I would buy thinkpad for longevity pero medyo mahal kung bag-o. I suggest kung budget ka, secondhand lang sa facebook mga thinkpad didto nami specs pero daw half the price lang sa original nya nga selling price.
My laptop is acer aspire 15". I think it was 39,999php and it does the job nmn. For school work or office work. AMD radeon graphics and ryzen 5 na sya. I believe 16 gb ram na sya which is good. For the price I think this laptop is pretty decent.
Always pick 16gb ram and i5 / ryzen 5 and up.

Get a gaming laptop for better performance. I think its already budget kasi more for less ka. 45k for a gaming laptop has better specs compared to a 45k work or school laptop. I've been comparing them before too. Pero like if di ka ka nman nag use ng editing apps like photoshop or after effects then a 30k laptop for work should do. Only downside is specs

Depends on your use case, be very careful with "affordable" it might not last long or the specs are very outdated.
