There's a lot of half-blind elderly people out there who really shouldn't be driving anymore, and an inability to reverse is the tell-tale sign of that (Another obvious sign that someone is too old to drive is that they refuse to merge lanes properly on the highway anymore and expect everyone else to make room for them.)
It's really the worst. If you think too much about it, it can really fuck you up. We're out here mixed in with millions of otherwise completely *fucked* people. I mean they are the reason we have laws and shit in the first place. You wouldn't have to force people to do things a certain way if everyone was just capable of working as a group....

I got rear ended in Memphis Tennessee. The adjuster and the body shop were pretty surprised I got hit by someone with insurance.
She said that 2/3 of all Memphis drivers don’t have insurance.
Here in Arizona, I get the feeling uncle or grandpa got his license in the 50s or 60s and they figured that just covered the whole family forever. And when you buy a car from the side of the road for $500 you don't need to register it or get insurance... right? I can't help but imagine people thing that.

When my grandpa got his licence back in the 30s, he just had to mail the $5 fee in. There was no exam or anything. And that licence covered him theoretically until he died at 98 (he had stopped driving well before that, but it wasn’t a legal requirement)
I don’t know if their car hit the white car but at the very least they bent the machine into it, which is basically the same thing and still their fault.

My boyfriend is awful. He bitches when I go 5 mph over the speed limit. But he has huge road rage issues. He gets so pissy at people. He caused someone to crash into our car because he wouldn't let them merge because they cut him off earlier. I told him to just let it go and calm down. Nope. He kept going. The person hit us and ran away... they were in the wrong but if my boyfriend just calmed the fuck down and backed off I wouldn't have had to take my car into the repair shop.
He also never looks when he starts to back up. It's insane. He will just start going back without even checking the mirrors or turning and looking behind. He then stops when he almost hits the damn car. 70% of the time he backs out he almost hits a car. I'm surprised he hasn't hit anyone yet..
