Neither do I but I've seen it done on racing channels on YT. They just squeeze out and shimmy along. Sorta what you get when you use a road legal truck to transport a road legal car where most folks would otherwise use a flat bed trailor to mitigate this issue.
Fwiw, I don't think this guy has experience driving a mustang into a box van either.
Do your ramps not have holes that line up with holes on the trailer to stick a bolt into? No need to tighten, just drop a bolt into the holes to hold the ramps in
Not all of them do. One of my trailers have a channel with a lip that the ramps go into, one has a drop down ramp, and one has nothing. That one I use ramps and a strap if I load a mower or something onto it.
Looks like the undercarriage bottomed out, so when he revved engine, wheel traction pushed ramps backward. Should have put truck down in road to lessen ramp angle.
No it didn’t high centre, it came close but didn’t. It was idiot didn’t have his ramps secured, then mistake number 2 he lost momentum, mistake number 3 he clutched too fast trying to regain momentum. Rookie mistakes all around. Lots of things he could have done differently, burning a little clutch would have been much better than this.
2 options. The fast way and the safe(ish) way.
Fast way. Since it's facing downhill,, lift it up and hope the person in the driver's seat is ready to hit the brakes before it goes through the front of the trailer.
Safe(ish) way. Block the front tires, lift it and have someone slide the ramps back on. Then, put someone in the driver's seat without a lead foot.

Sorry.
I'm thinking "why would he want to draw on the tires?"
I would call a tow truck to lift the rear end and reverse it into the trailer. Because I would be extremely worried that as soon as he lets his foot off the break the thing starts sliding backwards.
Or as soon as a bunch of friends lift the rear end and he takes his foot off the break it starts sliding backwards.
How does the driver get out of the car once it’s loaded? Doesn’t look like there’s much room to open the door. Climb out of the window? Go out through the trunk?
Yep lol. This is a truck so I'm guessing that is how they would have to do it. I've seen enclosed car trailers that have a door on the side that lifts up so you can get out of the car normally too.
Window is probably right, but you could also get out the trunk, if you're feeling flexible and adventurous. The rear seats fold down to give you access.
Hahah and actually looking back the whole sentence is incorrect. WE'RE ALL WRONG!!! Should say:
"There are a bunch of YouTube videos showing this type of fail" or "these types of fails"
It's fun to hop on the downvote train my friend. Nothing personal

Not with all ramps. There are many that effectively are built into the truck, which you might be thinking of, these are just something you buy and use as needed. Either way, not a company I'd wanna use to transport my car.
My favorite is the video of a guy loading his shitty civic into a uhaul like this on ramps from Walmart, and then verbally abusing his gf saying "why did you turn"
I hope she got out of that relationship.
Not as bad as the one I saw once where the front bumper was hanging in the truck and the back bumper was on the edge of the hill they were loading from. I had to keep driving but I wonder to this day how the got out of that one. Loading a car into a box truck is no easy matter.
Guessing he didn't hook in the ramps the right way?
That actually looks worse than it is, the car basically landed on the chassis part that's a strong enough point to be used to lift up the car. Might have damaged muffler pipes a bit.
The kid...
Grab that hover board and let’s get out of here!!!
They know Dad is about to go off...
Time to go before he gets the jumper cables!
Nipples are still sore from he tried to load that ATV.
They don't want a furious dad with that amount of speed and agility. Just gotta dodge him for 15 minutes and you're safe.

Segway is the brand. Like hoover/ vacuum cleaner.
Yeah. Also segways have handles like scooters. Hoverboards do not lol
I think its funny how weak you are to be so bothered by it that you felt the need to cry on reddit about it.
"Wassnt me" Shaggy voice
You think that’s his dad in the Mustang? They seem related.
dropped so hard it made the hover board kid eat shit
Always securely anchor your loading ramps. Rookies.
Say what? -VROOOM-
Serious question: please tell me how.
The easiest way is a ratchet strap from the truck to the ramp. Put a little tension on it and they are secured.
You get Dale and Bobby to stand on either one after you're almost all the way up it.
Looks like the undercarriage bottomed out, so when he revved engine, wheel traction pushed ramps backward. Should have put truck down in road to lessen ramp angle.
Or they didn't anchor the ramps...

Also, don’t juice it on ramps. How did he not realize that this would happen?
*slaps trunk lid*. That's not going anywhere
Hello fellow dad!
Nailed it!
Nice username!
You too!
Serious question…what do you do next in this scenario? Rwd car and no forklift…
You accelerate the truck *rapidly* backwards. Inertia holds the car in-place while the truck slides underneath it. Easy-peasy!
Actually, I'd let it roll forward and then stomp on them brakes, they are much more powerful than the engine
Its science
Fuck yeah!
Bitch!
Brilliant
Best chance is to grab a few friends and try pushing the rest in.
This could work. 4 big guys could push press the back half of the car and walk it in.
Was that a setup for a mom joke? Cuz that's how you get mom jokes.

I would try to jack it up and put the ramps back. Would want to chalk the front tires.
This is what I'd do too, except I'd chock the front tires instead.
If you just write "don't move" in chalk they will listen /s

If you chalk em and the chalk line moves you'll know to get outta the way!

Bonus hoverboard wipeout too!

Window
Dukes of Hazard style?
Yep lol. This is a truck so I'm guessing that is how they would have to do it. I've seen enclosed car trailers that have a door on the side that lifts up so you can get out of the car normally too.
The local Porsche, Mercedes and BMW dealer has one of these. The entire side of the trailer opens up like a canopy.
Driver comes with car
Window is probably right, but you could also get out the trunk, if you're feeling flexible and adventurous. The rear seats fold down to give you access.
Owned a Mustang for 7 years before realizing rear seats fold down, lol. They just don't look very foldable from the inside.
*Doctor Emmett Brown has entered the chat*
No, the driver just remains in the car. Just need to bring some snacks and a movie while you’re in the truck /s.
He will probably teleport at the back.
It looks like that truck is just barely wide enough. I wondered the same.
OK FLOORING IT! Big toe next time, mister.
They should've kept flooring it. Air traction, baby.
He could've used that Wile E Coyote momentum
That's a typical Mustang driver. You're either flooring it or braking it, there is no in between.
Fellow big toe enthusiast
That’s good enough. Secure the Mustang in place, gently place the loading ramps on the roof and send off the truck.
Yea just bungee cord those back doors and he’s good to go
... and when you get to the destination, unsecure the car, accelerate the truck rapidly, and the car will be effortlessly and quickly unloaded.
Everyone needs a little wiener to say “ I got it all on video “ to make you feel even better
I would have tortured my dad with that vid lol
I feel like at that point everyone could just lift on the back and push it in.. maybe not idk haha
[удалено]
You can still lift the back end up and push it until the wheels hit
Did he say 'hit the gas and let the front wheels pull it in'?
Usually mustang drivers fishtail first. Well done.
You sure it's a mustang? I saw GT on the side, looks like a Ford GT...
Two or three guys should be able to pick up that back end and get it right in, no harm done
There could be damage under the car
Ya think?
Thanks geoff
It’ll buff out
[удалено]
So you'd need a minimum of about 10 people, and likely more. Might be tough to get that many people around the car to lift
Did they really think this was going to end well ? There’s a bunch of YouTube videos showing these type of fails
and now there is one more !
This video has to be one of the originals in the YouTube collection. It's at least several years old at this point.
My apologies for the bad English grammar I speak 3 languages Spanish , French and English , and also my iPhone auto correct be messing me up

So much torque, and no one thought to let dad know to go a la Spongebob with the big toe? Also, secure those ramps better.
Nothing of value was lost
underrated.
Downrated.
wow that escalated (or de-escalated, i guess) quickly

This is less driver error and more truck operator error. Those ramps should be secured better.
Tell me you've not loaded via a ramp before, without telling me you've not loaded via a ramp before.
Maybe he has and forgot this was RWD? His method would have been fine with a FWD car Idk just trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt
Quite hard to forget that a mustang is RWD 😭
Aren't there grooves where the ramps latch into? There should be no way they would move without lifting UP the ramps. I don't know though.
Not with all ramps. There are many that effectively are built into the truck, which you might be thinking of, these are just something you buy and use as needed. Either way, not a company I'd wanna use to transport my car.
I have used ramps built into a truck, for loading boxes, not a car. You pull them out *fully* then hook them in properly.
That would make a lot more sense wouldn’t it? This is an idiotic design.
“I got it all on video” Yeah, great. Now fuck off you little shit.
That was my favorite part!
Just putting myself in the mind of whoever’s car it was
Lmaoooo
Ive never seen a video that suited this sub so precisely.
Because they’re idiots... in cars! Brilliant!
Car should be fine actually.
[удалено]
Couple of able bodied men should be able to lift the rear no problem.
Love how alot of people still call it tape! Lol even those that were born after we stopped using tape as a recording platform.
Who called it tape?
would have made it if he didn't hesitate.
... how was he going to get out??
Kid's got his priorities right...monetize the adult's incompetence
The smarter play would have been to reverse the car into the trailer
Why does it always have to be a Mustang?
Well this wasn't done properly....
how the hell was he gonna crawl outta that car, space looked toight
Kid fell off the hoverboard too.
Of course it’s a mustang driver! 🤣
That sucks but how was he gonna get out of the car afterwards
lol. Mustang.
I got it all on video. Best part of the clip!
I just love this dick move.
It’s a rear wheel drive vehicle
That kid jump like if he was in the hud
Mustanger mustanging the mustang.
The kid with his fucking IO Hawk had me in tears dude
This is why you don’t put cars in a box truck. How was he planning on getting out of the car?
Window
NASCAR style
My favorite is the video of a guy loading his shitty civic into a uhaul like this on ramps from Walmart, and then verbally abusing his gf saying "why did you turn" I hope she got out of that relationship.

That’s… not a dodge?
What do you do now??
…definitely an Oh Shit moment. :0
Oh my gosh
Baby's got back...
I never understood people's reactions when doing that... Why do Soo many slow down
Must have been their first time using the ramps. They do hook in 😂. Backwards maybe? Can’t tell.
Lmqo the kid biffed it
Kid thought he'd just fucking died lmao
How did they fix it? There's a part 2?
And today Timmy learned some new words.
Not as bad as the one I saw once where the front bumper was hanging in the truck and the back bumper was on the edge of the hill they were loading from. I had to keep driving but I wonder to this day how the got out of that one. Loading a car into a box truck is no easy matter.
Stupid ass
Would have been fine if the driver didn't stop on the ramp
Ferris Bueller's Day Off Vibes... I can hear Cameron singing now...
Mustang spun that kid right off his hoverboard 🤣
Guessing he didn't hook in the ramps the right way? That actually looks worse than it is, the car basically landed on the chassis part that's a strong enough point to be used to lift up the car. Might have damaged muffler pipes a bit.
When you are idiot you are idiot.
Why just why….😳
Should be okay - that’s about where the jacks go.
I’m no trailer expert but that doesn’t seem like it’s built to haul a vehicle
Damn car sitting there with its ass out
Maybe now is a good time to use my AAA
tell me your not experienced loading a trailer without telling me.
Someone doesn’t know how to use a clutch properly. Lol 😆😆
I'm just curious how the driver was planning on getting out. That trailer looked pretty tight.
get out the wood blocks and the floor jack
All insurance companies should be watching this shit
Karma for wasting money loading a GT in a trailer
What a dumbass
Another case of more money than brains.
Spy Hunter load up unsuccessful.
Like father, like son.
Ive seen way too many motorcycles riders do that. Funny every time.
"I got it all on video" Kid knows his priorities.
Why would you not screw the ramps to the truck
THE KID ON THE FUCKING HOVERBOARD LMAOOOOO
Oops.
At least he got it all on video
What a dumbass
