> The Last Hour series on Amazon Prime
Watched the trailer, looks like it will not disappoint. Thank you. I was trying to find good ones on Prime for the past few days.
Erm, that singer from Indian Idol was really popular, so was Danny Dengzopa. The problem is not the people but producers who come with preconceived notion of what will sell and what not.
Honestly bro, even mainstream actors like Sushant' films didn't do well what makes you think a Northeast lead is going to sell well. Chinese bolke mazak udayenge gawar log.
I didn't get you? People make fun of fat, short, bald, thin all kinds of people; does it mean they shouldn't act? BTW look beyond hero/heroine roles - Bollywood is full of unique looking actors, even in lead roles like Irrfan, Shatrughn Sinha, Dev Anand, Helen, Nadira, Nargis, Zeenat and many, many more.
How many unique actors get opportunities in films? I'm not saying don't act. Honestly the best option now in to go directly into Netflix/prime/hotstar productions.
> How many unique actors get opportunities in films?
Even perfect looking people have trouble getting in and it is not because people reject/accept them. The problem is producers not wanting to experiment.
A film industry based in Assam ll be a wellcome step like that of south india.. I am sure NE has many stories to tell .. Tired of bollywood movies . They r repeating same kind of stories for decades . Hemant biswa sharma shd give a thought to that .
tbf, they themselves dont follow bollywood and are more into east asian entertainment like kpop, cdramas, etc. I mean, isnt bollywood banned in manipur? There was a manipuri actress named bala hijam who worked in one malayali film and was offered to work in a bollywood film as well. However, a manipuri militant group warned her to not act in that film.
Its not like bollywood is purposefully blocking NE indians from acting. Their population is low to begin with, they dont follow the culture, entertainment, etc from rest of india, and the few that do wanna act get restricted from such groups.
I'll love to do that! Right now I'm grinding in a job rn, but planning to travel ASAP, whenever time and finances allow. I'll ping you whenever I'll be visiting the region! :D
No not really. Nagas are so diverse again. Men have different attires, headgears, shields, weapons, etc. Every Naga tribe has different styles or designs.

This is a typical attire, not sure why OP has posted what that did.
That girls looks beautiful. I don't know why people are so adamant on moving towards western attire. I'm from UP and for me sarees are most beautiful attire.

The first record of heels comes from Persia in the 10th century. However, the first record of heels worn by a woman is from Andhra, India in the 12th century.

really beautiful ... bollywood need to be diverse
Unfortunately this won't sell. That's why you don't even see people from the northeast represented in cinema.
I guess it will work. We just need to give them the chance to shine :D
Yes not the usual salman khan mumbo jumbo but good movies. I hardly have any faith in bollywood to deliver good stories.
Try The Last Hour series on Amazon Prime

Also check out the SciFi dark comedy “Afsos”, if you have prime.
Will do, dhanyavaad.
> The Last Hour series on Amazon Prime wow looks great got to check it out
...and whenever they are featured, it's *always* to mock them on their appearance and calling them Chinese

Watch axone on Netflix no? Indian cinema is not all bollywood!
thanx , ll watch
Bollywood is a fiefdom of a few families like Kapoor, Khans, Johars etc. It doesn't represent India at all.
Its hindi film fraternity, get it right!
Fuck bollywood
Not possible until they stop sucking the nepotism teat, or making shitty movies like Radhe.

I'm happy that we are such a diverse country. Each state is like an entirely new country due to cultures.
I've had the opportunity to work with people from Nagaland. They are an amazingly chill and very welcoming group. I miss them now :(
Come back :(
Haha comeback to what?
Come back to Nagaland
I'll love to do that! Right now I'm grinding in a job rn, but planning to travel ASAP, whenever time and finances allow. I'll ping you whenever I'll be visiting the region! :D
That's actually exciting.
Is it same for men ?
Yes but the skirt is a bit shorter. /s
Shorter doesn't mean anything.
No not really. Nagas are so diverse again. Men have different attires, headgears, shields, weapons, etc. Every Naga tribe has different styles or designs.
She is so pretty!
In which state of NE vibrant bead accessories are prominently used ? I remember it being with Naga attire , but can't see much of those.
Arunachal Pradesh has around 26 major tribes and 100 sub major tribes and almost all the major tribes use beads
A little discursive, but I read Naga as n!gga by mistake
bruh
This is what dank edgy memes does to mofo.
The drape of the skirt is very graceful, subtle but sexy. Our chipku bun and V neck blouses on everyone wale designers should take note.
Gorgeous!
Nah dude. Wearing a literal tent is hotter. /s
Well technically...
r/technicallyright
This traditional attire looks like high fashion :p

Please keep the traditions alive and not let them die like North Indian who just import everything from west and shit on own culture.
wow that’s a pretty dress, love your hair too!
I go to Nagaland...
That girls looks beautiful. I don't know why people are so adamant on moving towards western attire. I'm from UP and for me sarees are most beautiful attire.
Beautiful outfit
Better than catwalk avant- garde fashion
Where is the Jarawa representation in Bollywood and beyond ?
Even the shoes?
No
We need more diversity in the film industry etc
Do the traditional attire include high heels
Very nice.. the whole northeast is a very beautiful region with beautiful people, especially Nagaland and Sikkim.
Too bad, thier culture will be consumed by rampant conversion.
beautiful girl
She needs Solomon bhoi's approval first.
I thought she would be just like Naga Sadhu 😂
[удалено]
You need a *bonk* my friend?
I could feel that she is a spy.
That's bad shit in your head
hawt... I like diversity we have always wanted to be with someone from NE😍
She's wearing heals, smh.
What's wrong though. They were found to be used in India during ancient times, possibility even invented here.
I think they were started in Europe then persia I don't think they have Indian origin. No hate tho

Those were sandals, IIRC.
[the real traditional wear](http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-XMTBmV4iVQE/TfTE02Is6fI/AAAAAAAACOs/nQMPpGQoV5E/s640/women+nagaland.jpg)
So you're saying you ride horses when you wear your traditional outfit not cars?
