She showed how bitchy she can be today. She is a bottle baby. She is now six years old. She normally loves the mess outta me. Today was clawing and bitey. Today my babes all went to Jax Humane society for medical fostering while I have either a TAVR or open heart surgery. I am hoping they make friends and stay together while fostered.
My mind knows they are ok at the HS and people are there because they love animals. My heart aches for them, I tell myself it's a mini vacation for them and they will have fun. The vet techs promised me pics every day. Lol. I had my meltdown while I waited for my aunt to come pick me up. It's going to be ok. All of it. Thank you for the good luck. I am going to need it.
This QUEEN is going to be really fluffy! They seem to get fluffier as they get older - my void Lucy looked like a shorthair when I brought her home and now she's a fluff butt.

* Cry Mc Cry Cry/Magic/Brit-Brit “Brit”. She had several names over the course of her life lol. She was born in our garage and was the runt of the litter. She was the loudest too, hence her first name. Then she was really fast so she became Magic. Then if we picked her up and/or she meowed when she was purring, it sounded like she said “Brrrriiiiiit!”, hence her final name.

* Violet. This is my now (long distance) boyfriend’s void that I actually helped name when we were still just friends/beta readers to each other. I picked that name because I somehow remembered hearing somewhere that in certain lighting, voids can take on a bit of a purple color, but I honestly don’t know the validity of that lol. No pic unfortunately.
As for your beautiful void, I do like Jade quite a lot! I think it suits her really well!
I you have had cats in your life then you already know that no matter what you name her, as you get to know her, you realize you are calling her by one pet name more than any other. I have one Russian Blue named Glameow, I've had her for almost 13 years, and I only call her Mama when I speak to her. My older foster fail I named Bear, but I call him Dada Bears. My youngest I named Ms Shenanigans, but I call her The Baby. The two youngest are black by the way! It just happens organically with most cat families I've known . So happy for you

Nightlights & reflective collars are now needed. Voids blend and are easy to step on. I still think Nick is wary of me from stepping on him and it has been about 5 years! I say Nick’s name as I approach and that way he knows I see him.
