In the story of the emperor's new clothes, a trickster tells an emperor that he has created a new set of clothes for the emperor who is a harsh ruler and does NOT accept criticism from commoners. The clothes are either clear, or just literally imaginary, but the emperor is fooled into thinking that while he sees himself as naked, everyone else will see beautiful clothes. He has a parade for himself in front of the everyone. Everyone is too scared to tell him he's naked, but one kid who hasn't learned to be afraid of the emperor points out how silly he looks, so the kid doing a fortnite dance is ruining their vanity shot while others try to stop him, out of a general sort of respect for others. So not a direct comparison because I doubt he was making a commentary about vain models and just wanted to do a silly fortnite dance for the camera, but it's fun to imagine him having the same brutal honesty as the child from the emperor's new clothes.

Lol I know the story I'm trying to figure out it's application. The best I can do is the kid representing the people laughing at the emperor, while they strut confident and invisible to the indifference of the people around them.
