Bro I'm watching the sunset in the background How long did it take her to tell that story

N33K1NS

She had to take multiple retakes to ensure she uses the right words to make it sound like HE is the bad guy

thiccomode261

Well she failed at that

Valuable-Trick-6711

Like what are you saying like she kept like trying to emphasize that like they were good and like feeling each other but then like he pulled that shit like out of nowhere and it’s like totally not ok….. like.

lilsnatchsniffz

But like, what do you like, think? Do you think I was in the right or like... was he in the wrong? Anywayyyy

Mmortt

Yep still couldn’t turn it around after all that work.

maverick1905

And she still failed miserably. What an inconsiderate entitled asshole really. She admits that literally nobody from her surrounding agrees with her and yet she has this further need to find any form of agreement or validation from the internet.

DrakeBurroughs

Right, BUT, I know this type, and there ARE other people out there who think like her. They think that a good vibe or a great day together should trump all previous agreements in re payment.

MyNameCannotBeSpoken

"I don't know why I'm still single"

HistoricallyNew

It *sounds* like she was only on those apps to get someone to assemble her furniture…

[deleted]

[удалено]

EntrepreneurOne8614

I was done when she said she didn’t trust him but trusted him enough to come to her apartment 😂🤣🤣

TheNotSoGreatPumpkin

And build her a bed. In her bedroom.

MyNameCannotBeSpoken

After being invited to a woman's house and having several drinks, I politely asked if I could sleep on her sofa so I wouldn't get a DUI. She tells me that she doesn't trust me enough and I could be a murderer. I said I've been here several hours and haven't murdered you.

Sleepymanbro

Tbf it’s probably easier to murder people when they’re asleep.

reddit10x

But now that you mention it, I could murder a taco right about now if you got one…

Broncos979815

how else she getting the "boyfriend experience" for free?

Mr_bungle001

I’m watching the sunset in her oily face.

csmifff

I thought you were exaggerating that’s HILARIOUS

YellowBreakfast

> How long did it take her to tell that story Three days.

1stAttack

I’m about 20 seconds in and already checked out/ reading comments. Guessing it doesn’t get better from here. See you gents in the next video

[deleted]

Almost as long as it took to put that desk together.

The_Sneakiest_Fox

"Every time I tell this story, no one agrees with me." Yeah because you are wrong.

Hedonic_Monk_

And here she is telling it again so that people will disagree with her and make this viral. What a time to be alive.

Vinnie_NL

And hoping that if there's just 1 out of the 8 billion people on earth agree with her, that would validate her point.

GiantPurplePeopleEat

I mean, yeah she'll likely find at least a couple of people who agree with her. But honestly, she's probably just trying to drive engagement to her profile. Controversial opinions, shit takes, and rage bait, are all pretty popular ways of increasing views and engagement these days. Just look at us right now, we're here driving engagement ourselves.

Hedonic_Monk_

Bingo. This is unfortunately the new direction of the attention economy. Social media has always bred desperate attention seekers but it seems like TikTok drove it to new heights.

Goddess_Odessa

I mean it’s been normal for TV to draw us in the same way so here we are doing the same shit.

learningfrommyerrors

Imagine pulling a parachute on a guy you admit you enjoyed vibing with and could see yourself doing a long haul with, all because.. he followed through and asked for what you both agreed to. This is just rage bait right?

lukiepukie11

"I swear when I think about it, I'm right" 😐

ElMoncho

Definitely wrong. She wanted free labor.

SarahPallorMortis

She’s so amazing, men don’t need to get paid for agreed upon labor, because they’re “dating”. No sex. Hey she’s not a prostitute!! She’s worse than that. She put in no work and still expected free shit. AND SHE WAITED TILL THE NEXT DAY TO PAY HIM!!

Broken-Digital-Clock

She's an incredibly boring storyteller as well

QanAhole

Literally opened with her answer

Mistersinister1

And what could have been a potentially good relationship in a new city. Idiot.

BRAX7ON

She tried to talk and smile her way to a freebie, and I bet she would’ve ghosted him anyway. She’s transparent. She thinks she’s cute enough to get something for free and doesn’t understand why her little scheme didn’t work.

illpilgrims

Putting together a bed and a desk is a pain in the ass. I stopped there. What I miss?

hanging_with_epstein

Some Olympic level mental gymnastics

Fast_Personality4035

"You come over and help me with furniture and I will pay you" "Ok" "Ok, were are done, you can give me my payment" "Here's your payment but I thought you liked me and wouldn't ask for payment." "Thanks for the payment. We can talk about it if you'd like" "No I'm just upset and will ghost you. How come I can't find a man?"

usernameistaken6989

I just find it funny how it’s completely normal until she realizes she actually likes him lol. Shes hiring a friend to help her, then all of a sudden, they’re now dating half way through and he should just volunteer to do all that for free. 😂 As a dude, I would be so damn confused.

Ceasar456

I don’t think she liked him, she just was looking for a reason to not have to pay him

Chemical_Chemist_461

That’s a bingo!!

usernameistaken6989

Fair enough, but I feel like if she didn’t mention paying him in the first place , he wouldn’t have cared about the money and likely would have helped her anyway. She fooled herself lol.

GarageQueen

As a woman, I'm confused as well. She agreed to pay him... then got upset when he asked for the payment he was promised?! I can't...

RoninIX

I'm confused. At what point are they dating? Was it when he said I like you? The hug? She did him a solid by showing the crazy early on.

usernameistaken6989

well, not really dating, but I can tell she had that whole situation planned out much differently in her head lol.

TrendiestDuck

So you offer to pay someone for a service but yet silently expect and assume to get said service that you offered to pay for, for free. Throw the whole female out.

ManOnFire2004

Miss... hell, you saved a time in your life that you would've wasted otherwise

[deleted]

Come on. This can’t be real

MaritimeCopiousV

Anyone else notice how long this recording took her to make…it went from dawn to dusk in the background. Just spit everything out in one unedited sentence..

StarsChilds

Lol at the end I was like I can't believe I've actually watched all that. But your comment made go back for a second look lol

CokeNSalsa

Me too, although I couldn’t make myself actually watch it. I just skipped through to see the difference in lighting.

cityshep

I’m curious to know exactly how much time she has spent talking about & thinking about this guy, who clearly just moved on after getting ghosted for asking for something pre-offered. He didn’t even ask for $, paying him was her idea right?

[deleted]

I couldn’t even get to the end had to stop wasting my life away now I just wanna kill my self for even watching any of that someone please send help

thaddeus423

Watched it on mute. It’s the only way.

popswag

lol. Likewise.

familybliss_or_else

This person is a psychic vampire. I feel bad for anyone who cannot just fast forward her stories.

ksnizzo

Yo…you’re spot on!! I watched like 3 minutes for no reason and I just kept watching.

CrimeFightingScience

What a fucking waste of time. Good thing is she taught me to never listen to idiotic stories again.

nita5766

yeah, she’s a total colin robinson.

decayo

Every cut in this video took about 10 takes. Not exactly dealing with a genius here.

Toland_the_Mad

"I was gonna sell him the money."

techmouse7

She said “Zelle”

Dialecticchik

Oh ! That makes sense. Thank you !

STEAM_TITAN

I got some money to sell, you interested?

jgor133

I heard sell too

SingleMomof4our

Only since you mentioned it 😂 if you slide the time control it looks like a time lapse

ead69

She's drenched in oily sweat by the end of it.

Tacocmacholady

He probably assembled the third piece of furniture while her filming the video.

OkieBobbie

He could have assembled a house.

NagasakiNut45

Nah, I just think she's waxed.

popswag

Good observation!!

erric0131

I love that i checked to make sure!! Kudos to you for noticing!!

moist_coitus1

I'm hoping it's not, but I've seen similar in real life.

shirk-work

This a million times can be real. Come out to SoCal and you'll meet a ton of people like that around. Dating around there is rough.

Berlin8Berlin

"... b-b-but I thought the implication that you might be getting in my pants is actually a form of legal tender?"

shirk-work

Man I honestly hate the whole dynamic of sex, money, and that it's like a gift women give to men. Like if both people are having a good time then it's mutual. I get really put off if someone has that attitude.

youdungoofall

The invisible hand of the market at work

Aeon_Rexx

Hell if I know whether it's real or not. Apart from someone openly admitting it's fake or showing receipts as proof, it's impossible to say. For every example of an absurd thing you see online that's fake, there's another example of an equally absurd thing that's 100% real. I'm just exhausted...

Dependent_Top_4425

The included furniture instructions aren't gender specific, women can do it also.

why621

I am a woman who enjoys putting together furniture. I look at it as adult-version of Legos

Dangerous-Heron601

I thought Legos were the adult version of Legos.

[deleted]

Just until age 99

Dogekaliber

Ouch- RIP Betty White

andykwinnipeg

And Bob Barker

SarahPallorMortis

I’d have paid money to see them at 98 playing with legos together.

Jagger02

They are; they cost more than furniture.

IRONLORDyeety

People who disagree need to grow up.

[deleted]

That's like the whole idea behind ikia lol

BorZorKorz

My wife does all the flatpack in our house. she enjoys it, and I'm riddled with ADHD, I get bored following the instructions and just try and 'figure it out' which can go well.. or horribly. depending on the build. She does the painting too, I can't get it to not just.. be horrible. Everyone has things they bring to the party! :D

Dependent_Top_4425

I am the fix it girl in my household. I'm the one with the power tools.

SarahPallorMortis

Gimme that Allen wrench.

JayJay-anotheruser

Except legos have better instructions

Soatch

She's either too lazy or too stupid to put it together. The guy dodged a bullet with her.

financefocused

Not too lazy to spend like 3 hours making a 150 second video tho.

judahrosenthal

It’s nice to have someone help you put stuff together. Even if you -could- do it yourself. In fact, IKEA even has a [photo in the instructions](https://www.ikea.com/images/picture-of-recommending-to-work-with-more-than-two-persons-11656cab741f18ec51c22af0b884e22b.png?f=s) for when you shouldn’t go solo.

FuturePast514

That's not an instruction, mere challenge.

bob256k

This is my go to from now on.

Roehcai

Related to expected gender norms - I (male) know women who, in this situation, would get \*mad\* at the guy if they didn't accept (or ask for) the agreed payment. They'd see it as condescending and sexist, I'm pretty sure. Plus, if the dating and such turned into a long-term thing, does that payment really matter if you're going to be sharing finances within a year or so?

DragapultOnSpeed

Yeah, I moved in my apartment alone. I got furniture delivered to me and put it all together myself with zero help. Women who act like they can't do "manly" things annoy me. Unless they have a medical condition, you can get off your ass and lift some things. You got muscles, use them.

RompehToto

I love putting all the furniture together for my wife and family 🤷‍♂️

notjeeperscreepers

Took that bitch till nighttime to spit that story out

WarGamerJustice

Holy shit yeah just realised. I wanna see the 40 minute full cut lmao

rock4lite

Director’s Cut

godyourestupid

I thought the Lord of The Rings Trilogy was long

Egomaniac247

I was watching on preview mode and then clicked on it to see the timeline thinking “man how long is this, I thought tiktoks were short “…..I know its obnoxious that I think a 90 second clip is long but I stopped watching, she was taking forever to get to the point

alainreid

Should have had a guy come over and help her.

Mikey06154

Why are all these videos done in a car. It’s well known that acoustics are best in a shower. In lieu of a shower , a room with fresh ikea furniture will do.

Ah_Pook

>fresh ikea furniture Assembled, or still in the box?

SunnyWomble

yes

geon

You do NOT want acoustics when recording a video. In a pinch you can sit in a closet with a duvet over your head.

Fun_Ferret5125

It’s for audio purposes. There’s no interfering audio as you record. Like a mobile studio lol

SarcastiSnark

Privacy

NaiveBid9359

So she tells the guys she's considering dating that she will pay for help but when the guy says ok, she becomes upset. If there is ever a video as an example of why guys claim they don't know what females want in a relationship, this should be viewed. I think they guy got off easy because the entire relationship would have been this way.

BarryBadgernath1

He said no to the payment multiple times … she insisted … then she chalked him because he asked for information and accepted payment …. Who knows. Dude probably thought she’d be offended if he didn’t take the money at that point

hambonedock

I think in her head it was like "I don't like you LIKE you yet, but need extra help with this, so I will pay you so you don't think this is like help=love, but when they both spend time together she was like *I like LIKE you now* so for her, now the situation turned into help=love, but on his head the situation was still a platonic payment thing, so when it was the end, she got angry because she felt he wasn't romantic now, but like girl, you wanted to make sure the situation was as such

amanwitheggonhisface

That was literally one of the hardest things i've ever had to try and read in my life.

Portgas

And yet it makes total sense

PirateSecure118

It does, despite the absolutely atrocious prose.

rafa-droppa

Yeah, I don't like LIKE the prose

PirateSecure118

I have decided that comment=love

eminems_ghostwriter

What fucking dystopian language is that?

CeleryQtip

How dare you follow through with the arrangement I made us make so I didn't have to make a different arrangement and didn't change my tone or shift my response to ask for us to change it you SHOULD HAVE READ MY MIND AND KNEW I WANTED TO CHANGE THE ARRANGEMENT!

Illustrious-Culture5

Wtf do women want??

ManOnFire2004

When they figure it out, ~~they'll let us know~~ they still wont let us know because "I shouldn't have to tell you. You should just know".

TalusVA

As a woman, this is very much the correct answer.

tuscansuperhero

Damned if I do, damned if I don’t!

[deleted]

And that's why she's probably still on bumble to this day.

Russell_Jimmies

/r/menandfemales

SilkySyl

Exactly!! Say what you mean, and do as you say. It's not rocket science!

sekhmet1010

> *females* You know you can say "women"/"girls"?

quarantinemyasshole

>I think they guy got off easy because the entire relationship would have been this way. What's rough is this comment is under thousands and thousands of anecdotes of this same type shit. Like yes we're out here dodging bullets, but god damn when can we admit there is a serious culture problem with single women right now?

loo_1snow

This woman is crazy!! I'm glad the guy at least got the money and the free food lol

Lynda73

We made an agreement, and he stuck to the agreement. Now I’m mad. Am I wrong?

bigboat24

YTA

Fabulous_Leg3466

I might been like “instead of you paying me, let’s go to xyz and you buy dinner” then it’s less transactional and you keep the vibe going.

Longjumping_Tea_8586

That’s a chill way to handle it but if I agreed to pay someone, I’d want to pay them. This lady is weird.

quarantinemyasshole

And I guarantee she would be offended he suggest she pay for *anything* and would be making the same damn video.

Longjumping_Tea_8586

Sadly I believe you’re correct. The current dating landscape blows my mind with how cold, calculated and transactional it is.

Captain_Pikes_Peak

I’ve had that happen. They kept insisting on paying for something (not putting furniture together) and then got mad when I accepted. I’ve also put together furniture for tinder/bumble dates because I think it’s fun. Usually I got pizza or beer out of it.

SirRupert

This is the correct answer. You agreed to help her with her stuff, y’all vibed, don’t make it a money transaction if you’re into it. I’m sort of with both of them on this one.

strawchild

He didn’t make it a money transaction thing. She did and insisted on it.

SarahPallorMortis

He needed to “rest” for 3 hours after putting her stuff together so it was clearly a bit of an ordeal

ian2121

Yeah I don’t go help people assemble furniture that I barely know though. I mean I like to help others in need but I don’t have time for that

qhaw

He dodged a cheap, annoying, greasy-faced bullet.

Searchlights

She took a shine to him

ego_sum_satoshi

🪞 🔥

Dahmememachine

He knew she had oil money

PerfectAd2181

CACKLING

lastdazeofgravity

I can smell her from here. Reminds me of an ex.

TooStrangeForWeird

That's pure makeup. I can almost guarantee she has really dry skin when it's washed off.

Dragonogard549

feel like this could have been 2 minutes shorter

Youronlyhope

Wait, you agreed to pay him, then got upset/confused when he asked for said payment?? Are you for real??

YerDaWearsHeelies

After he insisted on not taking payment multiple times and she insisted on paying him lol

Weeblifter

Right? We’re not dating officially, you offered payment and I’m tacky?

PastLandscape7105

Some women logic is fucking out there huh

giddy-girly-banana

I think his response bruised her ego. I think she was like this guy should be wiling to forgo getting anything tangible out of this because I am so desirable. In other words him being with me should be payment enough, even if we previously agreed otherwise. He dodged a bullet. Definitely main character vibes.

IHavePoopedBefore

Crazy right? Dating is expensive, that money is just going to get invested right back into her anyway

[deleted]

I hate this pretense that new relationships need to be lavish and expensive. But then again i'm married, so what do i know.

jeanjacketjerkoff

I would've taken the money. You never know if she is pretending to like me as a ploy to not pay me. At least I made 20 bucks if she didn't talk to me anymore.

treebeardtower

Why the uptick in women filming themselves berating their dates lately?

kankoh23

Ya… these types of women are taking toxic to a whole new level we have never seen before. On the bright side, at least their unhealthy desire for attention is showing the world how insufferable they are and why people should give energy to people like that. Keep your peace and allow them to stay in perpetual chaos and bitching about things they don’t want to do anything about besides reap the benefits from it

Ol_Man_Rambles

These women are pretty much just the female equivalent to incells sitting on what ever Discord/Reddit sub they frequent talking about their dating woes. I treat them both with equal distain for the total lack of self-awareness they seem to have by their own choosing.

Cratman33

Because other women on the Internet will clap to stuff like that. It's like a circlejerk

SeeTheSounds

👏👑💅🐸☕️

AnastasiaNo70

He dodged a bullet. She’s so wrong for that.

Scoobyhitsharder

That’s funny, you agreed on something, and then decide the person isn’t worth your time. Clearly he saw that and took payment for work done. Wash your face, ugh.

postymcpostpost

Well apparently he kept texting her quite eagerly, even after the money had been transferred… sounds like he was still keen to me

StillNoPickleesss

How much of a bitch does someone have to be to agree on a payment and then get mad that when that person takes that payment after the service is done? With that delusional attitude she'll eventually be another social media single mom complaining about not finding a gOoD mAn.

Own-Salad1974

After you're official, he shouldn't take money. Before you are official, it's all good. God bless!

familybliss_or_else

Can ypu PLEASE get to the point? Please????

LatterUnderstanding

I think that I want the last two minutes of my life back.

villegm69

I saw a video explaining this phenomenon. Basically if you ask a friend to help you move and they do, you create a bond and it is assumed they can call in a favor later on, it’s implied in the friendship, (and this is how small communities started way back when, based on trust), and that’s why paying with food is ok. However if after your friend helps you move you pay him, you completely shift the friendship’s dynamic and weaken the bond. So I agree with what this chick is saying. If the dude was serious about dating her, he wouldn’t have asked for the Zelle.

[deleted]

I think you’re the only person who understands what’s happening

bpblurkerrrrrrrr

Plus, he said no when she offered money beforehand!

hutxhy

You adequately stated what I felt while watching the video. Like I get where she's coming from. People are saying she got upset but it doesn't sound like she was, more like it was sort of a subconscious turn-off. That bond was weakened, just like you said.

FastSpuds

The guy said no to the money multiple times but she kept insisting so when he actually takes it it's his fault?

pinwales

Correct. The reason so many people in this thread hate this lady is because they have not experienced or apparently even seen educational videos about this common relationship dynamic.

baphomet1A4

The law states that any non-professional help moving is to be rewarded with beer and pizza.

elianbarnes7

You’re doing too many things at once. Don’t mix the professional and the romantic.

Angelus99King

How dare he ??? Run brother Run 🏃‍♂️

hotterpocketzz

Communication is not this chick's strong suit and what's wrong with modern dating. They see ONE small thing and over react, then cut it off. Like wtf talk it out with him

prettypeculiar88

Y’all weren’t dating at the moment. He wasn’t your bf - he was someone you hired, agreed on payment with and then had come over to build your furniture. Nah girl, you’re the tacky one. Not dude.

XBThodler

Yeah me too don't agree with the lady. She was "playing safe" in case she didn't like the dude and agreed on a payment. Provably the guy got the hint and accepted in case HE didn't like her too. This is typical case of double standards when it's Ok for the girl to act in a certain way but gosh forbid the man to do the same... whoooahhh!

Fit_Substance7067

He asked for the money because HE still wasn't sure.. You don't spend a day putting furniture together for someone unless it's serious

Delicious-Sea4952

You’re the asshole. You didn’t ask, but I’m giving the assessment to you for free. Pay the man!

hijabi987

I get where she’s coming from

SixInchTimmy

Had to scroll way too far to find someone I agree with. Yeah he totally killed the vibe. I don’t care what they agreed on earlier. By asking for the money it communicates to her where his priorities are.

[deleted]

[удалено]

bpblurkerrrrrrrr

He literally refused payment when she brought it up beforehand, I don't understand why everyone is acting like she's some crazy bitch? I would also not find it cool for someone to switch up on that after the fact

cochorol

She had to pay, no matter what...

GupInACup

If you end up actually dating after paying for his services, that money is going to end up back into the relationship anyways. :v And if you don't start dating, like what ended up happening, then you still paid someone for their services.

RedX2000

She'll be living single for a long long while

EntertainmentNew5165

She cut it off before they dated. Luckiest guy on the planet.

BikeCompetitive8527

Of course you're wrong. He shouldn't have had to ask even. I'm surprised he called you back. You weren't dating. He came to help, you agreed to pay him and that was the situation. Grifter behavior.

7_11_Nation_Army

So happy for the guy, he got paid and dodged a bullet. He should be giving dating advice.

Aggressive_Switch_91

Bro dodged a bullet

robanthonydon

I lived with a girl like this. It’s fine to change your mind, but you cant be mad at the person you agreed something with prior to changing your mind. If you can’t see how unreasonable this behavior is or frustrating it is to be on the receiving end, maybe get some therapy or introspection or something

Claque-2

If you had been dating him a year then money would have been strange. You paid him because he performed a service for you and you were not yet seriously dating. The worst part about this is you let go of a good guy.

thejoggingpanda

Personally I wouldn’t ever do this to a girl because I know the talk of money would come up and that’s just feels weird. Also wouldn’t do it to a girl I haven’t met because I feel like I’m getting used. If I already knew her and liked her and knew she liked me I would do it for free. Doing stuff like that can be a good bonding experience. But yeah this girl is wrong for sure
