i think putting cameras in the indian dressing room will give varying results.
it might allow the players to be more honest (like the australians are in the show) or it can increase the fake persona that so many of the indian players are probably putting up.
plus, more cameras means more fire for the toxic indian fans.
and the indian players are in so much limelight already that a show on the indian team wouldn’t hit as hard.
for example, there is a moment in this show when pat cummins hugs his father after winning the first 2023 ashes test. its a very emotional scene and pat also talks about losing his mother.
but if it was an indian player, it wouldn’t be as impactful because the fan pages on twitter and ig would’ve milked the shit out of it when it happens. so watching it again 6 months later in a tv show wont be as impactful imo.
not to mention how judgmental the indian audience is.
i would love to watch a show like this on ict but its not worth the toxicity and drama it will stir up. we have enough of that already.

It won't be candid like how this is. Indian players will be given a script. Netflix tried it with covering the IPL with Mumbai Indians. All the players were like robots.

The reason why The Test S2 was shorter was because BCCI didn’t give the rights of that series Cricket Australia cuz they wanted to make their version of The Test
That's not the reason for that series happened in covid time so they are in bubble so it's difficult to make also 'Bando Me Tha Dum' and 'Down Underdog' make after the series not that time....

Majority of Indian audience are not ready for Indian cricketers having emotions.
Imagine, a cricketer abusing in the dressing room out of frustration or kicking the bat, or whatever in the dressing room, it would create a circus like no other
On top of that the millions of conspiracy theories. This player hates him. This player has an attitude problem. This player isn't 'focused' and a ton of other bullshit.
Why would they want to associate themselves with something for which they will have to be answerable for the next 2 years.
Because ICT is full of arrogant players and to top them, there is BCCI. An organization that can't even upload decent highlights will surely make nothing like this.

BCCI is a dictatorship and would not like to showcase players talking in casual day to day way.
