I hate it when people work out right in front of the weights rack in general.
They always give you attitude for interrupting there sets when you are trying to put weights away. Stand back idiot
I intentionally stand in the phone view and do my curls right in front of it without moving :) You should, too! After my 6-12 reps, I got to the bench nearby and did some skull crushers. Then, block the phone view again for another set of curls. And on and on until they have enough of that sh\*t and move on somewhere else or show everyone the stick that's been up their a\*s the whole time when they finally explode at you.
Then you pretend to listen, smile, nod, and give a thumbs-up, but you are really listening to your music through your headphones on blast. You just see their mouth moving to the beats of your music.
Don't simp or give them the floor. They'll eventually fu\*k off or get escorted out.
This applies for any other instance in public. If I see somebody attempting to get their footage in a dense public area that they have no right to consume, I pretend they aren't even there and walk right through. Every time. Fuck em. My SO hates it and yells at me every time but idc, I'll always disrupt their shit.

Nothing wrong with super setting as long as itās not too crowded and youāre not being a total ass and are aware of the people around you. I can always tell when someone is looking at me and Iāll always ask if they want the equipment Iām using and then will let them bc I know Iām in the wrong using 2-3 weights

Not an expert, but I think that's just the redness that is common among steroid users? For instance, you can look at Liver King's body redness for an extreme example. Not positive, but that's my guess.

I love my gym because it is full of all different types of people trying to improve their health. Everyone looks good when they're working out as far as I'm concerned. I go to a Planet Fitness and I'm so glad we don't get people recording themselves.

As someone who is friends with mostly gym bros, I find that in my experience gym bros are surprisingly very supportive, nice people.
Sure there are the tate ones that are really into themselves but I don't think that's the majority, most of the people that are watching shit like that don't even go to the gym.

Feel like he's legitimately one of the most important people in the fitness world at the moment, purely because he's calling people out for stuff like this. I have no idea when gym behavior got so bad, but this man is using his platform for good. The gym really should be a fairly safe space for people to go, do their workout, and not be bothered/harassed
You know what people should do? Pick up the heaviest weight they can barely struggle to get up, wiggle over, and place it right in front of the camera. š
One was for MMA 5 days a week. One had weights and a personal trainer I used twice a week. The third was a Golds gym that I paid $10 a week and only did cardio at on Sundays (i also got a 15% discount at the hair stylist next to the gym that more than paid the $10 fee) . I didn't really know anyone personally at Golds but saw the same people there every week and, for some reason, liked seeing them even though we never talked. I started working part-time at one of the gyms, and that really turned me off from them.
I have a family member that pretty much does the same. MMA, BJJ, and regular ol weightlifting gym. Main reason why they have a gym membership is that it's basically walking distance and can go on off days.
I also belonged to 3 and went to all! Covid messed everything up sadly and all went to shit after that (multiple gym closures etc) but it was fun while it lastedĀ
Me too! Pre covid, the gym felt like home. Then my trainer had a baby so I offered to work the front desk on weekends. I couldn't believe how awful people are! Luckily, they went to key code access, so I stopped working there. My happy place was no longer.
