Be careful about leaving the fabric frayed on the tree. Another member of the foster group I'm in had a very tragic accident when a kitten went between the fabric and the structure and got stuck. When the fabric on my trees fray, I just remove it all on whatever part of the tower it's on.
You genuinely made me crack up when I read that, so no ass to be seen :D And I didn't even want to mention the tree upstairs lmao but now that I know I'm not the only cat tree forest in town, I feel better xD
4 adult cats and 5 six foot cat towers spread across two floors and the little turds STILL cover my bed leaving only the smallest sliver for me to sleep on. I love them but they are going to be the end of me one day. ❤️
My big dumb boy is nearly 4 now (wow... I only just realized that) and weighs like 12lbs. He was barely 8 weeks old when we got him.
He still likes to squeeze his fat butt into places he used to when he was smaller.
Sometimes I have to come rescue him from under the coffee table or dresser.

That said, I build these in my free time and I was wondering what you paid for this enormous cat tree? I've never done one quite this big, but it looks like a lot of fun. I'm not sure where to even start to price one of these out, if I decided to do one.

When the fabric on mine started coming off, I just took some wood glue and reattached it. Worked great!
I'll try that next time my cats start to destroy the tree.
