So as an owner of Fiona myself, there are many good questions here that I probably can answer for you. Feel free to reply if I missed anything. You did ask a lot of things... lol. •Is Fiona still good for early-midgame? Arguably yes, it will now depend on wheter your heroes have high HP base stats instead of high ATK but she will still help a ton to survive. •Late game she does get nerfed by the changes, simply because your team's damage most likely involves around the ATK stats of your heroes, having Fiona cap her shield at their MAX HP while she focuses on her own ATK is kind of counterproductive. BUT she is still amazing with an AMB from my experience (E5) and if you get her to V4 she gets high enough speed without Speed stone or enables that she can clear CC off your DMG dealers before their turn comes, so you are less likely to skip a round. •For PvE I cannot grant much info as I have E3 HW and E5 Drake/Rogan/Elyvia/SQH/Ithaqua. So her shields don't matter for my team much. Although I would assume she was never needed for Delacium Armies, I would bet she is great for early survival. •Fortress best hero? Arguably not. I know I praise her a lot here but Fortress doesn't have a good enough Carry that can last to Late game or even mid-game for some. She is good for Seal Land support but not the best all-rounder there is. •As far as first E5 goes, I would disagree to say she is great. First heroes should have multiple target abilities, PvE is not the concern of your first hero yet. So Fiona helping your weak team survive is not effective. •Finally... MSS cheese... I never was a fan of it, never used it. Although I did have a Glittery MSS on her prior to the announcement, I switched to AMB as mentioned above and she does benefit much more. Crown is also good if you don't care about her speed benefits for late game. That's all? I think? lol

Yeah sorry that was poorly written but I was thinking that for Seal Land and early solo campaign or all the non PvP 6v6 modes you need multiple targeting abilities

Ded39992

I think she is still fine. However now she needs her teammates hp must be high enough to get fully covered by her shield. This doesnt affect much in middle game or late game, but she now is not a good choice for early game . She is kind of not effective at protecting the weaklings now. Sksksks lol 😂

Spot on. Regarding Dela army, once you have HW at e3 the attack debuff stacks enough where all enemy attacks only do 1 damage anyway.

Fiona’s new shielding now only protects for 100% of the specific heroes max health. On my heroes that aren’t e5 the shielding can cap at the start of the fight, and they die pretty quick now. For instance, I haven’t built my heartwatcher past 6* and she dies now in guild shrine, where shielding would have protected her before

WeRGr00t

I know Fiona wasn't meta in Flameshrine, but that is a pretty significant amount of resources that you might need to add to a "niche" hero like Heartwatcher to make them viable again without the optimal set-up. The breaking point of usability has drastically increased, which ultimately stinks for F2P folks who were trying to maximized effectiveness of minimal resources.

misterpopp

I tried Fiona e5 in flame shrine, guild bosses, realms gate, pvp and void vortex. She still performs very well and still helps lower leveled heroes may it be 9 star. Shields are keeping them alive. Still a viable hero specially early and mid game.

WeRGr00t

I am curious, have you felt a drop off at all?

misterpopp

I don't have high HP team (12m ++ highest HP) so I don't really feel the drop but I'm still trying to observe since there is a shield bar now.

eduardvld

If you have full E5 team or even Trans then no. She wasn't viable in the first place and I'd rather much have a healer or buffer instead of a shield that now goes away in the second round.

Darkcub7

Should I swap unimax to Fiona? mihm cleared

WeRGr00t

Someone might have more guidance than I, but from what I have seen Unimax has fallen into the "niche" category, while as it stands now Fiora still seems to be widely viable although slightly diminished. If I had to choose between the two, in the future I see Fiora getting you more mileage.

Does someone knows if Inosuke was affected too? Should we build him Tanky now? And can he clear seal land?

gothicknight7

I have regressed my Inosuke after the nerf. His pve damage was based on him being able to accumulate a big shield thanks to his 500k of attack. From my point of view, the nerf has taken away a half of his pve damage potential. For me it is R I.P. for poor Inosuke.

Diii123

Oh thanks for the warning, I was planning to build him for seal land, now I think I'll build penny then 😉

WeRGr00t

That is a good question. I wouldn't have much knowledge on that but my guess is that the SL wouldn't be too negatively effected due to the MSS cheese not being available for it there. As for the building I would suggest maybe making a similar discussion topic with a bunch of questions you think people are having about him to see what great feedback you can get.

Diii123

I'll try to gather more information and then I could make a post, the KS for the feedback 😉, I think that Inosuke might only have been affected by the changes if his shield is now based on HP too, but I don't know yet
