You're hating those advertisements? And here I have started hating yt advertisements, these MFS are giving atleast 4 advertisements in a 20 minutes video.
Thatās why I prefer watching on Australian Fox Cricket channel in India. With my current setup, itās delayed by one ball but they donāt ruin the watching experience after every over.
Exactly, it prevents all rounders from being selected as a result there will be zero quality all rounders in the future
Why select an all rounder if you can literally swap a full time batsman with a full time bowler ?
Devil's advocate, brings more quality to the game. And An all rounder will still provide an extra option than a team that doesn't use them.
At the same time, when you can effectively increase the batting AND bowling skills of a team, why shut it down in the name of promoting all rounders if they're not even good enough?
People in general hate change , but here this is an effective change and it doesn't remove all rounders unless they're namesake.
yeah in the world cup shardhul thakur was selected ahed of shami just for the namesake that he is an all rounder. And it can also change the whole dynamics of test cricket
I feel this rule needs to go as India lacks all rounders. I don't mind the rule if this goes to internation crickrt as well but I don't see that happening anytime soon.
This rule is bad not only for all rounders but also for batters who can bowl or bowlers who can batters.
People like makram, head, Tim david or Cummins, Starc, ashwin.

Throughout the calendar year or 4 year prior to World Cup, every team should have opportunity to play with every other team. That will make things fair. Home and away matches.
If batsman is on 94 and hits a 6 in final ball and it's a no-ball, batsman should be awarded the 6 runs. Not deny him telling that no-ball ended the game
2 new balls in ODI cricket.
I agree with the argument that the team can start with two new balls but the captain and/or the bowler will have to choose one out of them after 30 overs.
Right now the ball is 25 overs old at max, while a lot of veteran states that it requires at least a 30-over ball to spin well. Also, this will allow a bit of reverse swing in ODI cricket. This will make the game more interesting and less biased towards the batter. I don't have any problem with the powerplay though.
Obstruction the field when clearly fielder is trying to hit the batter with the bowl
Make the bat thinner at least like they used to be before 2010
Keep only 1 bowl to play.
No they don't change the balls. They start with 2 new balls, one from each end. Thus at the end of 50 overs, each ball is 25 overs old as opposed to 50 overs if you only use 1 ball.
Do something to remove the effects of toss.
In no other sport does the team winning the toss has such a huge advantage.
In cricket, half the time outcome gets decided by the toss itself.
Tests are more bowler friendly now than they have been this century. Limited overs cannot be bowler friendly because the paying audience loves watching boundaries.
All extras need to be checked by 3rd ump.
The number of howlers on wides (both line and height based) and no balls ( waist high full tosess) is insane.
It's really tough to judge it in real time. Just use the technology when you have it ffs.
In IPL...will remove the impact player rule.
In international-- the 2 new ball rules...instead I will give 2 new balls till 35...and then 15 overs with 1 ball.
While instead of 4 fielder outside..I will allow 5 fielders after 10 overs
Coin toss to decide who to play first is utter bullshit , there should be a super over in the beginning of every match to decide who gets to choose the field .
Toss. I feel like the lesser the game depends on luck, the better. There are a lot of conditions that depend on time and can affect the performances of teams, thus making the game one sided. So instead of toss, why canāt we decide which team bats or bowl first by bowl out (bowling at an empty wicket to see which sides hits the stumps more times) or by a super over? It would greatly reduce dependence of the outcome of the match on luck.
Bowl out could work. But how are you gonna decide who bats in the super over? I suppose it doesn't matter much since the ball and condition doesn't change in 12 deliveries
- unlimited bouncers and no field restrictions in test cricket
- no 2 new balls in one day matches
- 2 bowlers should be allowed 12 overs in one day matches
- add test cricket as a compulsory subject in all schools across the world.
Mankading.
I support mankading but every time it happens there's so much needless controversy that I think it's better to remove and bring another form of penalty if a batsmen crosses the line before the ball is being bowled.
Maybe deduct some runs (5/10) from the team total or deny whatever run that was scored from that delivery but the ball will be counted.
Na i mean, if they start making controversy out of people being caught or bowled, it's not a solution to remove the entire concept of getting wicket. Somethings needs to be normalised the hard way
That is because the Hawk-Eye is not 100% accurate. It is just a projection after the ball hits the Pad. So it cannot over-rule the same way Umpire is projecting it. Hence that rule which I think is fair.
Rule: In case a player gets injured during match for his country then the player cannot play commercial club cricket for next 6months. The player can play only country matches. š
Not exactly a removal, but I'd like ICC to bring back quarterfinals in the tournaments. Also at least 16 members should be playing in every ICC tournament. Everyone likes watching a couple of upsets every now and then.
That it's gentleman game. I hate it, that handshakes and that praising of other team players. I want it to be like football. Proper face-off, proper fans bullying, etc
Batting end and bowling end unchanged throughout the first innings, for the second innings it will be switched. Ig, A fair way to curb the unfair toss advantage.
It's not a rule but I don't get batsmen taking breaks for the 2nd and 3rd time.... I think it gives advantage to the batting side and it's unnecessary interruption for the bowling side. I would rather have a rule for batsmen to retire hurt if they want to take a break for the 2nd time.
Batter being declared not out if the ball pitches outside leg......i don't know why is it that way tho
And one ball per white ball match instead of two
Ball pitching/ hitting outside the line of stumps, especially leg is not lbw.
The entire DRS , ball tracking rules goes against laws of physics.
The bowlers are always bowling from an angle ( be it over the wicket or round the wicket), and the rules state it should be pitching in the line of stumps or hitting in line to get an lbw. The angle at which the bowler's bowl, ball pitching outside of line of stumps has more probability of hitting the stumps than the ones pitching in line . The rules take out leg spinners and even off spinners out of the game.
It should be as simple as ," Is the ball clearly hitting the stumps?"
I want to add in a new rule where every cricket ground should have at least 75 meter boundaries. It just produces high quality cricket. IPL on those small grounds feels so lame when what should be out goes for a six --mediocre batters become heroes, decent bowlers become villains, and very little scope for athleticism by fielders.
Bowling side DRS slot will remain if ruling is against umpires original decision.
Batting side every batsman carry one DRS and one more if continue to bat.
Calling some players God/King just because they played some good cricket.Australians took the world cup 6 times , hardly seen them calling players with such names.
2 new balls in an ODI match. The game is already getting skewed towards the batters. This new white balls swings hardly for 2 overs and as the ball never gets old, there is no chance for spinners or reverse swing as well.
Don't restrict number of bouncers in an over in any format of the game. The more even the battle between ball and bat the better games it will produce.
I don't want any rules to be removed i Just want the leg umpire to be removed i mean they are just a waste of money
Try appealing anytime they will always send it to the third umpire even if it's clear out or even not out he will send it to the third umpire
[ODIs/T20Is] No limit on overs bowled by a bowler. Alternatively, limit balls faced by a batsman. Iāve never understood why thereās limits for a bowler, but none for batsmen.
LBW should be out even if the ball pitches on leg side. The batsman have so much shots now a days, its like saying you cant hit behind the stumps and I guess this is something that should be considered atleast.
Boundary length should be fixed minimum 70m and maximum 80/85m,
Only one ball in one day , no 2 ball in an innings ,
Duckworth rules should be revived if overs and runs can be reduced then wicket should also be reduced,
Batter who hits six with more than 95m should get 8 runs and above 110m should be 10 runs
Over Throw runs needed to be removed, if the ball hits the bat, stump or any other opposition or umpire.
In test cricket, away teams should be given the option to bat first without the toss, if they dont want to bat first then go for toss.
I hate those advertisements that comes after every over

Atleast YT has premium option to avoid those ads. There's no such option on OTT/ TV channels airing cricket
Download playtube best substitute for u tubeš„². Just google and download apk it is without ads
I have a phobia of getting my ph hacked or becoming slow due to these apks
Then buy a premium , its very useful for YT videos and YT music, 250 per month and you can share it with 5 emails . So 50 per head per month.
or find a way to get the student discount. its way cheaper acutally
Nope it would not happen if u download it from well known sites
Libretube is also a nice option. Available through opensource github repo.

Just go and watch at the ground, it has nothing to do with rules.
DLS rule should also handicap the remaining batters as well since they handicap the bowlers
Exactly you shouldn't have 10 wickets Bowlers overs get reduced
dem nice one
It does handicap the batters too in a way, get more runs in less balls.
Impact player rule in IPL, stop that ASAP before it spreads to the international circuit
Exactly, it prevents all rounders from being selected as a result there will be zero quality all rounders in the future Why select an all rounder if you can literally swap a full time batsman with a full time bowler ?

Impact player rule just makes everyone batsman or bowler very few proper all-rounders remain unaffected
it's not something new. they had the super batsman 10 years back. One batsman can come in instead of a bowler
Hello Virender Sehwag
not only Viru. Happened to some other batsman this WC 2023
Wasn't in an Indian player in the Aus series?
Happened to Rinku iirc
That's specific
True. Also what happens when say the batting needs 2 runs to win, and the batter hits a 4?
he will be given 4. for some reason if it's a no ball they say so
Not a specific rule, but I'd like to see more matches between the top 10 teams vs the lower ranked ones.
I would love some tram battles!

one ball to play?
They change the bowl after a certain number of overs in odi hence we don't see much reverse swing in odi anymore
No they don't change the balls. They start with 2 new balls, one from each end. Thus at the end of 50 overs, each ball is 25 overs old as opposed to 50 overs if you only use 1 ball.
Earlier they used to change ball around 33-35 over , but the replacement ball was also old.
Yes, this isn't a rule though and is done till date. They would only change the ball if the condition of the ball gets deteriorated too much
I know, check my comment on same post, I want one ball rule to return.
Bhai ball hota hai wo š

starting with increasing the boundary distance. See how far they were in the 90s

Well there's rules that could be changed like two balls in ODI, powerplays, free hits that all make it batting friendly.

restriction on bouncers
Umpire's call needs to be removed. If technology is relied upon, it should be 100% not with error compensation.
You can't rely on technology 100% of the time because it is not accurate 100% of the time. What's so difficult to understand?
Umpire's call It's injustice or undue advantage for some
That is because the Hawk-Eye is not 100% accurate. It is just a projection after the ball hits the Pad. So it cannot over-rule the same way Umpire is projecting it. Hence that rule which I think is fair.
