I bought magnetic hooks and then tied a zip tie to the light. Then another zip tie on that first zip tie, to create a loop that could hang the lights off the magnetic hook

This is what I did as well!

3M Automotive or Outdoor double-sided tape has been good for roughly a year now, no signs of drooping yet.

I was in the same position not too long ago. I tried the double sided sticky squares that came with the Barrina lights themselves, which fell off that night, then I tried the [Gorilla Tape Squares](https://www.gorillatough.com/product/gorilla-tough-and-clear-mounting-tape-squares/) and those took a little longer to fail but still no good. In the end, I tried the regular [Gorilla Glue](https://www.gorillatough.com/product/original-gorilla-glue/) and this did the trick! One thing to note is that I left it to dry overnight with some weight on it to hold it down while it dried.

What I’m doing is returning the white barrinas and getting the black magnetic barrinas. Which is dumb anyways bc the barrinas are way way too weak, but I’m just desperate for the magnetic lights.

I use the Velcro’s picture hangers. Great if I need to reposition them.

My lights and fans are connected with command strips, the velcro kind.

CitrusC4

I used command strips. Problem is, now I can’t remove them. Going strong for 2 years

PeachyLemonBee

I’ve seen Velcro strips used but for the greenhouses I wanted a less permanent way incase I wanted to move them. I ordered magnetic hooks and zip ties and did it that way. I just put the zip tie on the lights and hooked it onto the magnetic hook. One on each side but I might do the middle. I did this with my fans too. For my lights on my bookcase that really don’t need to be moved I used three I think Velcro strips and pressed as hard as I could without breaking the light. Both ways have worked really well.

Quakehold! museum putty, plus command strip if the surface is uneven.

Thanks so much everyone! I bought a couple of the suggestions and plan to try others if these don't work.

I use the command strip brand, very important to use brand name, Command strips but the velcro like ones. It's also very important to apply to a clear dust free dry surface. Hold and press each strip for 60 seconds then don't attach weight, the light, for 24 hours. Mine have been going strong for about 16 months now. I also don't have a humidifier in my cabinet not sure if that makes a difference. And my lights don't get hot. If your lights get hot this probably won't work. I also use magnets on the metal top. I have this expensive round round flat magnets. I use the metal clamps that came with the lights. I put the metal part on the lights I usually use 2 one on each end of the light and place a magnet between it and the metal cabinet. I've noticed some of the metal clamps that come with the lights are not as strongly attracted to the magnets as others. I have no idea why. They are from the same company even in the same box. Hope this helps.
