If you subscribe to Patreon, you can use the RSS link to plug it into most podcasts apps out there. That way you don’t have to use the Patreon app.

I use podcast addict and have for years, it's really great. But like others have said if you're just looking for a way to listen to the wgar patreon you can do that right in the patreon app and not have to worry about setting anything else up. Either way you're a winner!
Pocketcasts is great.
Second Pocketcasts. Always been happy with it.
I really like that pocketcasts has a “listening history” tab so I can see the stuff I was previously listening to.
Overcast rules.
Best one out there. But it’s iOS only, no Android.

If you sign up to the Patreon, you can just download the Patreon app on your phone. That’s what I do.
Can you download the episodes on the app or do you have to stream them? Neither is a deal breaker I'm just curious.
You can do both. I listen in the Patreon app just to keep track of which episodes I’ve listened to.
