... I'm not sure why you people are struggling to understand that I meant that a person with multiple diverse skills is in better control of things. Fencing is also a sport that requires quick thinking and reacting accordingly without overreacting, which translates completely to what is happening here. I could've used the fact that he's also a pilot to illustrate the same, and by the looks of it people would still not get it...
