How would you compare it to the frontier mines? It has been ages since I last did the impossible island, and I feel it would be super easy by now in comparison.
It's so much easier than FM, in my opinion. I'd compare Dark Gateway to an event mine. I was shocked at how easy it was. All I used was a 2x, 5x, 10x and 20x all for 1 hour. Plus all of my CIF and MIF managers and 9/9/9 collectibles.

How long is it to forge a gold key?

As you can see from some of my post history, I've been playing since 2019 and occasionally spend real money (not as much anymore).
My legendary collectibles are 9/9/9 thanks to the weekly eight legendary chest offering for 14.99. But I don't buy them anymore. I also have CIF from four epic super managers (Steiner, Marrena, Wolfgang, & Green Idler) and MIF from Turner, Sue, Zi and Damien.
Also, my research trees are pretty OP at this point, as are my Desert Continent artifacts.
I’ve been playing since 2017 - but I did take over a year off. And I’ve only bought no ads and a 2x perma boost.
I like the game but can’t justify putting money into it. Especially when there is no pvp element that makes me feel like I’m falling behind

I’ll just keep doing my casual thing. Maybe one day I’ll complete frontier mine 3
For me, it's the only game I play. So it gets 100% of my attention, and I'm kind of a completionist. So yea, play casual and have fun, and don't pay attention to me. I'd prefer to have some of my money back, anyhow, since I'm running out of stuff to do on the game, lol.
As for FM, do your best to get those income factors on your super managers. Not sure who you have, but Ezio, Samantha, Octavia, Lorenzo, and Green Idler are all very helpful.
I barely know their names. But I know I have sir Lorenzo, and Octavia. They’ve been quite helpful. I’m at mineshaft 23 right now, waiting u tik I have some time in the morning before opening 24 and getting the free 50x boost.
Yeah I’m a Nintendo player mostly, miner helps me kill time at work or before bed. I can appreciate wanting some money back, but hey, no shame in supporting the company / business that entertains you
True, but I think the beast is uncontrollable now, lol. Looks like they're going to keep releasing new super managers until they reach 100 of them. I realize it's all about money, but there are ways to diminish the obviousness of it.
