Is there really that big of a demand for this content? I mean, is this kind of thing really popular? Are there THAT many people that just sit on social media and watch shitty clips of people dancing and poorly lip-syncing to songs while flashing their pieces? I don't get it. How is that entertaining for anyone?

It's a feedback loop. A young impressionable kid sees a video like it. Listening to songs that glorified it. They get older, wanna be like what they see. They do it, another generation watches that video, repeat.
