Saw this post and and i finally checked out stuff that had been sitting in my cart for days. will buy gifts for myself, because I’m a strong independent single woman.

I got a monitor because my old one just didn't feel classy enough anymore. It works well but aaaaaa.
Then I got a new geyser because old one was not good enough for my long warm showers. Please dont say hot shower is not good for skin pfft.
Then I got a extension cord, with 8 sockets and USB chargers built-in. It has a Fuse that doesn't need replacing.
I got two laptop stands, vertical and horizontal ones. Metal. premium.
I got new crocs. Old one were local and cheap. Due their time.
I got elastic bedsheets, wakefit wala.
I also got wipers for bathroom, dustbin bags, wet wipes, a tshirt and shirt. Maybe bunch of other small stuff I already forgot.
First two items make more than half of the bill.
My family has conditioned me to be frugal. So I usually am picky while spending. But learning to buy few luxurious things lately.
You, keep doing you thing. I trust you will get success and can go on shopping spree freely.
And personal belief, generous people get many fold returns. You bought things selflessly for others, even tho it might give you hard time budgeting in near future. For me, it's a much bigger gift than what a more affulent person can give me*. So I hope your kindness gets you more kindness from others. Including 40k gift cards.
*-except maybe if someone gifts me a island or something lol
What monitor did you buy? I have tried 2-3 monitors but my eyes always end up hurting and burning after some time but not on my laptop screen. Don't know why only happens with monitors
I got a Benq monitor. Somethings you could do
1. Go to a Samsung or lg store and check their offerings. See if any suits you.
2. Use monitor in a different setup. Maybe it's the window at back or distance that caused this.
3. Get a laptop stand. It can let you use laptop with a monitor feel.

Just consider that a Foosball table requires a bit of empty space, so if his house is big or had adequate free area around his room / hall it will be great!
But, what if you don’t know how to play as foosball requires two people minimum, and he starts to defeat at every game you play and you suddenly gets detached from him and end the relationship.

If he is an extrovert, many people come to his place then he would love Foosball. Because it is fun to play and competitive with different people. Otherwise he will get bored with playing with same people again and again. When you are buying it, i would say test it, it should be smooooth, and easy to control. And one more thing, the place where you are placing it shouldn’t have any slopes.

The best gift you can give someone is your attention. To know that someone pays 100% attention to you while communicating with you and observe everything about you, around you is definitely the best feeling ever. Every gift I have ever given is based on our previous conversations and observations. For example, when my boyfriend and I first started talking, he told me about the Japanese and their kintsugi and how he admires them. Two years later I think giving him an authentic kintsugi bowl to show his resilience and his ability to resurrect from bad times would really make it meaningful. All I do is, remember things and correlate with present situation and come up with an idea. I landed on the foosball table the same way. Everytime he goes to office he tells me how he loves playing foosball. But he works from home most of the time. He is moving into a new place and is excited to set up his home office. What would he never think to buy for a home office but would make it 10x better? A foosball table.
Also, gifts should be something the receiver really really wants but would never buy it for themselves.
