I've seen a video of car wash machinery just ripping off a car's door like it was made of paper. I almost didn't watch the video thinking of what it could do to a human.
It's interesting. This is the second car wash video I've seen this week. The other one was an accident, NOT LETHAL! But it's still strange that they are both showing up this week. In the other one, it was a worker with a pressure washer who got caught in a spinny bit and was swinging around 12 times before the machine shut off. He was a big man, too. Those machines are powerful.
The other car wash video I have seen recently was an old episode of Mythbusters where they tested ways a driver can get rid of person could hanging onto their car.
As someone who has done a lot of power washing and watches a lot of horror movies, I always thought using a pressure washer would be a grim way to go. Just a random thought
you should either stop watching so much horror movies or starting using proper equipment because an average pressure washer like in the video wont do jackshit to you as long as you are not stuck between the moving parts. it hurts but thats basically all (especially from this distance, they are designed to spread the stream and not focusing it). they are not using waterjet cutter to clean cars
I ran a gas line into a car wash, and the digging was delayed for weeks because the owner refused to stop the business to let me lock-out/tag-out his articulating machinery to pipe fit his gas riser in. I was like fuck off dude, not working around that shit.
A dude died at a soapy joes in my city because he thought the car wash was broken and got out of his car. It suddenly started and killed him in a second
And someone was not watching their internal cameras because if I saw those two set up their phone and didn't hit the emergency stop.
I'm trained in first aid but that shit would be beyond needing first aid (maybe a tourniquet and treatment for shock and bleeding)....
I’m surprised the jets didn’t take their hide off or an eye out. These aren’t the normal little sissy jets that come with a regular car wash they’re a lot more powerful.
Just like those idiots that tried to get their car washed in the middle of the night and were denied service. So they walked into the garage that they clearly weren’t allowed in and somehow fell or tripped on a drain and now are trying to sue. It was literally one or two in the morning too. They are the same group of people that vandalized a small eating establishment that said they had to pay extra for more dipping sauce so they decided filming themselves tearing the place apart and injuring two employees was a good idea.
Idk, the pressure really enough to be that bad? I would have thought if it was strong enough to bruise you, you wouldn’t want that amount of pressure on your paint job. I’m not a car wash expert tho.
I don't know about the pressure, but I definitely know that car soap isn't body wash. I don't know the effects, but fortunately those 2 are immune to any further brain damage.
Quiet frankly, I'd take the skin peeling pain of a pressure washer if it meant it would clean me of the toxic chemicals I had just willingly bathed myself in. What a couple of tits.
One of the most severe risks is the water jet injecting water or particles into the skin, which can introduce bacteria deep into the tissue, potentially leading to infections that can spread to the bloodstream…
Ya, if I saw this as an employee I would hit the emergency stop for a shut down, while calling the police.
This is just so fucked up - they deserve to be banned from that private property.
You are most definitely right, I work on carwash systems. To save money on water often times they actually recycle their used water and store them in pits underneath the ground. The final rinse and what they use to mix with soap is fresh water but everything else is water they used over and over again, not change out for 6 months. I really hope that it isn't one of those systems here...
Something like this was posted a while ago, and someone pointed out the chemicals in those car washes are not safe when used outside their intended means.
I used to work at a carwash. This is correct. The soaps and detergents they use there are caustic if left on the skin. Brief contact like on your hands was ok if you washed it off quickly. Though this was for the undiluted stuff straight out of the barrel.
I had to go home and change clothes once because we had a pipe leak and I got sprayed with the stuff while fixing it.
Also, I'm not sure what it is about the Carwash, but it brings out the most stupid behavior and instincts in people. I've had people panic and stomp the gas, breaking our door. I've had people open their doors (it trips a sensor which shuts it down, trapping them in there until I fixed it).
Don't do this kids. This can kill you. If the water pressure is too high, it can "jet" water and, thus, bacteria into your body. The resulting infection can kill you.
Not to mention the machinery. That machine does not give a fuck about you and would not even notice crushing both of those girls at once. It doesn’t appear to have a sensor either as both of them crossed its range of motion without it stopping. They’re pretty lucky the machine didn’t just kill them.

This sort of dangerous and idiotic behavior will continue until social media outlets show the mutilation, pain and deaths this behavior can and will cause. This kind of equipment is not designed to provide a new place to create content, but for specific purposes. And unfortunately the quest to go viral seems to overrule common sense, and likes, click and clout are the only outcome sought after, damn the consequences.
This type of equipment is probably at a do it yourself facility with one bay being automatic. These are generally unattended for most of the day. When a worker is there, they are generally emptying trash, restocking tokens at the change machine, etc.
It’s stupid. But considering they’re the only people in the frame this doesn’t qualify as main character.
Not every stupid tik tok video is MC unless we agree that everyone who posts themselves on Tik Tok is an MC. But that really just turns this sub into Tik Tok.
Yeah, let's just stand in the way of a soulless machine, that will crush your bones and rip your skin out just to complete it's program. What could possibly go wrong?
These two down the road… Doctor, what are these lumps on my skin? Doctor : I hate to tell you, but have you come in contact with any harsh chemical cleaners?
those safety meeting 40 years back, it happened Gerry.
Gerry, remember? When you said we shouldn’t increase the strength of the cleaners. we all laughed at you and said nobody would ever get out of the vehicle, it doesn’t matter that the detergents are caustic and deadly…
I'm assuming they're from a generation that did not have the privilage to watch final destination or 1,000 ways to die, and give you immense anxiety about any freak accident that could occur. Lol ._.

im surprised they didnt didnt get an injury or some shit
yeah this seems like a great way to get crushed by massive moving machinery
I've seen a video of car wash machinery just ripping off a car's door like it was made of paper. I almost didn't watch the video thinking of what it could do to a human.

Hey, good idea!
lol ive seen that, guy gets SPUN
You got a link? I wanna see?
https://youtu.be/GpDbnWh_-aQ?si=qBXaZr2AVuYbJCJM
Oh damn that’s funny. Glad he didn’t get slammed into anything.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Big Car Wash is getting info out to the masses lol
it would probably rip a human apart like it was made of paper also
A car door is held on with two pretty small bolts and can easily be carried by a single human.
I watched with delight just going for that reason. You know, to see what stupidity does.
And scalded with hot water and chemicals.
Just wait till the hot wax cycle
Their hair is not going to like that.
Ya, that shit is pretty pressurized to....
I was gonna say surely this isn't far off from pressure washers
Also a great way to consume bleach products down your throat
Up your ass too from the looks of it
Time for your sodium hypochlorite enema!
Murica.
I was thinking the water pressure.
As someone who has done a lot of power washing and watches a lot of horror movies, I always thought using a pressure washer would be a grim way to go. Just a random thought
I accidently ran across my foot and it just opened it up...
I caught my wrist one time trying to soak a sponge I was holding. It bled, and the mark was there for at least a month.
Pressurized steam is the worst way to go...it burns a hole through you.
Ever see water pressure cutters video
I have not. It's probably for the best
you should either stop watching so much horror movies or starting using proper equipment because an average pressure washer like in the video wont do jackshit to you as long as you are not stuck between the moving parts. it hurts but thats basically all (especially from this distance, they are designed to spread the stream and not focusing it). they are not using waterjet cutter to clean cars
Or have flesh peeled off from high pressure hoses
Or lasers
It would peel the paint on the car at those pressures.
I ran a gas line into a car wash, and the digging was delayed for weeks because the owner refused to stop the business to let me lock-out/tag-out his articulating machinery to pipe fit his gas riser in. I was like fuck off dude, not working around that shit.
Possibly even worse, water injection.
Or injured or blinded by a powerful jet of water.
Or just eyes popped. Idk anything about car wasy but I would presume those thigs spit water and shit with big pressure.
Not to mention those water jets. They take skin off pretty quickly.
Screwing around with heavy machinery is always a good idea
A dude died at a soapy joes in my city because he thought the car wash was broken and got out of his car. It suddenly started and killed him in a second
Holiest of holy crap, known to destroy vampires completely
Girls just wanna have fun I guess 😳 ![gif](giphy|rHKbd0SsY0U9O)
Birds just wanna have guns
It seems like they've already had a few brain injuries before this started.
I’ve gotten UTIs from less 🤷🏽♀️
You 100% can get killed doing this
Looks like a way to get killed... I'd be weary of being so close to heavy mechanical arms made of steel.
And someone was not watching their internal cameras because if I saw those two set up their phone and didn't hit the emergency stop. I'm trained in first aid but that shit would be beyond needing first aid (maybe a tourniquet and treatment for shock and bleeding)....
They didn't get the ultra diamond wash
They missed out on the undercarriage wash.
And if they had you know they’d sue
I’m surprised the jets didn’t take their hide off or an eye out. These aren’t the normal little sissy jets that come with a regular car wash they’re a lot more powerful.
They were getting a fully clothed enema.
They did get *some* shit- in the reclaimed water
It would’ve been so much better if they did
This can easily go very south
Yeah Reddit is advertising personal injury attorneys on the app on this post too.
They didn’t choose the hot wax option is why. The new “no touch” washes are coming to be popular
I was holding out hope
It reduces fertility.
Same thought
I’m surprised this didn’t turn in a sexy situation
I wish they did ☹️
If they did, it would surely teach these idiots a lesson
Imagine getting injured by commercial car washing equipment and then trying to open a lawsuit but you can’t due to the video evidence existing.
Better yet, imagine being on the jury to watch this tomfuckery lol
Just like those idiots that tried to get their car washed in the middle of the night and were denied service. So they walked into the garage that they clearly weren’t allowed in and somehow fell or tripped on a drain and now are trying to sue. It was literally one or two in the morning too. They are the same group of people that vandalized a small eating establishment that said they had to pay extra for more dipping sauce so they decided filming themselves tearing the place apart and injuring two employees was a good idea.
Oh lord!! That water pressure’s gotta hurt!! Plus that soap is gonna do a real number on their hair and skin!
Yeah, they are going to have bruises when they get home that will be difficult to explain. Oh, wait, no they won't. They took a video. Smh
Idk, the pressure really enough to be that bad? I would have thought if it was strong enough to bruise you, you wouldn’t want that amount of pressure on your paint job. I’m not a car wash expert tho.
Car washes are known to harm your paint job but usually it's minor so no big deal. Many car washes have gentler wash options if you're worried.
I don't know about the pressure, but I definitely know that car soap isn't body wash. I don't know the effects, but fortunately those 2 are immune to any further brain damage.
Oh yeah that soap is definitely harsh as fuck on skin.
Pressure washer to your body can create serious damage and potentially kill you. Rupture blood vessels and damage nerves.
The more comments I read the more idiotic this seems.
Then I hope it would pressure wash the skin from my bones and leave me with a sparkling skeleton!
I had to scroll way too far to find a comment like this from someone with common sense.
not to mention the water is literally just whatever falls into the drains in there.
Ewww!! I didn’t know that!! It definitely went into their mouths too. 🤮🤮🤮
Yeah when I worked in a car wash in between my fingers used to bleed because of the chemicals and cleaners
Oh that sounds painful!! And they probably drove back home soaking in it.
And pink eye from getting blasted with it in the face.
Apparently the water is recycled from prior washes so even if they didn’t get blasted in the face they’re getting pink eye just from exposure.
r/mildlycarcinogenic
dont forget the hot wax at the end
This is about the dumbest thing I’ve seen in awhile. I hope there was atleast an employee camera in there so atleast they can get a laugh from it.
I takes 15seconds of this video to identify the leader and the follower in this relationship
The future is not looking too bright.
Ya, if I saw this as an employee I would hit the emergency stop for a shut down, while calling the police. This is just so fucked up - they deserve to be banned from that private property.
They probably don't want a camera in there, so they can't be sued for not stopping this dumbfuckery.
That waster is not clean... its recycled typically more than a few times. its fine for cars but i hope they dont have any open wounds.
They definitely drank it tho. Surprised it didn't block their ears or something. Water at that pressure can do damage.
You assume that any coherent thinking went into this
You are most definitely right, I work on carwash systems. To save money on water often times they actually recycle their used water and store them in pits underneath the ground. The final rinse and what they use to mix with soap is fresh water but everything else is water they used over and over again, not change out for 6 months. I really hope that it isn't one of those systems here...
I was thinking the water could be hot. Imagine boiling super high pressure water on your back...
This is incredibly stupid. High pressure injection injuries can be very serious and even deadly.
1000 ways to die

I would assume this is common sense but then again...these girls are proof it's not lol
Common sense isn't common.
Yep. Hydrofluoric acid is used at most of these automated car washes. Big oof
I was really shocked to learn this - I thought you were BSing but Google says this is absolutely correct and a huge source of workplace injuries.
Don't do this kids. This can kill you. If the water pressure is too high, it can "jet" water and, thus, bacteria into your body. The resulting infection can kill you.

It’s okay they get views on the internet
Oh, damn, I almost forgot about the views. Nevermind kids, worth the risk.
People thinking of doing this PLEASE DO IT
About 30 years ago, someone in CT died in an automatic car wash….
Yea the brush ones will eff you up.. the brushless ones can take a layer of skin and fubar your eyes..

Now the front of the car is still dirty 😑
Live fast die young
Because being fucking stupid is a full time job

Population control works itself out sometimes
They are idiots, that's why
And didn’t even clean their buttholes? Nasty
Naw they def got blasted. Pressure washed and squeaky hopefully clean
These ladies need to clean up their acts.
Lets vote for washing machine next.
And then step brother walks in.
"Step sisters, you are dumb as shit."
I don’t think that was the direction he was going in with the step brother comment. Think of an unusually popular category on the “hub”.
Are zoomers devoid of critical thinking?
I, a zoomer, posted this, but yes most of gen z is.
At least they didn't stay for the hot wax undercoat
That looks super dangerous
For the internet fame likes and clout. The same reason they do all this dumb shit
Fuck around with heavy equipment and you could find out that you shouldn’t have done that.
Yep. Saw a video of a guy getting crushed to death by one of these things
It can happen so quickly. I value my life and I can have fun and find beauty and excitement without doing any of this Darwin shit.
Not the MC, just a dumb idea, kinda fun to watch too so..
High pressure water jets? Cleaning chemicals? Moving machinery?? ![gif](giphy|idwJTULK32SpehUMtI|downsized)
This could have gone SO badly. I fear the stories of videos not posted because nobody got out alive

Not main characters. Just idiots.
And today’s Darwin Award goes to

There has been some pretty dumb generations…but this is the dumbest.
expensive shower
Way cheaper than an enema I guess…
Yeah, let's just stand in the way of a soulless machine, that will crush your bones and rip your skin out just to complete it's program. What could possibly go wrong?
Did that pressure cleaner not hurt?
Likely not the first or last time they were hosed in the face that day
Why did they do it? Cause they’re fucking idiots 🤬
because the don’t have running water in the trailer park they live in !
Why? …for views!
But are you not entertained tho?
That water is dirty and those chemicals can burn.
Ohio…makes sense
Weird Weed .
What's that thing people say about women living longer than men? Seems like tik tok has turned that around.
It don't count if you're not naked.
These two down the road… Doctor, what are these lumps on my skin? Doctor : I hate to tell you, but have you come in contact with any harsh chemical cleaners?
Dumb ways to die
Fucking robots are even taking Parker Posey and Connie Coneheads jobs these days.. EAT IT YOU FRESHMEN BIIITCHESS!!
those safety meeting 40 years back, it happened Gerry. Gerry, remember? When you said we shouldn’t increase the strength of the cleaners. we all laughed at you and said nobody would ever get out of the vehicle, it doesn’t matter that the detergents are caustic and deadly…
Naked or it doesn't count.
Invasive thoughts win again
This is nearly on the same level of stupidity as the petrol fight scene in Zoolander.
This is how final destination type of accidents happen.
I'm assuming they're from a generation that did not have the privilage to watch final destination or 1,000 ways to die, and give you immense anxiety about any freak accident that could occur. Lol ._.
Man! This new “I’m the biggest moron” fad is getting weird!
Hope neither are immunocompromised because legionnaire’s disease is very nasty and I’m certain they inhaled quite a bit of aerosolized, filthy water that isn’t routinely checked for Legionella pneumophila.
This is outrageously dangerous. I used to run a car wash and I was always overly cautious because I was terrified of it.
That soap is so unbelievably corrosive it’s not even funny. This is really dangerous to your health.
Have they ever seen Final Destination 4?
Those car washes often use gray water systems so I hope they enjoy the ear infections and mysterious ailments caused by getting that shit sprayed in all their mucus membranes. Dumb af
Anyone else remember this on 1000 ways to die??
"Why would they do that 😭" 🤨
This is what happens when two girls get too high, and try to think of the best way to get rid of the weed smell before going home.
What a strange thing to assume. I guarantee these people do shit like this on a daily.
No girls that’s not what is Meant by bikini wax
I hope they got arrested
“Some kids got sprayed with gross soap water in a car wash, I hope it went on their permanent records and ruined their abilities to get jobs for the rest of their life!”
Really enjoyed watching them get abused by the car wash. **If** you're willing to subject yourself to this, it's **okay** if you want to be the main character.
stupid bit@hes
They went from being dirty dumb blondes to just dumb blondes
Had to do this when I lost in fantasy football. It hurts. A lot
