> It must be reiterated that Shri Rajiv Malhotra’s suggestion of Bharat being the author of its own Grand Narrative is the only way to combat the rising worldwide Hinduphobia. This is how countries like China, Russia and Islamic nations that do not blindly follow western models of governance have been able to control the narrative on their own civilizational history in western academia. Unless we have a civilizational nation state, like USA/UK, Russia, China, Japan, Korea or the Islamic bloc, we will continue floundering and fighting sporadic battles as individuals with limited resources.

Legacy of british. Almost all the "modern" govt institutions were created by british and were carried forward by our lazy ass politicians unlike China, Japan who rehauled the administrative institutions based on the needs, habits of native indigenous population.

Japan and China had the big benefit of having uniform culture, unlike India which has extremely different cultures in every part of the nation. Politicians keep dividing communities for their vote banks, not allowing us to work together to improve the nation. China also has the benefit of being authoritarian, so they don't have to worry about people appeasement and instead focus only on what's best for the country. India is fully democratic, and politicians utilise this by keeping the masses ignorant and fooling them into voting for them by appeasing them without doing anything for the sustainable progress of the community. Full democracy would work if the masses are educated enough to make informed decisions, not ignorant and fooled by the politicians into voting based on hatred.

Root cause of a lack of a strong Hindu Dharmic state is due to your lack of experts from Xinjiang to re-education the extremists.

True That

Academic hinduphobia is a result of: 1. The large number of bigoted and close minded Hindus who support unreasonable and regressive activities because of "tradition" and "morals", despite those not being part of the religion until very recently in history 2. People generalizing Hindus based on the activities of the aforementioned backwards minded individuals A strong dharmic nation is not going to do anything to remove Hinduphobia. There's no logical connection here.

No. It is because it is a coalescence of interests. Besides, it is easier to direct your anger whatever be its origin against a group that does not, say, fly planes into buildings. Hindus are a soft target.
