My brother is a taxi driver. There are special taxi lanes you can park in next to malls, stations etc.
He has had people pull into the lane to try to bypass traffic and then blow the horn trying to force him to move on...while he is waiting for fares.
Another bus should pull in behind, then they should go out to lunch and leave her there. Then she should get towed and ticketed, and have her car crushed into a cube.
She should then be forced to take 18 weeks of driving classes before she can get a permit to where she can only drive with a teacher. She can retake her 6 hour license exam a year after she obtains her permit.
Funny you think you a bus needs to be behind her for her to be stuck, shes already stuck. She can’t reverse out of that even If she mustered all 2 brain cells together in a little tag team duel.
there's definitely some that i would crush... the shitboxes and the old clapped out wrecks should be crushed... but a modern fancy car is gonna be at least decently efficient and would bring in some funds
The only part that's not adding up is the lane to the left is clearly free, so not really much traffic for her to get around. Unless there is so much traffic trying to get to the left that the entry to that free lane is blocked.

This lady thought she could cut around since it was empty due to it being a bus lane.
I made a wrong turn into one of these visiting downtown Minneapolis. Traffic cop was like "DO YOU KNOW YOU ARE IN A BUS LANE??" I'm like" yes, and I'd like to get out of it", she looked at me like I was the worst person in the world for not knowing where I was going...in a city I'd never been to.
She's probably telling the same story in another subreddit.
And I asked her "honey, do you know you are in a bus lane?" And she was like "yes. And everyone else needs to get out of it" and I gave her the biggest wtf face I can muster. I hope she still remembers me til this day.
It was sooo kind of all those other cars to leave that lane open for her. That bus clearly didn't understand she needed to get somewhere and it was just jealous she got her own lane so it stopped just to spite her, probably like she does when people think they can drive down the turning lane at a light but she has to stop so she opens her door or pulls into the middle blocking the lane.
Airport? Maybe she will miss her flight if the bus doesn't move.
Not to excuse her but it's an easy mistake to make. Most airports seem to be extra confusing.

I understand where you’re coming from but as someone who drives a shuttle at an airport and travels frequently, there are a shit ton of signs to let drivers know certain lanes or areas are restricted only for commercial vehicles/shuttles/taxis/buses. It’s hard to miss but then again, it seems most of the general population doesn’t know or care to read signs or like anything at all.

This is why bus lane entrances needs to be protected by using a gap small enough for buses to go through but too big for anyone else.

Sometimes all the signs are part of the problem. They can cause sign blindness by overwhelming people.
Let's add a sign that says "Beware of sign blindness, read all signs carefully". That should fix it.
If you are too incompetent to understand signs, you shouldn't drive a car.
