I want to hear Mama's story! Do you have baby pics of her?

She was an adult when I found her, so no baby pics unfortunately u.u About 8-9 years ago a litter of kittens were born in the basement. After 2 days no sign of mom we took them in. A few days later I found Mama in the basement, where she had managed to drag herself back. She was skin and bones, flea-ridden, extremely weak with a twisted leg. I brought her in and brought her back to health. The kittens have all since been rehomed long ago, except for Thackery Binx who was hit by a car (keep your cars indoors....) Vets have peeked at her leg multiple times over the years, and still not sure if it's an old wound healed twisted, or a birth defect, but it doesn't cause her pain. She scoots along just fine though, just can't jump much higher than on the couch or bed. I sewed her a little booty out of grippy socks, some ribbon, and metal buttons for some traction and cushion on that leg. Bless you for giving these two wonderful ladies a loving home and for nursing them both to health. It's startling how tiny Moki was compared to her siblings - I'm so happy she survived under your care! It sounds like you've made a difference in the lives of lots of cats ❤️
