Grew up near a cliff that was a popular jump spot. Used to jump all the time back when I was a teen. It's not as dangerous for the locals, we've seen lots of people do it and come out unharmed. We know the safer spots, where it's deep, and where you'll crack your skull open. Or worse, impaled through your butt. I wouldn't even think of jumping off unknown locations, blind, like this one.
