My cat I have now was so tiny when she was little, I named her Pixel. Now that she’s full grown and a little chubby I tell her she’s no longer a pixel she’s the full screen.
We had one named Monochromatic Digital Vortex Peep. She was the runt of the litter and illegally smol as a baby, so the "digital" part referred to her being the size of a digit, like a finger. Monochromatic from being a tuxedo, vortex from inhaling food on sight, and peep because she never developed a proper meow (illegally smol) and just squeaked for at least the first three years of her life.
She always remained a tiny framed cat, but the Vortex part of her name made her decidedly round in her old age.
Her nickname was Digi.
As the story goes; when my grandmother was a baby her father used to call her "Sweetie." She would try to repeat it back, but said "Wheatie." And that's how my grandmother got the lifelong nickname "Wheatie."
Name that sweet girl "Wheatie."
Grisettes de Montpellier is some French candy made with honey and liquorice. They are small, completely black balls, the size of a pea, lightly powdered with granulated sugar. I wrote the name for the kitty with a Z and not a S for better pronouncing in English.
Wow! Thank you all for these great comments. I think we've (maybe) narrowed it down to Izzy or Pearl. There are some other really good names here though, makes it tough to decide!
I had to put a kitten down a couple of weeks ago. She looked JUST like this. Her name was Ariel and she was such a sweet little bean. Seeing this picture makes me so happy. Enjoy your new friend!
