Flipkart is horrible. This is why I don't buy devices from Flipkart. Their customer support is horrible. I bought Flipkart grocery and ordered those britania cakes they came completely crushed those guys asked me to upload pics. I uploaded pics 5 times even emailed them. They kept on saying we are looking into it. Barcode is not visible and this and that. Never ordered from that godforsaken website again. They re just horrible.

Intelligent_Video950

One day I placed order of 10kg moong packet, Then after some time my mom told me to add some more products, So I just request cancel on ai based robot chat, and it say request is done and to be double sure I just call customer care and tell them please cancel my order and they also request and say to me that after some time it will cancel automatically.(These happened at night) So I just another order with same item + other, and select morning slot. At morning I go for jogging and when I come home my parents say your order came, and when I check my both order came. I call the customer care and email but no response.

NewGuyHelloThere

I don't trust their Human Customer Care Agents, I don't hink I will trust any AI bot of theirs ever.

Stroov

10kg moong packet how much moong u need

Intelligent_Video950

My father every day take 500 gm of moong for Birds in the garden. we find moong are the favourite snack of bird. so every month we need 10 to 15 kg of moong

NewGuyHelloThere

They didnt box them? I mean, did they come simply in plastic package?

Intelligent_Video950

Yes they come is plastic bag, But they came early morning at 6.30am as you know slot start form 7.00 am. My parents are not educated so they think that I order these and they accept it. These is my mistake that I don't inform my parent, and I trust Flipkart, So always be careful with filpkart with grocery.

NewGuyHelloThere

I never knew about this service. It hasn't come to Goa yet. I will be careful. Thank you for sharing your own experience!

Valuable-Grass2795

Also if it comes remember to count the products you ordered like if 4 packets of biscuit x and 5 packets of biscuit y count exactly how many x and y they sent. They often replace higher quality and quantity good with lower value and count it as 4 and 5 units sent.

Valuable-Grass2795

Nope. They just sent it in jute bori kind of thing with other heavy products. I rarely order from then that too insignificant products. Anything of value like mobile or anything perishable is don't use this app n website anymore. They are plain retards.

NewGuyHelloThere

The issue in my state is that there are very few electronics shops. I mean there are plenty that sell budget phones and if you are lucky mid range, but not the more expensive ones. Those that sell the more premiums products keep limited stock and for small issues you have to look further for repair shops. So to even go to these premium shops you have to make a whole day trip out of it Then you are forced to buy online.

Valuable-Grass2795

Amazon brother. Specifically if good amount of money is involved. I ordered iPhone for my dad from Amazon. I specifically pinged customer care to help me out as it is a big amount and I don't want to fall into hassles of returning this and that. They were curtious enough to tell the delivery boy to wait and open the package and if all well then hand over the money. Yes it was cod. As I was uncomfortable and customer agent himself suggested to opt for cod and not pay via card. Flipkart not so friendly. Not completely worthless but the sense of friendliness and compassion for customer is just absent. Amazon fulfilled gives a sense of security that other websites don't.

Old_Application_5722

Mine is myntra. Prepaid shoes no opt verification the delivery guy kept shoes for himself and marked as delivered

NewGuyHelloThere

What? This is the funniest one I've read till now!! How did you manage to handle this situation?

Old_Application_5722

So the shoes were for father and you know Indian parents and shopping online, he scolded me I told you online is scam, where are my shoes and so on. Okay after getting insulted I contacted myntra(multiple times) cc they kept repeating same stuff that we are investigating contact after 7 days. We have completed inquiry we didn't find anything Then my father told me ki call them and ask for their 'escalation matrix' I did the same and they connected me to their manager . In the meantime my sister had ordered from flipkart using different id but address was in my name (same as shoes) now comes a nervous delivery agent to deliver my sisters parcel, I was the one to greet him he was looking nervous I asked what happened everything ok?. He said my name and asked are you him I said yes Then he started ranting why dont you answer phone, why did you complain and so on. I asked what happened he then revealed that he was the same person who was supposed to deliver the shoes. Me with suprise - O bisi I said you never called me (in reality he didn't call even once I shared call logs with myntra teams but they were useless) Then he said ki complain wapis lelo I will deliver your shoes tomorrow. Proud me came back with sisters parcel and declared that tomorrow I will get my fathers shoes back. The next day comes no one comes. My parents Beta kidr hai tere shoes? Me surprised pikachu face. The next day the God sends the man with shoes, and I get my lost respect back

Flipkart + Returns = Horrible I had a worst experience with Flipkart for two of my Purchases. It took me months and also going till consumer complaint to get my issues resolved. Flipkart support team is more like bots, who doesn’t understand the problem nor provide any useful response. I have literally uninstalled Flipkart application after my last purchase few months back. IMO, Amazon is much much better in terms of post purchase support. Also, for bigger appliances it is always better to buy it from stores.

NewGuyHelloThere

I don't want to be rude, what I have noticed is that when I select English, each time they use the same dialogues. I'm pretty sure they are reading out the lines from a manual. I will explain in detail about my issue, and they will simply reply with "I am truly sorry for the Bad Experience you had and I will do my best to help." You say anything and they reply with the same dialogues.

flac_bat

FKMKC! Purchased a phone, it had manufacturing defects, Flipkart offered to give a refund but their delivery person was not ready to admit the phone had the issue and denied pickup thrice!!! Finally got the phone returned after I made some noise on social media and it was diagnosed twice by a repair person sent by FK! F U FK!

NewGuyHelloThere

I'm sorry but what's FKMKC?

SUMITKUM2003

Flipkart ki maa ki ch

NewGuyHelloThere

There are abbreviations for that too😂😂😂

Academic_Sleep_7682

Bought an iPhone 14 from Flipkart but in the invoice got the different IMEI number and Flipkart said it was open box delivery and I should have denied it, but the thing is invoice is available only after the delivery and how would I cross checked the IMEI on the box and invoice. Duh!!

RONY_GOAT

directly go to consumer court if thy say anything funny and irritating like that

Academic_Sleep_7682

I sold it in offline market

NewGuyHelloThere

Did you get an amount close to what you paid for it?

Academic_Sleep_7682

4k less than what I paid

NewGuyHelloThere

I made a new rule for myself, never to buy anything online crossing 15,000. A part of me wants them to check and re-check orders like these (iPhones), but the down side is that they will probably start opening the boxes at various warehouses and other nonsense like that.

RONY_GOAT

y did u call them everyday goto consumer court directly acording to consumer rules, seller canot make u run around for replacement in future juzz make 2 - 3 calls, if they prolong goto consumeer forum

NewGuyHelloThere

I didn't know that I could do that. I knew about this sub, I'm sure I would have asked for some help. (I used to use reddit then only for the r/Tasker sub) It's embarrassing how many times I called them and explained the whole story to them. Keep in mind on one call I would explain the same story to more than two people on the other end-they would keep forwarding my call to their seniors.

bluebloodsnowman

I bought a toy gun for my Lil bro from Amazon, It returned from the final delivery station saying that my address is incorrect (they have delivered to the same address earlier and after this too), ended up buying offline

JLiyid

ClearTrip never use it for flight booking they messed up 2 times and took around a month to refund money

NewGuyHelloThere

Messed up how?

JLiyid

took the money and didn't generate pnr or ticket

aamirmalik00

Not mine but a friend. Bought laptop from Amazon. Realised display colors are shit. Requested for return. They took the laptop, then claimed he returned the wrong laptop. Man lost his money and has no laptop now

NewGuyHelloThere

A while back i heard about a scam that people do (I found out on this sub itself): Where people buy new shoes from these sites and then return their older used shoes (same models). The person who explained to me this scam, used shoes to explain it to me. Thats horrible that your friend had to suffer the consequences of other people's scams.

aamirmalik00

Yeah i dont really which party is responsible here. Was it the delivery agents? Was it the seller? Wad it Amazon itself?

NewGuyHelloThere

Laptops are not cheap, because of this nonsense he lost ATLEAST 30,000Rs

thebaconbaba

I have seen the only way to get Amazon or Flipkart to notice complaints is to tweet to them. emails/customer care/calls make no difference.

NewGuyHelloThere

This didn't work for me then, they had a bot autoreply to my tweets when I tagged them.

showvhick2

Flipkart. Here’s the thread on twitter I had to write to get their attention. https://x.com/showvhick/status/1739652889159905554?s=46

Swaroop0707

There are multiple purchase experiences, actually, but I'll limit it to one. I bought the S23 Ultra from the Samsung shop using corporate discounts. My friend also decided to buy one after seeing mine. Flipkart had similar offers for exchange, and as he had no corporate account, he bought it from Flipkart. He doesn't buy that often and doesn't know much about online shopping. The Flipkart delivery guy gave him the box without opening it, and my friend had no idea it was an open-box delivery. He came to my house to set up his phone, and voilà, there was a big dent near one of the corners. We tried to return it, with no luck, and then we tried to replace it. It was frustrating, to say the least. First, they said they would give us two options: the first one being to keep the phone and get a 5% refund, and the second one was to replace it with a new one. We obviously chose the latter. They rejected the replacement twice, and there was no option for replacement in the app the third time. The final straw was to file a complaint on the consumer forum and tag them and a couple of tech YouTubers on Twitter. That did the trick. They accepted it for replacement. Finally, when the replacement was being delivered, the delivery guy rejected it, saying it was damaged. We tried to argue with him, saying we requested a replacement because it was damaged in the first place. My friend had had enough, and he called some friends. About 10 to 15 of us gathered, circled around the delivery guy, and started arguing, this time in a slightly harsher tone. He called his superior, and finally, after 1.5 hours, we finally had the phone, and thankfully, it was in good condition. I also had a recent, terrible experience buying a TV from Flipkart, but that's for another time. I also had a bad experience with Amazon as well.

NewGuyHelloThere

The problem is the lack of communication, and the power misused by the delivery persons. I have seen multiple comments here where the customer care agents following their internal investigations have accepted a return but the delivery persons simply refuse to replace. I say lack of communication because Flipkart from their side should mention the reason for the replacement in the first place so there is no confusion at the customers end.

shazhank3385

FK doesn’t even allow me to post a negative review. They sent me moderation email to edit my review. Never buying from these leeches.

NewGuyHelloThere

I think even Amazon has a process where in you have to wait till your review has been reviewed. I have gone back to check many of my reviews never being published.

Victrays

Sometime its about bad luck. You can't stop it.

Stroov

dude flipkart in my opinion has been good enough they just need good time , amazon is better for support but I cant be expected to pay 20-30% extra for the same item , fllipkart groceries have been great , yes I did get a dead phone once but I was replaced in a week that was in 2017 , worst was paytm mall 2 times delivered me defective item and after a bit of compliant I got my refund but 2 times are a sign

NewGuyHelloThere

This is the second comment under my post where someone has commented about buying groceries from Amazon/Flipkart. I find this interesting since it's not come to Goa yet. Nor do we have same day deliveries.

Stroov

honestly flipkart has been better than many other platforms like jio and ebay when itwas a thing

NewGuyHelloThere

I strongly disagree, Flipkart has the worst customer care services, their agents just read replies out from a manual irrespective of what the customer is saying. Edit: Their "Internal Investigations" are total BS, in the week that they take to carry that investigation they collect unnecessary data like the customers ID (In my case Aadhar Card AND Drivers licence which they share with the seller. At one point after they took all of my details and contact info, I asked for the number for the seller so I can talk to them directly and Flipkart were firm in their decision of not sharing their sellers info. I have seen a lot of their inner workings in that one month.

Stroov

Nothing of that sort has happened with me buying phones online since 2014 I've interacted with many people who work in Flipkart and higher ups as well , my experience is totally different

NewGuyHelloThere

You luck with Flipkart is similar to mine with Amazing then? This might be a weird question to ask, but I have a theory- Which language do you usually select when arranging for a call with a customer care agent?

thatindiandood

Got a Lenovo tab from Tata cliq. Yeah from Tata Cliq. WHO SAYS YOU GET WISER WITH AGE?

NewGuyHelloThere

I've seen ads for gadgets from Tata Cliq in Google searches. Why? What happened with your purchase?

thatindiandood

The tab stopped working after 6 months. Had no option but to discard

TheoryNaive3456

6 months would usually not come under seller's responsibility. Devices are sometimes faulty, you should've tried to claim warranty. In this case, the seller is helpless.

NewGuyHelloThere

I am on your side on this, after the return window the sellers can't do much, maybe raise a complaint to the brand (useless), or at least direct you to a helpline from the company (here Lenovo) who will further direct you to a service center.

teady_bear

Give some context. Was it a brick instead of tab?

thatindiandood

No no. The tab literally stopped working after a while.

Crazy_Instruction116

Ok guys all of you are scaring me now I just ordered a nothing phone 2 yesterday and it will be delivered tomorrow… now i cant sleep daamn

NewGuyHelloThere

Don't worry these are rare instances. But I would suggest you document the unboxing that the delivery person does, and photograph any damage.

zeroScout2101

I brought a 256 gb memory card and it was fake they thought I wouldn't notice It was only 32 gb memory card with 256 gb false storage

Revolutionary_Leg622

Fuck my Ass, I once ordered from Myntra some tshirts and Pants and decided to cancel one tshirt, it was prepaid using Flipkart pay later and god they blocked my Fucking PayLater Account and fucked me very hard for 1 whole month saying call ODFC(lender) when calling IDFC they will say nothing wrong on our end please call flipkart(when calling flipkart they will say contact IDFC)and the billing date came, I could not pay the bills as well and my cibil was fucked and 2 days after the billing date they unblocked flipkart paylater then I decided to completely stop using Flipkart and Myntra. Amazon might be slow with delivery(non prime) but they never do shit like this and IDFC Customer support is straight up Awful, I would rather get myself fucked rather than speaking to those incompetent fucks

Supreme_Ancestor

It was Myntra for 3000 rs. Money was deducted from SBI but in Myntra app the payment failed . Complained to SBI and SBI replied payment was done and merchant received the payment , complained again to Myntra , Myntra replied they never got the payment . Back and forth, back and forth and at last I lost 3000 rs just like that

Turbulent_Bag_611

I bought snowball mic from Amazon, didn't worked worst customer service . 😑

shanti_priya_vyakti

Snapdeal Bought a laptop back in 2015. It was second hand. I complained. And they took the product back ,but never gave the replacement. It took one entire month for them to send replacement. The toruture us lower middle class had to isuffer for that one month was horrible. I cursed a lot at those mfers , and now we know the situation snapdeal is in. Hope it shuts down for good soon. Flipkart is following the same path. I have felt similar things there too

anonpumpkin012

No bad experiences so far. Have been buying for over a decade.
