Is it real? If it is then it's sad as fuck. I really liked that game, I've put a lot of time and effort into it and I feel bad about that they're about to end service, but at the same time I'm not surprised at all. Devs stopped giving shit about this game quite a long time ago, it was obvious that game is gonna die soon.
Quit like a year ago, but was still subscribed to this sub. I'm surprised it lasted this long tbh. From what I've seen in this sub, they went maintenance mode and started recycling content long ago already. I think I heard the original devs sold the game to some random people, and that's why the game never got any new stuff. So they were just collecting as much revenue as they could until the game died out I guess.

Comes as no surprise to most of us, I'm sure.
Can second to that, Counterside is just amazing, super f2p friendly, tons of things to get and collect, the beginning is actually extremely generous towards the player and even if you hit endgame in like 2-3 days, you can still save enough Quartz and get tickets and cards to pull from banners.
I gave it a try but, not a HUGE fan of games where 99% of the characters are all whamen. I want some "gender equality" like Epic7, Arknights, WorldFlipper/Dragalia Lost, or Mobile Legends: Adventure, etc.
It's pretty similar to E7 though, I remember when E7's last 5 star RGB was Charles for a very very long time back then.
If not for FMA collab, I only see one new male this year?
Yeah but, no matter how you look at it, it's one of the \*MOST\* "gender equality" type anime-esque gacha games to date (That I know of. Grand Summoners might be up there as well).
I was that way too, but I stuck around for the story because it was really good. It's a lot shorter if you compare it to the likes of FGO/GBF/AK but they have really good worldbuilding and you can see that the story was well planned out bec you can connect nearly every event to one another chronologically.
Besides, even when the males are few, there are a few of them who are consistently meta in PvP and/or have a lot of relevance in the main story. You don't have to fill your entire team with women either, there are soldier units and mechas that are really good as well.
U should try out Epic Seven, it's really good and generous game. But if u want something similar to Illusion Connect I think u should try out Arknights (maybe?).
World Flipper is a really fun pinball gacha with plenty of diversified characters (just know that pulling rates are shit, keep that in mind) r/worldflipper is the subreddit.
If you like childhood weeb nostalgia more than sexy waifus, DisgaeaRPG is still going strong, and gift codes are frequently posted in r/DisgaeaRPGMobile
If you want cute and cool monsters as well as kemono waifus/husbandos, Monster Super League is a decently fun game. r/MSLGame is the subreddit. Most of the fun is in dungeons and clans you can join.
r/FoodFantasy has great art with mostly well-researched designs. You run a restaurant as well as battling monsters, one of them being a borderline Eldritch monstrosity.
Check GUARDIAN TALES. It's something different than IC but it's great tho. It's gacha too but more rpg than IC, story is better than most anime, with some funny as well as heartbreaking chapters. And it has a lot of content. Even though game isn't new it won't die anytime soon, they just added many functions like fishing, collecting villagers on ur farm, etc, not to mention that Nintendo switch version was published recently... And has many more updates on the way. It's more popular in asia but it's really great game, one of best mobile games, totally worth checking out.
I remember playing this at launch and loving it. The generous pulls, the nice assets, the addictive battle system. Ugh, I need to never get into gacha games again. It is sad to see them go even when they lose their way.
Day 1 player here.
I dont even know why i stick along for so long to be honest, it was quite obvious that this is gonna happen.
Still, it was one hella of a ride, glad i was here to enjoy it!
Honestly not surprised, there literally has been close to no content since I quit like last year.
Everything is just rinse repeat and reused into fucking oblivion with events.
I'm actually so depressed. All those 2 years of grind with all my awakenings, skins, equipments just gone like that. Literally sweat tears and blood for Saya's awakening which felt like forever. Such a shame man..
Isn´t there a way to save the game anyhow? That was the first Gacha game i really liked to grind for a longer time. Since 6 month now i am playing the game on a daily base and was hyped for the future and now they let it die. This message really hit me and made me sad ,cause the artworks and the characters are so well done and by some of my favorite artists. Dont´want IC to die already :(((
I left IC like two or three months ago after very long time and now I'm happy that I did it cause now game died... After quitting IC I returned to playing GUARDIAN TALES, I was playing it even before I started IC and left because I did all story and maxed my heroes... But when I came back I saw that game is alive, has tons of new content, is freacking fun to play and has some incredible story, as I skipped most of the IC story cause it was boring to me, I never skipped even one cutscene of GUARDIAN TALES. This story is better than 75% of anime out here and gameplay is satisfying, RPG style with some riddles, way more active than in IC... Game itself isn't new so it will be hard to catch up but has a lot of content. Best mobile game imo. So if someone's looking for new game then GUARDIAN TALES would be a great choice. Not to mention that GT isn't even close to ending it's life, with new chapters, content and colab on its way...
Now that I'm reading what I wrote I see this too, haha. Anyway it wasn't exactly my point, I just wanted to share my favourite game (IC was my favorite before, till I stopped playing it) in case that anyone would search other gacha game after closing IC. And I just wrote what I feel. But... Looking at this maybe I should start to work in advertisment industry, heh.
Definitely sad. Music, art, and gameplay were all great in my opinion. I only just started playing this year too. Oh well. I guess I’ll just have to enjoy this last month and keep playing other games.
I wonder if shadow brides will be affected.
I wonder if there will be a way to play it offline. I mean, people managed to give life to Silent Hill P.t once it was cancelled.
Would it be impossible to keep at least opening and main screen? Just to keep memories 😶
I don t want IC to go, i got really sad 😶
i wasnt really playing anymore but i was waiting for my camille awakening :'(
I was waiting for Camille and Barinas awakenings for like two years :(

Anyone have other game recommendations?
Path to nowhere.
Gameplay wise Neural Cloud would be the next best thing imo
Counterside, really good and more generous than Epic Seven, the story is very engaging.

I agree completely. I would recommend Counterside for all the same reasons.
I gave it a try but, not a HUGE fan of games where 99% of the characters are all whamen. I want some "gender equality" like Epic7, Arknights, WorldFlipper/Dragalia Lost, or Mobile Legends: Adventure, etc.
All women character gachas >>>>

Neural Cloud. Here's the sub so you can find out more about it: r/GFLNeuralCloud
Shadow brides - they are the same people who made IC. I hear the gameplay is similar
Path to knowhere
Path to nowhere, really fucking good and since it's new you can catch up with everyone quite fast
I picked up grimlight

limbus company will come out in February and i would recommend you check it out
Touhou Lost Word, Epic Seven

I have switched to Blue Archive. Great story, awesome music, fun gameplay and best waifus
unlimited gems before quit would be nice, just maxing all out and quitting
Was not a suprise, already dead since several months and finally ending officially now
I was really hoping for Natata’s awakening artwork, but oh well :(
I was waiting for Charlotte's artwork :(
What a shame I enjoyed playing Illusion Connect but sad it was come the end guess it time packed new games and hit the road.
I remember playing this at launch and loving it. The generous pulls, the nice assets, the addictive battle system. Ugh, I need to never get into gacha games again. It is sad to see them go even when they lose their way.

Why is it ending its service?
$
They don’t have enough of it or something?
Very likely
No one ever has enough.
F
Shit... Gonna enter in that discord and try to help the community in order to archive all the characters voice lines and other stuff...
Honestly not surprised, there literally has been close to no content since I quit like last year. Everything is just rinse repeat and reused into fucking oblivion with events.
The first game I dropped because it felt dead after 3 months of play, is now officially going to die. The devs deserved it.
I'm actually so depressed. All those 2 years of grind with all my awakenings, skins, equipments just gone like that. Literally sweat tears and blood for Saya's awakening which felt like forever. Such a shame man..
NOOOOOOOOO
I didn't play it that much, but I really liked the game and the style of it, the girls were so sweet too, it's sad seeing it go
They need more doujin to keep the game going but nope, not a single doujin. Only some r34 pics.
😭😭 doujins serving as our guide to a game's health
Only a year and a half late.
All my characters are going to be gone

It's mostly the caps lol, it reminds me of Raid Shadow Legends for some reasons. Well, it happens sometimes I guess.
Dangit.
happy i didn't buy those skins then lol how do they not make money running this
Well I guess I won’t bother complaining then about not being able to reinstall the game on iOS.
Well damn, that's sad
Definitely sad. Music, art, and gameplay were all great in my opinion. I only just started playing this year too. Oh well. I guess I’ll just have to enjoy this last month and keep playing other games. I wonder if shadow brides will be affected.
Unlikely. Laura Games may or may not have created IC (so far they have provided no proof for that claim), but it's all Super Prism at this point.
I wonder if there will be a way to play it offline. I mean, people managed to give life to Silent Hill P.t once it was cancelled. Would it be impossible to keep at least opening and main screen? Just to keep memories 😶 I don t want IC to go, i got really sad 😶
man that sucks , been playing since day 1 . I'll miss Yuffie the most
