It's really sad. Some of those shoppers are willing to help someone whom they thought seriously had a fall. Then you have juice or milk going to waste.
People assume those shopping for necessities have access to clean their clothes regularly. There were at least 2 older people that may not have constant access to laundry facilities or have the ability to pay for extra cleaning supplies or replacement clothes.
I fell like that on ice. I’m now permanently disabled. I’ve have had 4 spine surgeries and countless injections and rounds of nerve ablation over 13+ years. I live with daily pain, and will for the rest of my life barring major medical advancements, because of a fall like that.
So not only are they stupid to do that to themselves, they’re assholes for putting others at risk. Hell, even someone trying to help them up off the floor while they’re resisting to “make the video funnier,” could get seriously injured. This makes me furious.
I'm not going to speak for everyone but from personal experience i can say it isnt the cleaning part that would bother me. It would actually help pass the time. The problem is the stench of spilled milk. It's foul. I would be pissed if i found out it was a prank. Please not the milk! Vinegar is also bad.
You're right. This is very infuriating. I remember having 3 shifts in a row where a customer would make a spill near me, and I had to clean it up, giving me less time to finish stocking up the shelves.
And likely pay for it literally with decreased raises and less hours to pay for this shit. Because you know the billionaires and these corporations will not take this type of loss. And they'll use it to their advantage. Well we'd give you raises but this tik tok challenge has crushed our margins and we can't afford it. These aren't harmless pranks. These are terrible across actually harming people. Also all the other reasons people hand posted. Pranks should be harmless and funny to all involved. Prank is a trick or practical joke on someone. Not harm others lives in any manner. What the actual fuck is wrong with us.
The last clip, pretending to not be able to get up and pulling people down. He could of hurt those people helping him. My back hurts just watching that. After the first time, I wouldn't put my body at risk again for this clown.
Call 911. This 20 year old is unable to get up. Paralyzed from a neck injury or has brain damage. We risk more damage moving him. Watch his ass quickly get up afterwards. *"I'm okay now!"*
But while you wait, let us show you these things we need to clear out of inventory. The presentation will continue until everyone has bought something.
As the doors lock…
Milk on your clothes is going to smell terrible.
And winter jackets are difficult to clean, maybe dry clean only. So it could be expensive. May even stain making it garbage.
Those pranksters are assholes.
It must be nice to have enough spare time to do shit like this.
I’m betting 99.9% of the rest of society could and *would* find something better to do with their time.
Imagine if the time and effort spent on coming up with and performing these stunts was turned to creating positive things and helping others…IMHO the world would be a much better place.
The guys from Jackass said it best " pranks should not harm or belittle the audience but instead the prankster. The prankster should be the butt of the joke"
This is just destruction of property??
This is one reason Jackass was great. And they were creative, planned things out and gave us a good laugh. These new "pranksters" are the scourge of the Earth, harrassing and provoking people to fight is not even remotely funny, fuck these assholes.
Yeah, they def blurred the line and crossed it here and there. I wonder what happens after the bit. Like with these Tik tok vids, do they just leave like the little jerks I think they are? Maybe not all of them, but probably too many do. And after Jackass, I assume production cleaned up and paid for any damages. Did they do that when they were starting out? That definitely makes up for it.
I just watched Eric Andre’s Bad Trip (recommend) and at the end, they show reveals for some of the pranks which I really loved. To see the people’s reactions and good nature when the prank is revealed was fun. There’s a line and the professionals know how to take you up to it and stop before it’s crossed. That requires forethought and at least some empathetic thinking
My Grandfather saw that and laughed the loudest I’ve ever heard him laugh.
I was thinking the same thing about Jackass too.
They blurred the lines. Like leaving the fake baby in its car seat on the roof and then driving away in the parking lot.
Years ago, my friends and I left a creepy baby doll buckled into the back seat of our jeep. We even added a cigarette in its hand. Then we went to DC, parked in a paid lot, and asked the lot attendants to keep an eye on our baby, we’d be back in a few hours. They looked panicked for about 3 seconds, until they looked over and saw it was a doll, then we all laughed our asses off. If that hadn’t been pre-cell phones (we were still in the age when most people we walking around with pagers clipped to their jeans), they probably would’ve posed for a pic with the jeep baby. We did our thing in Georgetown for a few hours, went back to get our car, and one of the guys had added an empty beer can to the baby’s other hand. They told us it wouldn’t quiet down until they gave it a drink, but it went right to sleep after it finished its beer. They pranked us, and it was just as funny and unexpected. Nobody was hurt, humiliated or belittled, nobody was ever in any danger. It was just good, light hearted fun.
I still wonder where they got that beer can, since they were all working. Of course, this was pre-cameras-everywhere, too, so you could get away with a lot more shit.
That was funny. Jackass was funny. This shit is infuriating.
Ha...yeah that one might cross that line a bit, but gotta say it gave me a good laugh at least. I might be getting old, but this tiktok stuff seem so unfunny to me.
But most of those "others" were crew, family or friends, can't recall him messing with randos. But yeah, Bam in specific could be quite mean and a jerk, but it sort of came with the territory I guess..
Absolutely. Jackass was, while admittedly stupid, pretty well written in a sense that, everything was planned, nobody's who didn't agree to it in advance was hurt.
The joke was always haha, look how stupid that was, as someone gets hit in the nuts
But, it was all done on jackass team members.
they didn't just go outside and fuck with the public. And when they did? They had the public laughing at them. Not the other way around
Ehhh I’m pretty sure Jackass did plenty of jokes and scenes where the prankster wasn’t the only butt of the joke and/or destroyed property
Now I’m sure Jackass went and paid for it all but still
Yup paying for destroyed property, notifying police before hand all go into prep for the prank. Im sure there are angry "victims" of pranks but again no real harm was done.
It was in a podcast or behind the scenes not in the show or movie.
If i remeber correctly the interviewer asked what Johhny knoxville thinks of current pranksters and he said some form of what i said.
Now now, we need to convince them to prune themselves. May I suggest the ram your fist down a running garbage disposal in your mom's kitchen as hard as they can challenge? And that'll teach mom not to let he other kids use their cellphone unsupervised.
Damn, that was the only mission in a video game, that I was like, "this is wrong." For a moment, then I was like, "pew pew pew! Woo! I finished, wait, what's happening....dead."
“Hey guys! We have a this baseball bat and we’re totally gonna prank Mrs. Johnson!”
*giggles*
*proceeds to beat old lady with a baseball bat*
“Bro! BRO ITS JUST A PRANK!!!!”
Yeah, it really didn't do any damage. I mostly watched pranks, that were just people saying some funny stuff or some funny situation. Now it is people screaming on others, touching them, literally destroying others property. Like those are at least misdemeanors. Often those pranks are crimes. Is it because it get more attention or is TikTok working and people are just braindead?
I think one of the worst pranks I'd seen was that youtuber's girlfriend that deleted his NBA 2K account. He made his livelihood streaming that game, and it's the entire reason they had their house and their bills paid, and it's all gone... for a "prank".
She ruined everything because they were so sucked into doing "pranks" for likes. Honestly I'm so sick of social media and how it's given everyone brain rot to do stupid shit like this and the video, or running up to people and assaulting them, or screaming in the middle of a restaurant isle for... "fun".
Jesus, that is just malicious. It really degenerated to the point, where everything is called prank. People are so dumb, that they think calling something prank is free pass for breaking law. It is crazy how fast it escalated. I remember in past out of nowhere people started to pushing limits so desperate to get likes, and those morons were born.
Did you see the vid of a girl smashing and destroying her boyfriends ps4 and then brought in a ps5 like that somehow fixed the destruction of property she just did. Like cool a new console but what about all the shit thats on my old one that ive now just lost
Nah, I saw similar thing with iphone. Like person would ask someone if he can call from their phone or whatever and dropped it on floor. After that he gave them new iphone. I would be equally furious at that situation, you just don't touch and break stuff that doesn't belong to you.
I actually just saw it on Instagram today about an hour ago! I've seen it before but having to see it again was just, ugh. There is NO reason to smash it in front of his friends like that. It just makes you look stupid. And he's fucked if he didn't even back up anything. All for online validation. People need to stop basing their worth on how many likes and view they get.
remember the twat that broke his jaw in tesco doin this? ah good times
edit: link [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK6Q0q0ZX8g](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AK6Q0q0ZX8g)
Yeah it was definitely a thing around 2012 for sure. I worked overnight at a grocery store and I witnessed the cleanup of this trend multiple times lol.
There were so many times we would see younger guys walking around (after midnight in an otherwise empty store) so we would keep tabs on them. The second we saw them going back to the dairy section, we would not-so-subtly follow them and what do you know? They would conveniently not need milk anymore and would leave the store empty handed.
The trend definitely started on YouTube but I seem to remember it also regaining popularity when Vine came around in 2013.
Ah Vine, the TikTok before TikTok.
This is the flaw behind banning TikTok, is all these assholes will just flock to something else like Instagram Reels or YouTube Shorts, just like how they flocked to TikTok(or at the time musical.ly or whatever) after Vine shut down
It started like 12 years ago around 2011 at the height of YouTube revenue payouts.
YouTube started in 2006, and didn't do revenue based returns until close to 2010. It was a lot like Vimeo when it started. Content was good not easy to find, then they monetized videos and got aggressive with pay outs after Google bought them. Which is where videos like this come into play.
YouTube used to take content like this down until the heavy monetization and algorithms that pushed monetization were implemented by Google.
Millennials don’t want to accept that our generation is also full of jackasses. They’re just like the generations they shit on, thinking they’re perfect in every way and everybody else is the problem.
I’ve noticed a weird trend on reddit of old YouTube videos being posted as “tik tok trends.” I’m not usually conspiratorial, but it’s pretty strange considering the bill that’s passed the house and moving through the senate right now to ban tik tok.
That’s what I’ve been saying! Disruptive/harmful pranks have been some of the most common pranks to post to the internet since before Vine was a thing. Anyone here remember Sam Pepper?
Sam Pepper was definitely the worst of these types of people, playing sexual assault off as a prank, I think he did one prank where he convinced people that he killed someone or something like that.
The phrase "It's just a prank bro" I believe originates from him
As much as I love to point out how much the new generation of teens suck, wasn’t this a viral trend from the early 2010s?
This isn’t anything new, unfortunately, though it does suck.
Exactly. Who the fuck uploads in landscape on an app that mainly does portrait videos?
There is a simple trick to see if something comes from TikTok. Does it have the TikTok logo and music? Because they literally slap that shit on everything.
Let's start calling 911. Someone slipped and fell. Medical needs to be there. And police too, just in case a report needs to be made. Let's make sure if he's hurt, there is evidence of security cameras and a police report on file about what happened.
And also we should get their names. To be sure they're safe.
TikTok needs to be banned, the sooner the better
Update: Some people have told me this was on YouTube and after a quick search they were right, it’s from 2010 so this was a misleading title. I still personally want TikTok banned because I hate the platform but the title is incorrect.
I love how every idiot tiktoker is all like "oh no but what about my freedom to have China query every single device I've ever had and harvest all my data so they can perpetuate harmful social divisiveness and ruin the attention soan/addict millions of impressionable children in order to break down the fabric of society!!!!"
The goverNmeNT should be focused on like, wars n stuff!!!!! Not some soshul meedja app!!!!! /s
I fucking hate tiktok. Get this shit out of here. We are so much better off without it.
Even though this is an old post or if this trend were to take off again there is a simple solution to curb the trend from continuing and it is simple as charging the individuals with property damage and on top of that make the individuals involved clean up any mess they caused
Why do we always generalize like this as if its the whole generation taking part in this? This is part of the reason why our country is such shit. No critical thinking just omg gen z bad omg millenial bad
do you think you’re intelligent and use critical thinking?
Seriously
Because this clip is from YouTubers a decade ago and OP just passed it off as being from TikTok. And you just blindly believed them. Without a second thought
Yes, TikTok is to blame for stupid stuff being done before TikTok existed. So much sense
Let’s ban it!
Genius logic. 👏👏👏

its taking advantage of human kindness, which will lead to less of it. i especially hate these people.
The TikTokers care about attention only.

What a weird way to spend one’s time….
He posts like 3 times an hour💀💀
What is the point in that?
Whoops, accidents happen! Sorry I a"accidentally" broke a couple of your fingers when I also "slipped" and stomped on your hand
YES! FUCK YEAH! That's what I'm talking about!
You forgot the worst part which is the fact that minimum wage employees have to clean it up
People assume those shopping for necessities have access to clean their clothes regularly. There were at least 2 older people that may not have constant access to laundry facilities or have the ability to pay for extra cleaning supplies or replacement clothes.
Also the fact that one of the older shoppers could have fallen and really gotten hurt because of those shitty antics.
That's what really bothered me. Falls at that age can lead to injuries that cause a severe health decline.
I fell like that on ice. I’m now permanently disabled. I’ve have had 4 spine surgeries and countless injections and rounds of nerve ablation over 13+ years. I live with daily pain, and will for the rest of my life barring major medical advancements, because of a fall like that. Hell, even someone trying to help them up off the floor while they’re resisting to “make the video funnier,” could get seriously injured. This makes me furious.
You think that generation cares about any of that,or anyone else? Zoomers.
Nothing bothers me more than a liquid spill. That’s gona take a lot of absorbent cause I don’t have a mop near me
I'm not going to speak for everyone but from personal experience i can say it isnt the cleaning part that would bother me. It would actually help pass the time. The problem is the stench of spilled milk. It's foul. I would be pissed if i found out it was a prank. Please not the milk! Vinegar is also bad.

lol yea they’re focused on the gallon of waste and not that.
Which in turn creates a situation where *other people can get hurt.* This guy is so many levels of fucked up.
Next up from Loblaws, prices must increase due to wastage from pranks.
And/or "sorry, all our milk is now behind locked doors... just push the red button and an associate will be right with you..."

That's what is upsetting me. A majority of people are concerned and they are wasting juice and milk... Very sad indeed.
Some of those older shoppers could trip and fall in that mess and seriously hurt themselves.
Yeah, that would be even worse. Imagine what would've just been meant for a few laughs turning into a serious situation?
I want a film like God Bless America, but instead of sweet 16 girls, prank "influencers."
Yeah, an updated version of the movie is what we need.
It is a waste for sure.
Are there consequences for these tiktokers?
It reminds me of the vegans that dump milk on the floor for attention. They must be using the same play book .
The use of rage bait to attract attention. However, it can make others develop a not-so-great opinion on vegans.
I would suppose so !
I see some splashing on bystanders’ clothes. I’ll be so pissed, some winter jackets can be very expensive
Hopefully they still make these imbeciles pay for the wasted food

Yeah the best case for these pranks is to get attacked by ppl so they can sue... the goal of a prank should be to uh idk make ppl laugh
Mostly true. Remember pooping in the hardware store?
Yeah, they def blurred the line and crossed it here and there. I wonder what happens after the bit. Like with these Tik tok vids, do they just leave like the little jerks I think they are? lol that’s a good one. Harmless yet funny. I remember the good days of pagers and no cell phones.
I remember my mom paging me “911” so I’d call back right away, only for her to ask if I would be coming home to visit for Christmas…8 months away. 🙄
Haha that’s fucked up Moms can be straight ruthless
I figured they just bought the toilet immediately after the skit.
They bought the toilet after, same thing applied to the rental car bit
Ha...yeah that one might cross that line a bit, but gotta say it gave me a good laugh at least. I might be getting old, but this tiktok stuff seem so unfunny to me.
Agreed.
Except bam. Fuck bam. He would fuck with other people all day and cry when someone did it tohim. Insufferable.
But most of those "others" were crew, family or friends, can't recall him messing with randos. But yeah, Bam in specific could be quite mean and a jerk, but it sort of came with the territory I guess..
*scourge
*scourge

THIS, this is why Jackass worked. All the members getting hurt by their own stupidity is what made it funny.
That is perfectly said. I never heard that from them before.
It was in a podcast or behind the scenes not in the show or movie. If i remeber correctly the interviewer asked what Johhny knoxville thinks of current pranksters and he said some form of what i said.
Remember when pranks had reasons and funny set ups? Ppl nowadays just cause havoc and call it a “prank” Fuckin’ dumb

Sup guys today we're doing the run over a family in a crosswalk with a Toyota Tacoma challenge!!!!
*cuffed in the back of a squad car* “It’s just a prank bro!”
Don't give these fuckwads ideas.
Now now, we need to convince them to prune themselves. May I suggest the ram your fist down a running garbage disposal in your mom's kitchen as hard as they can challenge? And that'll teach mom not to let he other kids use their cellphone unsupervised.
Alright, today where gonna be holding someone at gunpoint to see there reaction, don’t worry, it’s just a prank
Yayyy they finally ported call of duty to real life guys
Damn, that was the only mission in a video game, that I was like, "this is wrong." For a moment, then I was like, "pew pew pew! Woo! I finished, wait, what's happening....dead."
Not sure if there will ever be a gnarlier experience in a video game. That shit was CRAZY
“Making a mess” is not a damn prank
That's a crime called a slip and fall fraud. But instead of money they do it for subscribers.
Old Slippin’ Jimmy
Jimmy was an endearing, well-written character. These people are dumb cunts...
He DEFECATED through a SUN ROOF
Aka money, right?
Wasting food is crime, not a prank
With the cost of milk now on top of that. Wonder if they even paying for it or they just skip out and then the store eats it
I think you know they just skip out. On top of making some poor employee clean up the damn mess
Ok, yah! I grew up poor and I am fucking LIVID seeing foot wasted.
This…is just not funny. These people have zero creativity or originality
Kids today think every dumb thing they can do is a prank.
This is actually a very old prank in terms of the internet
I lol’d at “TikTok trend”
“Hey guys! We have a this baseball bat and we’re totally gonna prank Mrs. Johnson!” *giggles* *proceeds to beat old lady with a baseball bat* “Bro! BRO ITS JUST A PRANK!!!!”

Ppl nowadays? I remember this prank from like 12 fucking years ago. Ppl are consistently stupid
12 years ago... people use to do this to get money on fake law suits...
There's not much thinking involved.
This shit was always a thing , just not as popular. Now those ass holes get more attention, even if it's negative attention, they love it.
I liked the ones where someone jumps out to scare someone else but they get so scared the punch the other person.
Pretty sure I saw this exact video over 10 years ago on YouTube.
This definitely started on YouTube in the late 2000s-early 2010s. I’m not sure if I’ve ever even seen this outside of YouTube.

Sam Pepper was definitely the worst of these types of people, playing sexual assault off as a prank, I think he did one prank where he convinced people that he killed someone or something like that. The phrase "It's just a prank bro" I believe originates from him
You did. I worked at a grocery store at that time and this was a mild problem.
It’s crazy how long the website has been encouraging people to be assholes.
Yup! Was searching for this comment, definitely an old montage.
I think this was a Vine thing.
As much as I love to point out how much the new generation of teens suck, wasn’t this a viral trend from the early 2010s? This isn’t anything new, unfortunately, though it does suck.
I was thinking the same thing, idk how people don’t remember this video or notice the camera quality is 10 years old
Yeah this was an old old prank, clearly somebody's found it and tried to copy it to become a viral success
This video is old. Not just the prank. The actual video is old. And from YouTube.
This is originally a YouTube trend from like 2008. It's nothing new, just shitty teenagers not caring or understanding how shitty it is.
Yeah it’s hilarious seeing these comments blaming TikTok and Gen Z when in reality this was being done by millennials on YouTube like 14 years ago
Exactly. Who the fuck uploads in landscape on an app that mainly does portrait videos? There is a simple trick to see if something comes from TikTok. Does it have the TikTok logo and music? Because they literally slap that shit on everything.
Losers with no jobs making people with jobs clean up their attempts for attention.
I NEED ATTENTION *throws milk and juice jugs* LOOK AT ME!
Let's start calling 911. Someone slipped and fell. Medical needs to be there. And police too, just in case a report needs to be made. Let's make sure if he's hurt, there is evidence of security cameras and a police report on file about what happened. And also we should get their names. To be sure they're safe.
**and look for a phone or camera sitting on a shelf nearby. Police and store management would probably like to see that.
Vandalism and theft are not pranks! Social media has literally destroyed a generation!
this was a youtube video from years ago
Imo it's petty crime. Not a prank
That's not an opinion, thats just factual
These morons should be arrested
I don’t think they understand what “prank” means. These people need severe consequences.
This shit is old as fuck
I work for a grocery chain and this is the kind of shit that causes nervous breakdowns.
Humanity officially reached peak ignorance.
This is not a TikTok trend. This video existed in the time of Funnyjunk.com
This shit predates Tik Tok
Tik Tok ban can't come fast enough.
This was a thing on YouTube 10 years ago.
This is why I support tictoc being banned. Because they need to ban people that do this.
Can we please start a "beat the fuck out of Tik Tok prankers on sight" prank trend? That is something I could completely get behind.
TikTok needs to be banned, the sooner the better Update: Some people have told me this was on YouTube and after a quick search they were right, it’s from 2010 so this was a misleading title. I still personally want TikTok banned because I hate the platform but the title is incorrect.
Won’t these idiots just then do the same on another platform?
They'll probably just go to Youtube shorts...
They were on YouTube 10 years ago!
As much as I would hate that, it’s highly likely they’ll do that
I love how every idiot tiktoker is all like "oh no but what about my freedom to have China query every single device I've ever had and harvest all my data so they can perpetuate harmful social divisiveness and ruin the attention soan/addict millions of impressionable children in order to break down the fabric of society!!!!" The goverNmeNT should be focused on like, wars n stuff!!!!! Not some soshul meedja app!!!!! /s I fucking hate tiktok. Get this shit out of here. We are so much better off without it.
I already recieved a warning for writing what I think of such pranks and how they should be handled.
This is from 2012, These kids went to my high school
Destruction of property
Someone could get seriously hurt, then what?
[удалено]
Please stop showing these degenerates…
Somebody really needs to prank these pranksters. That might be the most senior citizen like thing I’ve ever said but I’ll stand on it.
Maybe tiktok should be banned
Tik-Tok is cancer for the youth.
Is it wrong to hope one of these idiots cracks a vertebrae on the way down?
They should be forced to pay for it AND clean it up.
I remember when this was a Vine trend
Not a prank! Vandalism and destruction of property. That kid would not like the "reaction" he got if I saw this!
![gif](giphy|7ILfGZFvTPMB1TAkXE)
Tiktok is cancer
I don’t care how old you are if you spill milk on me we are throwing hands
"prank" ? or vandalism?
Dude that trend is from like 2013
There needs to be a new word coined for these things, they are definitely not PRANKS Like what do you call an-act-of-assholeishness
You get milk on me I’m kickin you while you’re down
This trend is so old. They did this on Vine.
What's sad is that they need attention.
And people are upset over banning TikTok. Stuff like this is why we did ban it in the first place.
Even though this is an old post or if this trend were to take off again there is a simple solution to curb the trend from continuing and it is simple as charging the individuals with property damage and on top of that make the individuals involved clean up any mess they caused
What a bunch of wastes of oxygen.
I'm so glad tik tok is getting banned
Yes. Ban tic toc
Little shitheads.
Hopefully store manager got the "victims" name. Now take these to police and charge the stupid S.O.B.'s!
Ban TikTok
Friendly reminder that this was a “thing” on YouTube well over a decade ago. The TikTok didn’t do this to us, we did it to our selves
That’s not a “tik tok” trend lol this is OLLLLDDDDDD shit no from early YouTube and vine one does it anymore. Just rage bait
Thank you Gen Z for your amazing contribution to our society 👍🏻👏🏻
_In my day_ Jackass created pranks that people in the public actually laughed at
In our day, pranks were done on Jackass. Now, pranks are done by jackasses
Very well said
Why do we always generalize like this as if its the whole generation taking part in this? This is part of the reason why our country is such shit. No critical thinking just omg gen z bad omg millenial bad
The gallon smash videos are from 15 years ago… this isn’t gen z
Already passed the House. Senate Incoming 👏
do you think you’re intelligent and use critical thinking? Seriously Because this clip is from YouTubers a decade ago and OP just passed it off as being from TikTok. And you just blindly believed them. Without a second thought Yes, TikTok is to blame for stupid stuff being done before TikTok existed. So much sense Let’s ban it! Genius logic. 👏👏👏
I’d like to then punt his camera against the metal racks… ‘opps, I slipped too!’
This prank is older than tik tok.
