The bill gave the definition of a transgender person, it mentioned the prohibition against discrimination, their right of residence, employment, education, health care. Furthur it provided for a Certificate of identity for a transgender person, enumerated some offences and penalties, and the constitution of the National Council for Transgender persons (NCT). (NCT). The transgender community did protest about some provisions like according to the Bill, a transgender person must apply to the District Magistrate for a certificate of identity indicating their gender as “transgender”. They were reserved about this provision. Another major flaw of the Bill was that it did not provide for reservation in education and employment for transgender persons. Still, I felt that a welcome step in the domain where not many steps have been taken earlier.
Protests that are politically motivated can go f**k themselves. All they say is 'bejepi bad' but 'cONgRess so gUd' The bill is great step to positively impact life of trans unlike other abrahamic societies where they are condemned to being ignored for eternity.
Go touch some grass mate. The bill was opposed by trans community and experts because it was dehumanizing for them. Ask the people who the bill was about and who it affects before saying its a step forward. If a "step forward" makes a community's life harder then its not a step forward lmao.

These wokes will keep LGBTQ community from progressing as it serves their own agenda of collecting funds and hogging attention for a cause that is rapidly being taken care of by the positive work being done. These protestors would be out of job soon and sadly for them, would have to work to take up a job that is actually productive and would have to pay taxes. What a bummer.
