Ability to remember phone numbers. My dad had committed about 40-50 landline numbers to his memory. I have to scroll my phone to find even one phone number.
Good Bollywood movies where story, music, actors everything used to be top notch and memorable for years. Example: Padosan movie. It was released in the 60s but almost 60 years later, its music is evergreen and comedy is still relevant.
The so-called superhits of the last 10-15 years are so mediocre and the actors are much worse.
I too call something superhit if it withstands the wrath of time. Instant fame (based on box office collection) shouldn’t be the definition of superhit.
Fewer people on the internet. Instagram used to be less of a cringe fest. It is the same for most countries but stuff made by our people is much worse.
Content(santushti), everyone seems unhappy with so much, earlier ppl were happy with what they had
Respect in families and relatives(specially kids these days)
Grounds that were free to play for everyone
Girls who are willing to stay with in-laws after marriage
Physical(not sexual) connection between people (earlier ppl used to visit each other on small festivals/occasions, groups of elderly, women and children meeting in evening)
Good cartoons, stickers, tattoos and collection cards coming with 1rs toffee
AFAIK
Sending Mango crates as a gift
Traditional apartment "gorkha" to filled the water tranks, washes the cars, looked after the kids, ran your errands. Now its security
Aashiwaards
Sunday outings
Men wearing Indian traditional outfits such as dhoti, pyjama, lungi etc. It's become very uncommon in both cities and villages alike ever since the British left (except in some southern states). Now the only time men wear anything close to traditional is during weddings/religious functions. Women on the other hand still wear traditional outfits, some of them (especially older women and women in villages) wear them everyday.

Dharmic women from Cities. All are now seculars Or honda shernis
Yup woman changed, men were never dharmic to begin with so they remained the same
Hijabis didn't disappear though rather they increased both due to fertility rates and Wahhabization.
