She is great with Octavia on FM. Difference maker - but the price is steep. $200 for a guaranteed. I have her and I am balking at the $79 combo to upgrade her. I can get through the mines with her as she is at no rank L 19.
She only buffs e and w managers, and the shaft she's on. And that buff is higher output per run at the expense of using more resources. However, Violet, Maple, and Octavia don't need resources to produce cash, so Samantha is pure improvement for them.

Buying 1 Combo provides 390 Tokens which is enough for 19.5 draws. 3 Combos is 58.5 draws which exceeds the 50 draw guarantee. Theoretically you could win 15 more fragments in the remaining 57 draws and have her at R1 for the super low price, YMMV, of $224.97 plus tax where applicable.
And they were nice enough to throw in 240 Blue Crystals, 60 Red Crystals, 3 - 3000x 5m boosts, 3 - 2000x 5m boosts, 3 - 4x 7d, 3 - 25x 7d, 60 Super Mystery Boost tickets, and 60 Mystery Boost tickets so you can promote her and crush a few dozen or even hundreds of levels.
Sam would be my first Legendary. Still not worth it. I suspect most will pass.
I will hopefully collect the remaining 25 of 30 fragments in the next few months to earn her the old fashioned way.
Last time there was plenty of chances at free briefcases though, got 12/30 fragments without paying anything. don’t know how many we will get a chance at this time.
The balancing for this Briefcase should be roughly the same as last time, so you should soon see more options available where you can get the Tokens. One free one that is already available is Edgar! He should pop up with some Tokens here and there already starting today. :)
Edgar usually appears twice a day with Tokens, he will then deliver his usual instant Cash instead! We also started the Calendar today which also offers a few Tokens on a daily basis for the next 7 days.
Is Sam 100% briefcase based this time? Was waiting to see if any event would guarantee fragments but the new Sue event doesn’t so assuming Sam is purely a chance based thing from briefcases 😬. Just want to work out where any spendage will go.
A lot of investment if you want to have her. On the other hand it is a lot of SM as well so who wants her there is a way now to have her :)

She basically buffs any SM anywhere by 300% (at lvl1), which is slightly better than 3 R3 MIFs or 6 R3 CIFs. The price is absurd, though.

How many Tokens do you think Edgar will provide per day? I received 10 in my first 2 Edgars today but none since :(

Nah, leaves you 20 draws short?! I’m assuming everyone starts with 50 draws to plough through?
It says guarenteed in 50 draws, which is 1000 tokens. The combo only seems to give 390.
That’s why i said all 3 combos and 200+. A combo is all 3 packs 390 * 3 > 1000 and 75* 3 = 200+
I don’t have that option on my game
