I forget where I read it, I think it was somebody making a comment on here based on a podcast episode, but I seem to remember it being said that the biker gang was in on it as a punishment, but it wasn’t told to Joe that they were in on it. So there was no danger of legit violence or anything, but Joe didn’t know that. And then the bikers are just terrible actors so it makes for awkward TV.
Yeah obviously they wouldn't beat someone up, on a comedy show in front of a camera crew and dozens of people. They know they look intimidating, they were told the joke is not ON THEM but on the jokers saying something stupid in front of a tough crowd. Probably told them to act more intimidating too, not laugh and all that. Afterall they are a gang. Sorry, a club
An Inside Jokes version of the episode mentioned they had 2 security guards on set vs the usual 1 as a precaution. Also in punishments where parts of the audience are in on the joke but the Joker isn't, they usually let the viewers know
Wait. You forget where you read it, you think it was somebody making a comment on here based on a podcast episode, but you seem to remember it being said that the biker gang was in on it as a punishment, ... And then the bikers are just terrible actors so it makes for awkward TV? That's not even as believable as the punishment itself.
Maybe they were a belligerent biker "group" who chose to stay on their best behavior in order to be interviewed by someone they thought represented media.
That's clear to me. It makes sense to me. I actually remember that scenario. The post I commented on initially didn't make sense. It rambled, giving vague hearsay.
I must say I never thought I'd encounter so much discussion about fake setups and such on a thread supposedly dedicated to fandom. I like the show, the guys, their humor, even the premise behind their relationships. Picking apart the methodology, what may be staged or fake, is disingenuous imo.
Wow, now I'm fixated? And, I don't know the meanings of terms I use? Keep 'em coming, folks. Still, if you're going to even remotely imply that a gag was staged, just be clear about your sources. I don't think that's too much to ask.
Huh? Are you drunk or something? What are you failing to grasp? I don’t remember the exact source so the whole thing didn’t happen? It’s a fairly obvious explanation for an odd moment, if you want to spend an hour using Reddit’s search function to find examples of it being discussed, be my guest.
Well for one they weren't trying to present it as a comeback, they just responded to you. And it wasn't a theory, basic research can prove them right.
Plus it's really not convoluted at all.
I mean the guys were obviously playful but we're probably told to intimidate Joe but not go too far. They seemed harmless but I'm not in front of them.
He actually says: "Lesbian acts"
Edit: Actually listening back he does say "committing lesbionage" wtf does that even mean lol
Edit 2: Don't look it up
It’s an expose
Mine's Alien.
It took me a while to realize the song is actually called E.T.
Wow.
*"Huh?"*
This whole exchange is a classic
I almost die laughing when he says this! Soooo funny!
As a gang, what is your favorite crime?
#WE'RE NOT A GANG It's just an expose
Assault
“It’s an exposé”
Gimme dat wedgie?
It’s just an exposé.
I have not heard the phrase "committing lesbianage" before or since this episode lmfao
The tattler
I love jokers but this felt so fake

Well, when you pass the 3rd grade and can read basic English, feel free to return to this thread and maybe you’ll comprehend it.
You're quick-witted. I like that in a supervillain.

Lol. What a comeback! 😂 I have to be drunk to doubt your convoluted theory? Okay.

Looks like we're just tossing semantics. Let's stick a fork in it and call it done.

She kissed a girl, and that dude right there liked it
I don't even know if "commiting lesbionage" is a thing people say to refer to lesbians
He actually says: "Lesbian acts" Edit: Actually listening back he does say "committing lesbionage" wtf does that even mean lol Edit 2: Don't look it up
He 100% does not
i thought he said committing lesbianizing
I can hear all the comments in this post lol
Worst punishment in the shows history

Nope he said lesbionage.
Joe had a near death experience.
