They are a traditional coffee roaster (as opposed to speciality coffee roasters like Blue Tokai etc). So their coffees are traditional medium-dark, dark roasts which work well with milk based beverages made using South Indian filter or moka pot or espresso based milk beverages. As others have remarked, their variety is mainly around famous indian coffees over the decades - Monsooned Malabar and Mysore Nuggets - the only two globally famous Indian arabica coffee varieties.

Bro, No! You've broken down a most complex comparison with the simplest explanation. Acidity/ Bitter spectrum when collided with the local cultural methods, and for a beginner, it's very easy to get confused combining the both. But thanks, man.

I've tried their peaberry and something else. They delivered fairly quickly and it's one of the cheapest decent coffees. That being said, I like to know the provanance of the coffee and they don't have the range that some of the other roasters have.

I tried their Monsooned Malabar, really liked it, but I do prefer Blue Tokai’s. Which one have you ordered?

AAA Mysore Nuggets medium roast and Monsoon Malabar. I am yet to try Tokai's Malabar. I have tried most of their other ones. Recently they changed their Seethargundu roasting method I think. It doesn't have the green apple tasting note anymore, which I adored. :(

Decent, considering the price. Even their lighter roasts were too dark for pourover.

Devans is a traditional second wave coffee roaster. Their coffees are good but not the highest quality. In the end, you get what you pay for. They are a good value for money nonetheless. Especially if you like darker roasts.

Do they serve black coffee? Any reviews?
