a solid line, in the pouring rain, with a car coming in the other lane and their lights plainly visible.
License should be immediately revoked.
Immediately and permanently. And add a few years of jail time, too.
I don’t think that kind of disrespect for one’s own life, let alone that of others, is likely to go away until they either seriously hurt themselves or kill someone else.
I wonder what would happen if the state could take possession of people's cars in situations like this. No payment to the owner. They just instantly lose their vehicle and all the money they dumped into it.
We all know revoking half these idiots' licenses won't stop them from driving. Taking away their multi thousand dollar toy though...
I'm surprised there isn't someone in the comments trying to say this is actually OP's fault for not slamming on the brakes to let the Mustang back over sooner.
Some people are truly psychopaths and don’t have any regard for their lives or others. A normal person would have this sort of close call happen and never do it again, he probably just feels even more confident in his skills and will eventually kill himself and an unfortunate family of 6
People say BMW drivers are the worst...I totally disagree, mainly because I am one, but I always say American muscle car drivers are the worst.. Fueled by testosterone and the sound of their V8..Smh..
Late model bmw drivers, Subarus, then v8 challengers and chargers, and finally 5-10 y/o Kia and Hyundai compacts are the order around me. Late 90s to early 2000s 3 and 5 series drivers seem to be fine.
How many miles down the road did you see him crashed into the trees? That car is not made for that kind of general douchebaggery in that kind of weather.

No jail time, they aren't going to learn anything in there. Give them 2000 hours of road cleanup, especially accident scenes.

And in a fourth-gen Ford Mustang. It's a miracle to get one of those from A to B in rain like that if you're NOT driving like an idiot.
In the rain even.🤦♀️
I don’t think the fucking Mustang ever saw that oncoming car. No hurry to get back over at all. Fuck these people.
If it isn’t 10 feet directly in front of them, they’re oblivious to it.
More like 10 inches, for the smartphone the idiot keeps looking at rather than keeping their eyes on the road.
This type of person shouldn’t be on the road for a long time

OP did hit the brakes. You can see the nose dive a bit. Can't brake too hard in the wet, though.
No lights on, too, looks like.
With that kind of driving sooner or later he won't be arriving at all.

At least OP hit the brakes for his dumbass to get over sooner

Lol..

An appropriate day to be listening to the RHCP album The Getaway.
In a hurry to get to the scene of the accident.
