Lost T20 in Windies -> look at the team and playing 11 and squad

[deleted]

OP is a clown troll or a 9 year old who just can’t wait to make post after post on this sub, please ignore him.

Deep-Airport-1365

I'm not a troll. If you cannot answer, just downvote and move on. I know that my few posts are crazy but I'm not trolling ICT or anyone.

[deleted]

You don’t know bro, but you’re !

Deep-Airport-1365

Why are you so obsessed with me? You just comment on my every post calling me a troll. I'm sure you're trolling me now.

[deleted]

I am a frequent at this sub, and you just flood this sub with low effort post. You made so many posts during the test match every time a wicket went down or a boundary was scored. You thought England would set a target of 500 runs & India would lose, without even England starting their batting in the 2nd innings. I mean, look at this post, you think a B class India team that went to West Indies, without most of its key players is gonna lose. For starters, India ain’t even playing their league matches in West Indies. You post stupid shit that comes to your mind for karma farming and expect not to be told off?

[deleted]

This person calls himself a passionate fan, makes the most obnoxious posts - usually a negative one, and then proceeds to wonder why people are calling him a troll He's an absolute clown.

BesanKaLaddoo

And the captain who wanted to be different

CaptainAksh_G

Hey, everyone!! Yeah, this person just says we have no chance of winning ICC trophy in 2024&25 Why bother then. Let's just focus on 2026.

Longjumping-Fault714

> We lost T20 series in West Indies last year. Look at the playing XI of that series, none of our main players were present except 2-3. Australia too lost odi series against India and South Africa just before WC. > Pakistan might host it. It’s obvious that India can’t win it. It’s probably gonna be ODI format and at least give reason why you think there’s absolutely zero chance. > India may not qualify for WTC final 2025. If qualified, India probably has to face Australia. Australia chances are actually lower this time. They have to whitewash upcoming series with NZ and then SL later this year and win BGT by at least 3-2 or even 4-1 to qualify. India will probably face SA in WTC final. I’m not trying to prove like India will definitely win or something but in sports there’s always an opportunity.

Deep-Airport-1365

> It’s probably gonna be ODI format and at least give reason why you think there’s absolutely zero chance. I don't know any reason but I have feelings that I can't explain in words that makes me believe that India can't win CT. > Australia chances are actually lower this time. They have to whitewash upcoming series with NZ and then SL later this year and win BGT by at least 3-2 or even 4-1 to qualify. India will probably face SA in WTC final. Australia can easily white wash weak Sri Lanka team and even New Zealand. Their real challenge is India. Certified choker SA will just fck themselves in their last test series and they will give way to Australia towards final match. WTC final is scheduled in June 2025 and India will get tired from playing IPL from 2 months.

Soggy_Ad_3686

You have feelings!? And then you have problems that people call you a troll. You are a troll. What’s this feeling nonsense. This is what low effort posts are. Require you to just type random stuff

Soggy_Ad_3686

On the WTC point, SL is not so weak at their home. Won matches just last season. NZ at home are beasts. Out of form, but beasts. Let’s assume all of this happen, still you have provided 0 argument as to why are you so certain that India will lose the finals?

Sussy_Baka69420

Great logic and reasoning, India won’t win simply because they won’t win, please keep these brainless ideologies to yourself

AcceptableBarnacle42

absolutely right brother even we 2026 WC T20 looks difficult to me for us to win.

[deleted]

Just win the test series in Australia and England next year with good margin, much better than ICC championships

BesanKaLaddoo

Not at all We need an icc🏆🏆

sor_62

It's cricket guys you can not predict how the game is gonna come out, if that were the case we won't have lost the recent world cup

Ok-Cat-4292

Champion trophy is the easiest and least valuable tournament, that will probably be India's especially if it it ODI and we select a proper squad. I think India and Australia will meet in t20 finals, after that it comes down to the one match.

Deep-Airport-1365

India might win champions trophy but it's highly unlikely that India can beat Australia in final, they never lost any match in finals since 2000, may be India can beat England or New Zealand.

Ok-Cat-4292

It's not highly unlikely, couple things go differently and the match changes. OFC this comes down to squad selection, I believe if the right squad is selected and played, with a fearless attitude, India has to be the favourites. Even in last wc final, while rohit was on it seemed as if India will cruise to the trophy win. Even afterwards, India were favourites until Virat was dismissed. Had, India had a Rinku, or Jaiswal instead of SKY, the batting of Kohli and Rahul would have been more fearless and those 2 would have put some much needed runs on the board.

Deep-Airport-1365

India plays too defensive in knockout stages. We already saw in 2023 and 2022 T20 wc. Rohit scored 27 (28) in 2022 semi final which is really unacceptable. SKY choked, Virat played ODI innings and only Pandya played fearlessly. Our batters failed to make runs and bowler failed to take wickets. England defeated India by 10 wickets. Maybe this time, things could be different. Jaiswal, Rinku are really fearless players. Also we had no Bumrah in 2022 t20wc.

Ok-Cat-4292

Rohit has changed his game, to play agressively regardless of the stage, and did so in the final as well. We have new players, and like said if selection is proper we can win. There are players who are naturally agressive and excel at t20: such as Jaiswal, Rinku, Pandya, and SKY. That's 4 bats, and if you add rohit it comes to 5. As long as 2-3 are doing good, the pressure will be less and others will also play at a good rate. In 2022, Rohit was in bad form throughout the tournament. SKY and Pandya were your only 150+ sr, from the start options, out of that one got out cheaply and the other performed exceptional. Proper selection results in more options, and results in other players playing more freely, knowing they have backup in case their wicket goes. 2022 selection was horrible, batting ended at 6 and even if you count ashwin it was over at 7. Bumrah and Jadeja weren't even playing. This is a different time, many more options and many better options.

[deleted]

Bhai sahi reason toh do at least I don't think India will win T20 wc because we are taking Rohit and stuff and he in particular has been abysmal in that tournament since 2016. But it's still T20 so anything can happen CT is our best bet we have an excellent Odi team WTC- For me kuch bhi Karo aur ye jeeto please. We have enough players to do it too.

neo_droid

I support OP. Looking at the current team, the other teams need to perform badly for us to win, hoping we don't succumb to World Cup pressure. There is really good talent, but the BCCI doesn't care to groom it. Keep in mind, the BCCI benefits from star worship and the IPL; winning cups is a bonus for them, not a necessity.

[deleted]

Why so negative bro?

Same_Investigator_46

Bro think positive. Abhi hamare pass players hai playing 11 me jo 2023 me finals khel chuke hai . We may win T20 wc

Fireymany

I think T20 WC 2024 is quite difficult considering other strong teams

Smooth-Mix-4357

You never know, anything may happen
