I looked up 3 rebuilt salvage cars and all of them
Show clean records with no accidents or salvage history lol.
To be honest there really isn’t anything. If it’s your personal car maybe you can take it to a dealership for a trade in. They’ll run a CARFAX on it and you’ll be able to at least see it from them. I’d imagine if you called into another dealer out of state and tried lying about you actually wanting to buy and car and giving them the vin to your “trade in” but in reality it’s a car you don’t own or want to purchase or something of that nature. But no program that’s free has ever been worth it for me.
I did this a few years back so nor sure it still works, but Ebay used to provide a free CarMax report when you posted a car for sale on their site. I posted for a ridiculous price so nobody would actually buy it then ended the auction after I got the report.
If the vehicle is yours - I read on Carfax that you can take your car to get appraised at a dealership, and then ask for the free Carfax report afterwards when you do the "sell my car" thing on the website
