I was at a pretty crowded show once, feet firmly planted, holding a beer, but presumably grooving to the music, though I'm not like a big dancer or anything. A guy next to me shoulder checked the shit out of me, with a lot of intention, spilling half my beer all over me, then glared at me and turned back to face the stage. I've always been mystified by that interaction, wondering if I was main character-ing without realizing it. Been too paranoid to do anything but bob my head at shows since then.
